    Inversions Nice surprise! Launch Layout

A very good ride overall. I loved the launch and forceful inversions, but there's always that one dead spot. The visuals are actually surprisingly nice, too!

This ride is a great family coaster, however other than that I can only really like the great visuals.

The overall apperance is just impressing, theming is very well done in the queue and even the "pre-show" which decides your seat is a unique feature I had never seen before. But the experience itself is not less good: it is very forceful, has some nice airtime moments and the main part of the layout is taken with a ridiculous pace, so there is no dead spot. The ride is definetely not the smoothest on earth, but it didn't bother me, I even think it kind of fits to this relentless thrill machine (it is DEFINETELY NOT a "family thrill ride", how it is claimed by the park) and due to the lap bars, there is no headbanging. The main downsides are the low capacity and the very long time hanging at the vertical lift hill which gets quite uncomfortable after several rides. These aspects are due to the backwards free fall, which feels quite weak and pointless - I think this gimmick could be cancelled without many complaints. After the break run, the final inversion and helix in the dark are quite slow, so I don't get the exact purpose of them. But the rest of this coaster is great, still one of the better ones in Germany!

    Capacity

This was the longest line we waited in all day. I bucked up and bought the fast past wrist bands because we were only there one day. Even when Candymonium was a 90 minute wait we only waited 5 minutes because of the wrist bands. However on Laff Trakk it only cut off about 25% of the line and we still had to wait about 30 minutes. The mirrors in the line made about 5 of those 30 tolerable. The ride itself is pretty tame. The fun house theming almost made it fun. There are couple of the drops that almost generate enough forces to be called fun. It is an excellent family ride.

This is a B&M invert so even an average one of these is still a pretty good ride. This definitely falls into that category. It is no where near as relentless as Raptor, Montu or any of the Batman clones. It isn't as lifeless and jittery as Patriot, though. The way it starts sets the tone. It is a nice and easy turn around instead of an immediate drop off the lift hill. It then drops you into the first loop--again nice and gradually--it isn't steep at all. This is really where this coaster comes to life and you go through the major inversions and elements. None are overly thrilling, but very solid and fun. Super smooth like it should be. Then it changes character. The second half just has you meandering along the creek with a few lazy twists and turns at a very leisurely rate. I don't think it breaks 30MPH again. Nothing is inherently wrong with it, but it is no where near intense enough to any where near my favorite B&M invert.

    Pace Intensity Layout Theming

This coaster is inarguably great, but in my opinion, a little overrated: Yes, the long layout is versatile and by the constant high speed, the experience is more aggressive than Wodan - definetely the most intense wooden coaster I've been on so dar. After multiple laps, this ride can get quite exhausting due to the overall high intensity. The station building and the surrounding with the Troyan horse look nice from the outside, but the inner area you enter before going upstairs resembles basically an empty backyard and in the station there is only little theming. Nevertheless, the soundtrack is really pleasant to hear. I definetely enjoy riding this fun coaster coaster, but I personally prefer Wodan over Troy.

    Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity Discomfort

I was pretty shocked by this ride. My only other experience with a standing coaster was on Scorcher at SFOG and this is waaaaay better than Scorcher. Not near as uncomfortable and way smoother, it is actually a pretty enjoyable coaster. The kicker is that it starts to get uncomfortable by the time you’re getting back to the load station and Carowinds never puts good operators on this coaster. Give it a try if you’re near it and the lines are short for sure, you maybe surprised.

    Theming Location Fun Capacity

A fun ride suitable for young and old standing in a nicely themed area. It even has a fancy soundtrack which reminds me of a video game with jungle vibes. The layout is atypical compared to other Bobsled Coasters: it is more extensive, there is only one switchback turn and the ride as a whole feels more like one of the family coasters of the same manufacturer, but with single cars. The only downside is the capacity which leads to long lines - so if you don't want to purchase a speedy pass, you should hit this ride as early as possible.

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Duration Discomfort

I love what the retrack has done to this coaster. It’s so much more rideable and noticeably smoother, the airtime hills are fantastic. My only gripe is the end brake run, man those trains stop so fast the back of some of the cars pops up.
