    Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Discomfort

El Toro is known to be the best wooden roller coaster in the world right now according to the golden ticket awards. To me, El Toro is perfect, besides it’s intensity. It’s speed and airtime are so extreme, that you’ll get a slight beating depending on where you sit. I sat in the very back and on the second hill, I banged my head on the back of the train. That doesn’t mean that wherever you sit, you’ll get a rough ride. It just means that if you sit more towards the front you’ll have a perfect experience on this amazing coaster. El Toro is perfect in its airtime, speed, turns, and theming.

Airtimes First Drop Fun Capacity Harness Discomfort

I know very well that Maverick at Cedar Point is a fan favorite. It’s fast, has a steep drop, and has lots of airtime. Maverick is one of my favorites at cedar point because of its setting and speed mostly. It’s setting is based on western theming and contains lots of rocky terrain and water. My favorite parts are when you pass over the water and it shoots up as you fly by. Also, when you take a brief stop under the loading station, where it launches you faster than it did up the lift. Maverick to me, is enjoyable, but is not that type of coaster where you would put your hands up and have fun. Because of its speed and turns, if you were to put your hands up, it would be a rough ride. It’s not the ride’s fault that it’s rough, it’s the harnesses. The harnesses are not that secure at all, and your body flops around if your not holding on. So I suggest, if you wanna enjoy Maverick, sit either very close to the front or very close to the back and hold on!

First Drop Capacity Location Harness Discomfort Airtimes

Gatekeeper is known to be a popular ride at cedar point, but not a favorite. Many people have different opinions about this ride, but I’m gonna give my own. The layout is pretty cool and stuff, having the head of some mystic bird on the front of the train and going through the gates at the entrance of the park. My favorite part about the ride is the first drop. The first drop has a little inversion before it plummets down at a fast speed. The inversions of this coaster are kinda slow and long compared to other coasters and I suggest that people who get dizzy easily when it comes to inversions should not ride. The restraints on this coaster are very unusual and are very tight, which makes it uncomfortable. Also, you will barely see the track at all if you don’t sit in the front, so it’ll be a blind ride most of the time. Lastly, after the inversions, the ride will come to a brake and will have an unreasonable ending to it. Going in a circle very slowly, probably just to give it more length.

First Drop Fun Theming Harness Airtimes

Valravn is known to be the biggest dive coaster in the world right now besides Yukon Striker opening in 2019 at Canada’s Wonderland. Besides it’s massiveness, it is very disappointing according to most people who ride it. The best part about this ride is when you hang over the drop before you plummet down. Also, those big immelmann inversions gives the ride a little life to it and it’s incredible speed for such a monstrous coaster. There are many cons to this ride which makes it disappointing. First of all, this ride has no airtime. Second of all, it rattles quite a lot. Third, it has the same inversions over and over again. Fourth, the theming is horrible and no one knows what it’s supposed to be. Fifth, it has an unreasonable brake in the middle to make it feel like your gonna stop at the edge of the drop again, which slows it down. And fifth, it’s restraints are exactly like gatekeeper’s, tight and uncomfortable.

Airtimes First Drop Duration Rattle Discomfort Reliability

Magnum XL-200 was the first hyper coaster ever made. In other words, the first coaster to reach past 200 feet tall. It opened decades ago in the 70’s and it’s tracks have not been replaced yet, not like Kennywood’s legendary airtime coaster Phantom’s Revenge. Because of its elderly state, this ride will try to throw you out of its seats like your bull riding. It’s very rough, but not as rough as Blue Streak. It’s speed will make your legs bang around and your neck and back will get a few beatings while riding. This thing just doesn't stop dropping because of its intense hills and incredible speeds. I do like the drop and the tunnels that it travels through on the way back, but it is a rattling and rough experience.

    Airtimes First Drop Smoothness

To be truly honest, whenever I visit Orlando, this is the coaster I'm begging to ride every time. This coaster is beautifully built with a perfect tall drop (not too high), amazing twists and turns, the speed is fast and enjoyable, and is as smooth as a coaster can possibly get. What's even better about it is that its harnesses allow you to experience some long airtimes and feel comfortable and secure. The theming is pretty decent along with it's setting being along a small lake to give you that feeling of swimming like the Mako shark, Aka. the fastest breed of shark. If you plan on visiting SeaWorld, I suggest you take a quick visit to this amazing masterpiece of a roller coaster. When you see it, don't be afraid of its height, but be excited instead to know that you're going to be able to ride to the best roller coaster in all of Orlando. This coaster will not let your hopes down and will turn your day into an exciting, adventurous one, just like what happened to mine. Not only is there this coaster at the park but two other superior coasters that won't hurt to try out as well.

    First Drop Comfort Harness Reliability

This coaster is one of my favorite rides at cedar point and one of my favorite out of all the roller coasters I’ve ridden. The lift hill is very intimidating, but after the drop, it’s speed is so fast that tears are forced out of your eyes. I was surprised by the amount of smoothness it had and also how it’s such a long Coaster, but it goes by very fast. This coaster is so fun and legendary. I recommend for a lot of people, if they visit cedar point, to ride this last. I recommend this because you won’t be as scarred because you’ve probably ridden other tall roller coasters like Magnum, so this wouldn’t be a big deal.

    Launch Layout Rattle Theming Harness

Kingda Ka is the tallest roller coaster in the world right now. Just because it’s the tallest doesn’t mean it’s the best. This ride has a lot of cons. Let me start with the pros first. The launch is incredibly fast and amazing. Also you get a perfect view of everything as you slowly make it over the top hill. The drop has the usual twist in it as you plummet down at speeds past 100mph. This ride has many cons. First, it’s harnesses are uncomfortable and you won’t be able to put your hands up. And as you come back down, it will crush your thighs as it tightens because of the speed. This is why Cedar Point’s, Top Thrill Dragster, is better because its harnesses are lap bars and are more comfortable for being the second tallest roller coaster in the world which I’ve been on as well. Second, the launch is insanely rough. Third, the theming is horrible and I still don’t know what it’s supposed to represent. Fourth, it’s location is secluded, by trees and fences, so you’ll only be able to see it’s true height, and not the launch. On Top Thrill Dragster, there are bleachers located right next to the launch so you’ll be able to see its incredible speed as it heads up the hill. And fifth, if you sit in the back or close to the back, get prepared for the worst migraine of your life. So I suggest you sit in the front.

    Location Launch Intensity Too short

Top Thrill Dragster is the best coaster of its kind. This coaster is amazingly smooth, fast, and surprisingly comfortable. What also makes this launch coaster amazing are the lap bars. It is comfortable and allows you to enjoy your ride by putting your hands up. To me, it is pretty short, but that’s how all those types of roller coasters have to be made because of its speed. What surprised me the most was how it was so much more faster than I expected. Top Thrill Dragster, is a fun, adrenaline rushing coaster, that’ll leave you breathless.

    Inversions Comfort Layout Rattle

Raptor at Cedar Point is a very fun and incredible inverted coaster. I was surprised by the amount of smoothness it had and there was no head banging. Raptor, does have a rough ending, but to me, is an enjoyable ride.

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity

Steel Vengeance by far is my favorite ride at cedar point and the best roller coaster I’ve ever ridden. It has everything a coaster enthusiast could ask for. The best part is the airtime. I’ve never experienced longer airtime on any other coaster that I’ve ridden. The intensity is unbearable as well. This is the reason that they don’t allow you to bring on any extra items including phones onto this ride. Still, people go against this rule, and don’t realize the extreme intensity this coaster has. From my opinion, the drop is very steep and scary for a lot of people when they look at it. Also, this ride does not have any breaks halfway through, so don’t expect it to slow down any time sooner like Millennium Force. Steel vengeance barely has any cons besides it’s restraints. If you’re pretty tall, the leg restraints that hold your legs down because of inversions will hurt. So I suggest you sit in a comfortable position before the workers push the lap bar down for you because your not allowed to do it yourself.
