Airtimes Pace Fun
Wooden Warrior takes a spot in my rankings usually reserved for rides of much bigger stature, if that tells you how good this was.
-
Airtimes First Drop Launch Rattle Reliability
I can’t wait for this ride to reopen, it’s one of the best coasters in NJ. Does have a slight rattle though.
-
Inversions Smoothness Layout
A true B&M dive, the best one and it definitely commands some respect in its prominent placement.
-
Intensity Ejectors Duration Capacity
Used to find this elite, but now i think it’s just a cool ride. I prefer Batwing and Wild One, but all by very close margins.
-
Airtimes Pace Intensity
One of the best classic woodies out there, this ride is not only airtime filled, it is intense and even has great laterals in the final helix.
-
First Drop Intensity Layout Reliability
Better than the SUF clones, super underrated and it maybe one of the best Vekomas in the US.
-
Airtimes First Drop Hangtime Too short
Great ride for its size, but ends just when it’s getting good. If it was longer would be one of the better RMCs.
-
Layout Ejectors Hangtime
Copperhead strike is my favorite ride at Carowinds, since Fury was closed for me. Great ride, really fits in a nice spot here. Honestly a personal favorite.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure - Universal Islands of Adventure
TheClassicRemake Man 3 months agoTheming Fun Smoothness
Hagrids is one of those rides that’s hard to classify as a coaster. It’s got so much and is such an immersive experience, i really can’t compare it to any other coaster.
-
Airtimes First Drop Lap Bar
Swamp Fox is a classic woodie that really defines the average out and back classic. Sure it’s not the greatest wood coaster ever, but for its size it packs a good punch.
-
Nice surprise! Smoothness Ejectors Capacity
As with everything at La Ronde, capacity is terrible. That said, this ride surprised me a lot, even though it’s a baby hyper it still hits on every single hill. I wish Candymonium was more like this.
-
Airtimes Capacity Ejectors
Behemoth is a solid 3rd best B&M hyper for me behind Goliath and Diamondback. Very intense and go getter but not rough like people say.
-
Airtimes First Drop Layout Lap Bar
STR is a great coaster, in my opinion it is better than Millie. Not my favorite ride but very solid and I like it more everytime I ride.
-
First Drop Inversions Ejectors Rattle Discomfort
Mine Blower is a ride that a lot of people hate that I love. I rode this when it was full wood and boy was it rough, but that layout made up for it. Can’t wait to ride again.
-
Airtimes First Drop Hangtime Dead spots
Great coaster. Great addition to Great Adventure and definitely not a disappointment to RMC. Not their best work but far from their worst.
-
Smoothness Layout Ejectors Capacity
Icebreaker is pretty underrated, probably my favorite Premier. I hoped they build more rides like this.
-
Airtimes Location Fun Dead spots
Raven is the 3rd five star woodie at this park. Still a very good ride, but doesn’t compare to the other 2.
-
Airtimes Location Layout
Definitely has a rattle but for this ride I think it adds or at least doesn’t hurt the ride. Wasn’t expecting to fall for a B&M hyper so much but here I am. Goliath has stolen this rides glory slightly but this is still a solid ride.
-
Airtimes Location Layout
Great ride, slightly overrated but not horrendously. I think this ride has a really good setting, maybe even better than Beast’s. The Titan track has made this ride extremely fast.
-
Airtimes Comfort Duration
The Cadillac of roller coasters, but not quite as good as Magnum. Still runs very good.
-
Location Intensity Duration Dead spots
The ride, the myth, the legend. Don’t expect a modern coaster, but expect a classic with one of the best helixes in the world.
-
Intensity Layout Ejectors
The best Goliath, hits all the right spots and is what a B&M hyper should strive to be.
-
Capacity Lap Bar Launch Theming
Pantheon is a ride that I do like, but don’t care for insanely much. It’s great for what it is and is a good fit for this park, but I don’t have any personal attachment to it. Compared to the park it’s in it doesn’t quite meet the theming standards.
-
First Drop Layout Ejectors
Storm Chaser is a toss up with Lightning Run for best in the park, personally i think Lightning Run takes it but this ride is still a very good coaster, on the lower end of mid level RMCs for me.
-
Pace Intensity Ejectors Lap Bar
Lightning Run is a ride that if you closed your eyes, you would think was an RMC. Very ejector filled layout and is in my opinion the best ride at this park.
-
Airtimes Fun Layout
Thunderhead is a killer GCI, and the pinnacle of Mike Boodley as a designer. His magnum opus, is this wooden terrain coaster that holds pacing very well into the ride. The best ride at Dollywood, even when Lightning Rod was launched.
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity Rattle
Outlaw Run is an underrated RMC, not quite a top contender but still pretty healthy in the middle of the pack. Packs quite a punch with both airtime and intensity with a slight rattle honestly not affecting the ride much.
-
Airtimes Intensity Layout
Legend is a world class woodie that unfortunately gets overshadowed by its Thanksgiving themed neighbor. If Voyage wasn’t there, this ride would be the rave not only of Holiday World but of the Midwest. Some of the best laterals in the country, with some great airtime complimenting.
-
Airtimes Layout Duration
Prowler is a token GCI, and one that i think pretty much shares the crown with Mystic Timbers. Lots of variety, more than Mystic, but Mystic has better airtime. Still a world class woodie.
-
Fun Layout Ejectors Too short
This ride is one that is a solid top ride at this park. While it could be longer, it does great with what it has and doesn’t let up.
