First Drop Smoothness Dead spots Layout

Aside from the 2 drops, there is not much else to the ride. The drops are fantastic and give loads of airtime. It is extremely smooth, no rattle on either of my 2 rides. However, the Immelmann and the other elements were completely forceless. This is a ride you do once or twice and then move on.

First Drop Location Intensity Reliability

This coaster is great. That first drop is amazing, and I love the brief pause before it drops. Super smooth for a coaster its age and a work of wonder. Go for front row here if you can. They claim the other rows are just as good, but they’re not. It also broke down twice in one day when we were there, so hit it while it’s open.

I dont remember this ride that much but i do remember loving it! my opinion might change when i ride it again but for now it is my number 2 I just love the vertical drop!

It’s a great ride with two amazing drops, a great inversion and it’s the park’s most picturesque ride for flying over the paths. The turns are a little slow in the second half, making it weaker than Griffon imo.

Dive coasters are a fun diversion, but they always feel like one-trick ponies. I remember the drops, but nothing else from the ride makes much of an impact on me. I did enjoy Sheikra this time more than I did several years ago.

I have been on two drop coasters prevoius (yukon striker and valravyn) so was expecting this one to stack up but it actually was super fun, second drop into the tunnel was surprisingly good and the splash down was fun

OMG- the day I was at BGT this ride was a walk on all day. Must have rode about 10 times, very basic ride but two awesome drops and a super fun zero g loop. Fun ride for what it is

An incredible first drop, very tall and intense. Before the block section it has a slight rattle causing some discomfort, but the location of the ride and the splashdown make it picturesque and nice, a good drop but not much else

First Drop Harness Too short

This harness was a lot more comfortable than the other dive coaster I’ve ridden, Yukon striker. The splashdown is also a really neat addition. First drop was amazing as usual. Overall really solid ride.

First Drop Intensity Ejectors

While Griffon pretty much does everything better than it, Sheikra is still pretty awesome. The two drops gives some powerful sustained ejector and the immelmann is really intense along with that whole first half. The second half is mostly a dead spot but the second drop tunnel and splash down are some really nice touches.

this is such a great dive the layout could use another inversion or two but instead it gives two shocking moments of airtime that put this on top as the best dive ive ridden

Short but sweet dive coaster. Great airtime off the two vertical drops, and the lift provides great views of the Tampa area! Never too long of a line and an absolute blast to ride!

First Drop Inversions Smoothness

An instant classic. This coaster has incredible drops, inversions, and it also gives you a great view of Tampa right after the lift hill. Highly recommend giving this one a night ride. It's a very comfortable and smooth ride.

While SheiKra has a short layout, I found the two drops to be extremely fun. This was definitely a nice surprise for me.

First Drop Inversions Layout Rattle

ShieKra has a great layout and fun inversions, but it had a noticeable rattle throughout. Maybe it is because I rode it in an edge seat. That being said, though, it still has a fantastic first (and second) drop with excellent floater airtime and the ride still holds up well despite being the first dive machine in the North America. Overall, I prefer Griffon at BGW, but this is almost as good.

This is a very good ride. It's not as good as Griffon but it's still a very good dive coaster with two great airtime filled drops

First Drop Location Intensity

SheiKra is my favorite dive coaster at the moment. I think it does almost everything right for a dive coaster. My one knock is that I wish it did more with its layout but it's an early dive, and for me to still put it over Griffon and Valravn is high praise. I love the location, park interaction, color scheme, and trains. It does so many things right. The double loading station is good for capacity as well. The lift hill is massive and gives a great panoramic view at the top. The first drop is phenomenal. Incredible airtime all the way down the drop. The pullout is intense as well it makes me grey out every time. The first immleman has some great positives and even some airtime in the right seat. You glide into the mid-course and dive into a tunnel, providing more great airtime and a nice near miss. You go into a turnaround and glide into a perfectly placed splashdown. Then hop up into a final helix that has some good G's. The whole ride has great forces and is placed perfectly.

First Drop Fun Ejectors Too short

This is an amazing dive coaster. This was the turning point of the model in my opinion. The first with floorless trains, the first with a true vertical drop, and two at that, and the first one with the dive coaster standards of an immelman. This coaster also feautres a dive into a tunnel, a splash down, and a small helix. This ride only has around 35 seconds of prime ride time, which sucks. This is still one of the best dive coasters in my opinion.

Not a huge fan of drop coasters but the restraints aren’t bad and the views of steamy Tampa aren’t awful either. The inversions don’t do much but it’s always been a smooth ride. The second half is pointless after the drop

Comfort Fun Hangtime

Shiekra is an amazing dive coaster, so much airtime! It also has some amazing hangtime! I thought I wouldn’t like it but I loved it!

Sheikra is a great ride and does what it’s meant to do. The two drops give fantastic airtime, especially the first one, the Immelmann is fun, and the rest of the layout gives an enjoyable experience.

An amazing ride with one of the best first drops on a coaster and a really fun drop of the MCBR, other than that it was just okay, but those two elements made this the 3rd best coaster in the park.

It dives like a dive coaster should. It has a nice layout. It has the proper dive restraints. It gives nice views of the park. It has a splashdown. But why then, is Griffon so much better? Baffling.

So this this coaster is first off all amazing to look at and very scenic with good theming build around it. Also the station is very cool designed. The waiting time is always short because of these enormous trains having a huge capacity. While reaching the top the ride builds up anticipation for its first drop, which is in my opinion the best part of the ride. Also its extremely smooth and comfortable which makes it very fun to ride. You could ride this 10 times in a row. After the first drop there is an inversion and then already the mid course break followed by a second amazing drop into a pit, after that it goes into some curves and a splash down and thats it. Its like with all the B&M dive coasters, short but fun

First Drop Location Layout Too short

SheiKra, even after riding the likes of Griffon, Valravn, and Yukon Striker, is still my favorite dive coaster. It's the most dominant in the skyline, has the most deliberate and purposeful layout, and has the best theming and landscaping. The two drops have excellent airtime, the inversion is forceful at the start and has floater air in the exit, and there are several moments of strong positive forces. The water splash is the most beautiful I can think of, as is the stunning red and blue color scheme. It even has the best capacity, with a double loading station. Everything about this ride is perfect, and the only thing holding it back is the short duration. As the coaster that eliminated all my fears of coasters once and for all, I love SheiKra.

First Drop Disappointing!

Superb engineering once again from B&M, but not a great ride. It's more of a looker from the ground; it is mostly contrived to look impressive from the ground (which it does!). Anything other than the front row misses out greatly. Sheikra is surrounded by other superlative rides, which biases my low score for this one, but then that's the challenge of trying to out-do yourself!

SheiKra was one of the first coasters I ever rode as an official enthusiast, just the visit after I braved my fears of going upside down on Kumba. I rode Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg just the month before; and while I slightly prefer Griffon due to its great location along the Rhine coupled with more airtime, SheiKra is still a very good ride. SheiKra’s iconic first drop never ceases to thrill me, giving quite a lot of good floater air; the rise up into the Immelmann and swoop around into the mid-course is certainly an exciting yet more relaxed manuever; and the mid-course brake run provides a nice pause just before that great second drop into the tunnel. From the lift hill, my eyes were constantly on the humongous structure of RMC Gwazi, watching for any sort of movement or maybe that photographed purple track from a few weeks ago. I pointed out to my best friend (who was at the park with me, also riding SheiKra) that “There’s RMC Gwazi,” and it turns out that a coaster enthusiast from New Jersey was sitting right next to me. We struck up a conversation about Rocky Mountain Construction during the lift hill, and on the final brake run we began discussing Intamin — interestingly enough, he was a ride operator for Kingda Ka so this guy mentioned quite a bit about the unreliability of their creations — but, I’m getting ahead of myself. After the tunnel dive, the train soars right over the Zambia Smokehouse — a place I’d had meals at during a few of my many Busch Gardens Tampa visits when I used to live in the area — and hits the splashdown. I may or may not have gotten hit by a few droplets of water at this time. After a large rise, the train spiraled into the final helix. It was here that I caught a distinct view of RMC Gwazi’s purple track with my own eyes, albeit for a split second as we hit the final brake run. SheiKra is definitely the 3rd best coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa, merely behind the sheer greatness of Kumba and Montu but ahead of Cheetah Hunt, Scorpion, Cobra’s Curse and Sand Serpent. It is a thrilling ride with some great views and good floater airtime. It’s definitely worth your time, if you happen to be at Busch Gardens Tampa.

I love Sheikra! My current fav dive machine ! (although soon to ride Valkyria so we'll see ;p) The views you get are awesome, you feel super high up and the first drop seems to hang you there for ages before it drops you ! Awesome! So smooth the whole way round! I love the splash down, especially when on one of the wing seats, feels like your feet will touch the water! :) The splash down is also awesome off ride if you want to cool off and get soaked ! Like all dive machines, just wish it was a bit longer!
