I was a bit hesitant to ride this coaster because of the bad rep it has got since the re-imagining. I never rode the original so I can't compare, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The rides I had (rows 10, 12 and 14) were all completely unhinged and I loved every insane second of it. Sure it's a bit jolty in places, but it's nowhere near as bad as Bandit, Loup Garou or even Mammut at Tripsdrill. It was 31 degrees Celsius when I rode it, the train was flying through the layout so fast I doubt the wheels were even touching the track. I'm a tall and somewhat fat guy and the Timberliner trains fit me like a glove. No discomfort what so ever. Awesome coaster.

As soon as this ride ended I loudly blurted out, "this is the best roller coaster I've ever been on!" And I meant it so much I felt it for days afterwards. This thing is a masterpiece that persists with a relentless intensity throughout the entire ride. It also has the best theming out of the list of the best coasters in the world. I haven't ridden SteVe or Iron Gwazi yet, so thus far this thing takes the cake for me.

I honestly did not expect this ride to blow me away like it did. It's easily the smoothest coaster at all of Cedar Point. Unlike many of the other coasters, it's not trying to be something crazy innovative or intense, it's just a flat out good ride with arguably the best first drop in the park.
We even waited in line for almost a full 2 hours and this ride still felt worth that wait (in the terrible, boxed-in queue).

I am not phased by coasters. They are fun but I’m never going to rate it low for being too “scary” or “intense,” but this is dangerous. I could hear my partner’s neck snap back and my own was in car crash level pain. Before the first loop. Couldn’t possibly enjoy it as I spent every second trying to push my head back into the coaster and not be injured. It is either horrid or in emergency level need of being calibrated. Someone is going to be in the hospital and they are going to be sued. They have already upped the height restrictions I assume as a result to 59 inches. Don’t go. It’s not fun. It’s not scary. It’s just painful and dangerous and absolutely irresponsible. We had a fun day at the other rides, but I would feel like a bad person knowing and letting anyone I loved go. Seriously that bad.

Oh. My. God. This is one of the best coasters on earth. the prelift isn’t to special, but in the back, the drop pulls you forward. And now, the lift hill. It’s not too loud, like other RMC coasters. It’s moderately fast, but it slows down at the top. And this is an AMAZING drop. It both pulls you forward AND has ejector airtime. The pullout and upwards twist into the outerbank are intense. This outerbank is great. It has good flojector airtime. And again, the pullout is intense. Then comes the Death Roll, a 540 ° downwards roll. It’s like the exit of the reverse cobra roll on Twisted Cyclone, but taken with much more speed. After the Death Roll, you hit an intense overbank that Bush Gardens thinks is an inversion. Next, you hit THE moment on Iron Gwazi, the wave turn. You get INTENSE sideways airtime from this. The whip into and out of it are teeming with laterals. On the exit of the wave turn, there is a crazy headchopper with the lift hill. The next airtime moment has nice airtime, then slams you with positives with the turn out of it. The second wave turn isn’t as good as the first, but still gives fantastic airtime. Next is the stall. The stall is a little short. I’d say this is the weakest part of Iron Gwazi. Then you hit a trick-track. Each hill giving great airtime. Then, the finale. This consists of an airtime hill and a crazy turn into the break run. The airtime hill has INSANE ejector airtime, and the turn has such crazy whip. That ends the 4,075 foot, 206 foot tall, 76 mph RMC masterpiece. When you’re on the transfer track, look up to the right, the old lion and tiger from the original Gwazi. 10/10

This coaster is the number one in this park. The steep Drops, airtime, and inversions is what makes this coaster good. I have to admit that the operations are bad, but that's not the coaster's fault. The coaster is just perfect!

A solid ride impulse is cool, but just kind of, there. Like it doesn't really fit in too well at knoebels nor is the ride all that creative or interesting, other than the 90 degree drop it feels generic like while designing the coaster they just tweaked a default design and called it a day. Nothing crazy just okay.

I'm not to sure what the hype around Phoenix is, its an okay wood coaster. I rode it once and it got stuck going up the lift hill twice as well as waiting at least 20 minutes of them cycling the carts around with nobody inside. I feel knoebels does great for a lot of rides, but not coasters.
