Inversions Pace Intensity
Very underrated invert. This one was made during the time when B&M didn't really make the most forceful rides, so don't expect to be blown away as it's not whippy. But it is still pretty intense and the pace of the second half is awesome, especially with the airtime-filled drop and the low turn by the entrance.

First Drop Smoothness Disappointing!
I had high hopes for Talon, but my three rides left me feeling underwhelmed. It's an enjoyable invert and very smooth, but I didn't experience any of the whip or intensity that others have praised. My rides were in the morning, so maybe I would have liked it better later in the day after it warmed up?

Very good invert. Couldn’t find anything wrong with it but nothing stood out in particular either. Very similar to raptor but a bit better in my opinion.

Nice surprise! Intensity Smoothness
I honestly can't decide whether Talon or Raptor is a better ride! I got one ride in the back row, but even there, I got no headbanging, and there was even a pop of airtime. A POP OF AIRTIME ON AN INVERT!! Every inversion was well paced, and I was pleased with what I had ridden by the time I had stopped on the brake run. An extremely underrated ride that should be noticed more often.

Inversions Intensity Duration Dead spots
The reason to go to Dorney. First half is just meh, I prefer great bears inversions. But the second half is incredible. The corkscrew into the tight high-g turn is one of the best moments on any invert. Ride in the back in the evening.

Inversions Pace Intensity
It’s definitely one of the better inverted coasters out there. It’s got a really nice cool layout with 4 forceful inversions, really intense turns, and a couple of airtime moments. My favorite part of the ride is probably the Immelmann loop, because the valley into the inversion pulls really strong positive G’s. You also get some nice hangtime at the top, but on the descent, the hangtime becomes weak floater airtime. The turn afterwards also pulls strong positive G’s.

Inversions Intensity
Loved this ride. It was intense in a good way. It gave me the stomach drop at one point.

Airtimes Inversions Intensity
Talon feels like a better laid out Great Bear and I think a lot of people would agree with that. They have pretty similar stats and the same collection of inversions and while I do like the terrain and uniqueness of gb, I do like Talon better. This thing has some very solid whip on the drop as well as the zero g roll, corkscrew and surprisingly probably the best whip I’ve felt on an immelman. The loop is also pretty fun and forceful and all the turns and helices are very solid, the airtime pops into the brakes as well as on the drop off the helix over the entrance we’re very fun and rare for an invert. Overall a very smooth and well paced ride with no dead spots and a great color scheme to add.

Inversions Pace Intensity
Awesome B&M invert. After my first ride it was my least favorite but when it warmed up it became one of my favorite inverts. This ride does have a few decently snappy moments and even a surprise pop of airtime. but positive g's is really where this ride shines. The exit of the vertical loop is a guarantee grey out and I'm not one to grey out much. The 2 helixes are also have very sustained positive g's throw in a bunch of other moments with good forces. Not to mention the pacing on this ride is excellent, no dead spots and the ride hauls and feels like it just keeps getting faster which is weird but I like it. Overall this ride is extremely intense and should not be overlooked because its a top tier B&M invert for me.

Inversions Intensity
An excellent post Senator Markey US G-limiting B&M, one that actually has a punch to it on day one. This one got an awful lot of re-riding. I can imagine after 10 years of breaking in it will have picked up a tad more speed. Underrated coaster; albeit it is sat in an uninspiring location.

Inversions Pace Smoothness
Great B&M Invert, the better of the 2 in PA. Just above the Batman clones, and maybe the smoothest coaster I've ever ridden.

Inversions Smoothness Layout
A very underrated invert. It's incredibly smooth, especially for its age. I love the layout and all the inversions. Definitely sit in the front row.

Inversions Comfort Smoothness
This ride is SUPER underrated. I'd say it's a mid-high tier invert. Just because it's at Dorney Park, doesn't mean it's gonna be bad.

Intensity Smoothness Layout
Talon was a ride that I was expecting to be a mid-tier invert and that is exactly what it is. The first half is very vanilla. Common elements found on many B&M inverts and it doesn’t go through any of them in a special way. The drop is good and whippy. The loop is pretty standard and forceful. The zero-g roll is solid but isn’t on par with Great Bear’s or Montu’s. The Immelmann is good but also isn’t on par with Montu’s. The turn after the Immelmann is defined the best moment of the first half with it giving quite a bit of force but still doesn’t compare to Raptor’s helix. Then a little flat turn and drop that gives a tiny bit of floater and into the second half. The second half is where Talon really shines. It stays low to the ground through the landscaping near the ride and has a great sense of speed with whip and positives. The corkscrew really whips you and the turns are forceful. And then into the break run you go and it’s over. Talon is a good 8/10 invert but just doesn’t hold its own against some of the elite inverts out there. It does what it does well but from a comparison stand point it ain’t Montu, or Banshee, or Raptor.

Inversions Pace Smoothness
One of the best B&M Inverted Coaster to date. The inversions are amazing and definitely get you a couple inches off the seat. The pace is amazing and every foot of track serves a great purpose. Overall a very smooth ride might get one or two head bangs due to the over the shoulder restraints but overall a smooth coaster. Talon is a master piece and is without a doubt a must do and is a staple with Hydra and is a must do coaster when you visit Dorney Park.

Inversions Nice surprise! Fun
This was the start of me liking inverts again! What a great ride!

Airtimes Inversions Pace
Talon is one of my favorite inverts, and the coaster that made my trip to Dorney worthwhile. The loop and Immelmann are forceful, the zero-g roll and flat spin are whippy, and there are two excellent helices. Plus, this coaster, this B&M invert, has airtime. Once on the drop before the flat spin, and again upon the exit of the final helix. The balance and variety of forces is impeccable. The layout is well placed and the pacing is without flaw. The coaster is gorgeous, with an electric looking yellow and orange track with a softer blue support, made even more stunning by the green trees around the layout, so the colors of the ride take up 2/3 of the color wheel for a striking appearance of an awesome, deceivingly huge coaster. Badass ride, and a big sleeper hit.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity Too short
Really fun and whippy Invert that zooms through its layout, making for one of the more aggressive ride experiences I've had on a B&M Invert. However, this combined with the fact that it doesn't really have the longest track length makes the ride feel really short, even compared to other inverts.

Pace Intensity Smoothness Dead spots
Talon is, in my words, a mix of Great Bear at Hersheypark and Afterburn at Carowinds. It has the graceful, swooping motions of Great Bear and the whippy inversions of Afterburn. I prefer Talon to Afterburn, because it feels satisfyingly long while retaining intensity and has a great variety of elements. The corkscrew is my favorite moment on this coaster for sure, and Talon is my favorite coaster at Dorney Park far and away.
