I really like the pacing and the whip that this ride gives, and feel like it’s a solid addition to Busch Gardens, especially for the younger ones. Besides all of these things, there was nothing too special I found in the layout, so I can’t praise much.

Cheetah Hunt is honestly a hidden gem in Florida, and I find it to be more of a thrill coaster rather than the advertised “family coaster”. The launches are very great, but aren’t the highlight of the ride. There are a lot of solid moments of airtime, especially after the launches, and I don’t get why some people say this ride lacks airtime. I mean it has more airtime than Goliath at Magic Mountain, so that’s something right..? The airtime isn’t the strongest, but it’s still very enjoyable. Also I really love the scenery of this ride, I mean just going all over the park’s exhibits is just a real wonder, and it’s a very enjoyable and scenic ride. Also props to the staff at Busch Gardens, they were pumping out trains for this ride so quick, I was able to quickly get on the front row.

Montu has a really great whip that carries all throughout the layout, and especially on those inversions. The layout is very fun and intense, and the pace of this ride is very great. I really enjoyed this ride, and honestly my only complaints are the very slight rattle (which is expected of a rollercoaster as old as Montu), and the capacity, but those were very minor issues and didn’t really bother me much.

This is one of the smoother Skyrocket II clones I’ve ridden so far. The location is very nice and scenic, and provides some very nice views of the park and surrounding area. My main complaint with this ride is the very discomforting comfort collar, and the lack of theming. Also, the ride broke down for 15 minutes while we were waiting in line, but thankfully got back up and running and I got to ride in the front row.

I think my favorite part about this ride was the AC in the queue because DAMN it was very refreshing. Jokes aside, I found this ride to be really well themed and very quirky (especially the elevator lift). The ride is very smooth and fun, but there could’ve been a much longer layout and a couple of intense moments. Besides these complaints, the ride is very fun.

I really love Tatsu’s usage of the mountainside. Even though it’s only 170 ft tall, when you’re at the top of the lift it feels like you’re on a Giga due to the valley below. I also really enjoy the gracefulness of this ride, really feels like you’re riding a dragon high in the sky; that’s until the pretzel loop. That pretzel loop is just so batshit wild and intense, I really love the sustained force that you receive. I honestly think the pretzel loop is my favorite inversion of all time. So far I’ve only ridden this twice (once in the front), but I look forward to riding this more!

My first ever ride on Twisted Colossus was in the morning in the front, and it was the first ride of my day at Magic Mountain. By the time we had completed the first half, I already knew I loved this ride. The second half was just as fun and airtime filled, and I actually ended up getting a half duel (I forgot which half it was when we got the duel). Came back that night for another ride, and I got so lucky since I got to ride it in the front AGAIN! At night this coaster is just so much more fun and thrilling, I highly recommend for anyone visiting Magic Mountain. On my latest visit, I got to ride this in the back car, and the airtime you get while in the back is just absolutely insane and it makes for such a great ride (I didn’t get a duel this time though). My only complaint is that it rarely duels, but that doesn’t take up away from the great experience this coaster gives.
