Airtimes First Drop Layout

Theming Smoothness Duration Capacity Harness
West Coast Racers is very fun and very long. Both sides could function as their own coaster. The pit stop is better than nothing, but unimpressive. This ride is not mind-blowing, but it is good. Comfort collars though, which don’t detract here like they do on other rides.

Smoothness
Speedy Gonzales is a generic Family Gravity coaster. No jank to it, which I think is a good thing.

Fun Capacity
It's good for what it is. Backwards ride is pretty fun too!

First Drop Fun Duration Dead spots
This coaster is ridiculously fun, with fantastic spinning and a fantastic duration. As others have said, this ride really DOES deliver until the very end. Only complaint: cut back on the block brakes! Sometimes it's a block, drop, another block. I get why they're there, as Chessington gets busy, as well as the coaster being the first thing you see walking in. At least they barely slow you down.

Nice surprise! Fun Duration Harness Dead spots Reliability
Vampire is a lot of fun, and a great fir for Chessington. It's very long, dashing through the woodlands is fun, and that final drop is incredible. The second half, though, is a little slow. The restraint isn't very fun either, it's on the bulkier side for sure. It's also not very reliable, but that's kind of expected for an Arrow coming up to it's 30th anniversary.

Location Fun Layout Harness
This coaster is ridiculously fun. The spinning is great every time, but it's just enough to not lose your lunch on. My main issue with the ride is the seatbelt; when I went to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and rode Ice Mountain, that doesn't have the extra seatbelt, and the airtime is ridiculous. Knowing the seatbelt isn't required, in my eyes, it just slows down operations.

First Drop Location Intensity Rattle Headbanging Discomfort
This is an odd one. While the coaster is quite intense, it can be difficult to enjoy it when your head is constantly being bounced around in the restraints. A very bad moment is the transition into the turn after the loop. It's a very hairpin transition and isn't pleasant. I think the trains could do with a refurbish. I did hear something about how the coaster needs OTSR's due to clearance issues, so perhaps adding padding to the restraints may make it a little more tolerable.

Airtimes First Drop Nice surprise! Too short Capacity Discomfort
This coaster is brilliant. The entire ride is just pure madness, and the first drop is fantastic. The main issue is it uses a system similar to the newer Vekoma SFC's when it comes to trains. There isn't really a brake run, the train just goes into the station. This means it physically cannot run 2 trains. Unfortunately to compensate the coaster is very short. But, because up until recently this was the park's signature attraction, they can't just have it do 2 circuits, or the queue would be too long. The trains are also quite small, which is a bit of an issue. Note, that the date is based on the year and month I rode it in. I don't remember the exact date
