It has been a while since I've gone on Nemesis, due to it's re-tracking and refurb, and i was worried it wouldn't live up to what it was in my head. You'll be glad to know this isn't the case.
Still my favourite ride at Alton Towers and in the UK. The pacing for such a short ride is just perfect, growing in intensity until it hits its lowest point over half way through the ride. All the elements are just so tight it makes Nemesis Reborn so intense, whippy and enjoyable. The ride is the most intense at the back, being pulled through everything at speed, but the front gives it a run for its money with how quickly you enter those elements, with the added bonus of seeing all the gaps and rockwork you're soaring through.
The updated theming is just an added extra and looks super fresh, however I do worry that it won't age that well, similar to how The Smiler is looking now. Beyond impressive that the layout of a ride built in 1994 is still competing with most modern coasters.

Probably one of the most impressive rides that exists in terms of what they manage to fit in in such a small space. However I think the ride isn't nearly as fun or intense as it should be on paper. Most the inversions feel very similar to each other, and when my favourite part of a ride with 14 inversions is the two small airtime hills, that's a problem. It's aging badly with multiple uncomfortable jolts throughout and has multiple theming elements that are damaged or just not working. This ride really needs some love. It's length is great, the drop into its first inversion out of the station is probably my favourite one, followed by the rolling drops after each chain hill. Still an amazing one of a kind ride but has too many issues to ignore. I have lowered my rating from 4 star to 3 and a half.

By no means is this ride really rough or anything, but It absolutely baffles me that a brand new B&M has this much rattle, makes me nervous about the Nemesis re-tracking. Theming is decent, backwards spike is fun at the back, launch through the station is cool, but overall the ride is a borefest. Also somehow the restraints were really un-comfy on my collar bones despite being the same as The Swarm which I find very comfy.

This ride isn't really about spinning, or the launch, or the drop, or airtime (even though the ejector is great). It's about taking a mix of classic and unique elements in positions you never will have before. Every ride is different and you keep going back to get that "perfect" one. Honestly a groundbreaking innovation for coasters.

Went back to this park just to ride this before the new trains got put in, it was closed all day. Went back a month later, got on it, it was terrible. Super rough and not that exciting, was interesting being stood up though as i've never been on a stand up. Very excited to see how modern trains improve this ride though. Can all headbang central coasters be fixed by lap bars? We'll see.

I can confidently say in my opinion, this is the best themed ride in the world. I have seen nothing in real life or on videos that even comes close to this. The area this coaster flies around is phenomenal. The coaster unfortunately just lacks intensity or interest in the layout and I'm really not a fan of the riding position you're in, I find it more uncomfortable than B&M Flying Coasters. a couple nice pops of air time at the front, the loading on system is really cool and practical, the rolls are fun, the way it weaves around the surroundings is sick, impressive coaster.

Stunning ride that doesn't have a single dull moment, with everything being so tight and close you really feel the speed. Theming is just next level. The music leading into silence before the first launch really builds the tension. Super long, super smooth, super whippy, I have too many good things to say about this ride.

The launch feels like a slingshot, you pick a lot of speed up in such a short amount of time which makes for a really fun start to the ride. Everything until the trim break is fast and whippy, with one element that took me by surprise.
The house the station resides in is really cool and Anubis is surprisingly smooth, but is let down by nasty over the shoulder restraints that despite it's smoothness, caused a lot of discomfort for the people i went with who experienced headbanging and shoulder pain.
everything after the trim break is pointless and slow, and the final roll only there to cause more discomfort for people that are on the shorter side.
