First Drop Location Rattle Discomfort Tear it down!
I really do not like this coaster. I enjoyed the first drop and I do like the setting of this ride quite a bit but I have to say it's the worst coaster I've ridden and it's all due to the restraints. I do not like the vest restraints . These are the worst restraints I've ever experienced. After the very solid first drop, my restraints slammed down and throughout the rest of the ride, I could barely breathe and it was about to give me a panic attack. This ride had quite a bit of potential but the vests entirely ruined the ride and make me never want to ride this coaster ever again

First Drop Theming Inversions Discomfort
I really enjoy this ride and people seem to hate it because of one thing... the restraints. I had no problem with the restraints and it's not heavy on you and I'm not heavy either. The first drop takes your stomach away and the inversions are smooth and clean! Such a BEAST!!!

First Drop Fun Hangtime Too short
This is a great bolliger and mabillard wing coaster

First Drop Fun Smoothness Too short
Wild Eagle is a very fun ride. The straight drop gives great sustained floater airtime and I love the location above the mountains. Overall, I prefer Gatekeeper and Swarm, but it is still a good wing coaster. There are some great moments of positive Gs as well as airtime pops. Definitely worth a ride if you are at Dollywood.

First Drop Location Layout
My favorite wing coaster. It's very smooth. The thrills are mid-level, but I really enjoy the layout and the trip through the woods.

First Drop Fun Smoothness
This ride was GREAT! It felt like a B&M hyper combined with a B&M flyer. The drop was great, and I liked how smooth it was. Sadly, I had to take off my glasses before riding.

Location Fun Too short Harness
This is the worst B&M wing coaster I've ridden but its still a nice ride, its pretty short but it actually had some intense moments and it had great hangtime, I think the first drop is overrated though, and I just love the fun factor of these wing coasters.

Location
Fun wing coaster in an excellent setting, with most of the layout hidden until you climb the lift. The first drop and initial climb are pretty intense. The main run of inversions are relatively mild. I'd take this over the Swarm, but Gardalands Raptor or CPs gatekeeper are better wing and inversion experiences respectively.

Smoothness Intensity
I remember going up the lift hill and being terrified, then being relived that it was not as bad as I'd thought it would be.

This is probably the most expensive and perhaps the most impressive coaster at Dollywood. However, it left precisely zero impression on me. It is at least my 4th, 5th or even 6th favorite coaster in the park. I've ridden several of these winged coasters; this one isn't my favorite--the smallest one, Thunderbird, is. None of that is to say that this isn't a very good coaster at all. It is a newish B&M so you know it is liquid smooth. Of course being a winged design it is rather unique, and thrilling. Again, though, I don't remember anything about this ride. I know we rode it, but it just didn't wow us. We had 2 days of basically zero lines at Dollywood and we only rode this once. There are so many other more "fun" coasters, perhaps, not better, but more fun coasters in the park to ride that we never went back to this. We rode several others in the park up to 10 times.

I really do not like this coaster. I enjoyed the first drop and I do like the setting of this ride quite a bit but I have to say it's the worst coaster I've ridden and it's all due to the restraints. I do not like the B&M vest restraints and they are at their absolute worst here. These are the worst restraints I've ever experienced. Capacity Harness Disappointing! Dead spots
This ride exerts zero force whatsoever except for a very rough up and down rattle that was jarring. This ride takes its large elements so slow you get little to no sensation of anything especially since the awful vest restraints. Was so sad with how this ride felt

Airtimes Location Intensity Harness
Wild Eagle is awesome. Many call it weak and forceless but I strongly disagree. I had 3 rides on this in 2019 and every ride had terrific airtime all the way down the drop. I also greyed out on this every ride after the loop. The setting is great too. The ending isn't great but it's not awful either. The restraints tighten too much on the breaks but other than that this is a great coaster.

Location Smoothness Disappointing! Intensity
Wild Eagle is very large and very tame. There's some strong forces near the bottom of the first vertical loop, but it's largely pretty meandering. However, this ride is super smooth, it's super beautiful, and it's not so tame that it isn't fun. Wild Eagle is a pretty mediocre B&M.

Location Smoothness Duration
Restraints didn't bother me a bit. I'm so tired of that complaint on rides. Anyway, commonly referred to as "Mild Eagle" this thing is pretty mild, but in a good way. I think its supposed to be. Relaxing but fun ride with a nice layout and extremely re-rideable for the different experiences on each side. Great ride. Solid number 3 in the park for me. Inversions feel smooth and some nice terrain interaction and views. Perfect ride for Dollywood.

Theming Fun Smoothness
8.0 of of 10! Great theming and this was like being a A-10 war plane of the movement of the spins.

Location Comfort Smoothness Intensity
While this is far and away my mother’s favorite coaster of all time, I still think Wild Eagle is a decent ride in its own right — but surpassed by the other two B&M wing coasters that I have ridden, Gatekeeper and Thunderbird. The location for this coaster is the best thing about Wild Eagle, because you are atop the hillside that splits Dollywood’s park layout in two. The inversions are taken at a perfectly graceful speed, providing good hangtime and several near misses with the trees; while the helices at the end offer a pop of airtime, and a slight hint of laterals. All in all Wild Eagle is not a bad ride, but it certainly could be improved; as with most of the other wing coasters bar Thunderbird, it tends to fall a bit short in the intensity category.

Intensity Smoothness
This is actually pretty intense for a wing coaster. Better than gatekeeper for sure.
-
Comfort Smoothness
A B&M wing coaster with a layout which resembles more the layouts of their classic floorless or sit-down coasters. Nice views.
