¡Buena sorpresa! Fun Suavidad

Une vraie surprise ! Malgré son très vieil âge, ce coaster se défend très bien : il est d’une douceur imbattable et les airtimes sont très surprenants. C’est une vraie partie de fous rires, le tout autour d’une belle théma et d’un cachet unique qui construisent sa légende.

Avalon est probablement la plus belle zone parmis tous les parcs européens que j'ai visité (y compris phantasialand selon moi). Au cœur de cette zone trône le majestueux Fenix. On peut observer l'élégance de ce B&M depuis les allées, le restaurant, Merlin Quest ou bien les 3 à la fois (croyez moi il n'y a pas de mauvais choix). La file d'attente rappelle celle de Wodan avec une théma très sympa à l'intérieur et quelques passages à l'extérieur pour profiter de la nature et du beau wing coaster qui vous attend. On embarque ensuite d'un coté ou de l'autre ( privilégiez l'aile gauche pour profiter à fond de la drop), on admire un animatronics de dragon entouré de fumée et c'est parti. La first drop signature des wing coasters est bonne et immédiatement suivie par le meilleur moment du coaster : un airtime peu puissant (floater) mais très long qui donne une impression de voler beaucoup plus longtemps qu'on n'aurait pu l'imaginer en regardant l'ONride. La suite du layout contient plusieurs inversions au dessus de l'eau et une helix qui contredira tous les préjugés sur les wing coasters en vous plaquant à votre siège tel un bon B&M forceful. Les seuls reproches que je puisse trouver concernent la longueur en peu modeste du coaster et le nombre trop faible d'interactions avec les décors (seulement 2 near miss éléments, c'est peu pour un wing coaster), mais sortir d'un coaster en voulant y retourner immédiatement pour prolonger l'expérience, c'est plutôt bon signe ! Fenix porte donc parfaitement le nom de 'chef d'œuvre', surtout si l'on considère le rendu global de la zone Avalon. Toverland, vous m'avez bluffé !

This ride is honestly a delight. Such a stunning location, along with it being a super long ride, filled with fun, janky turns, and some really great airtime moments! The restraints are glorious for airtime and lats, along with a stunning night ride.

I am not really into wooden (except RMC) coasters, due to the rattling and shaking. However, this one is exceptional. The sight of the rollercoaster is impressive. Especially the first drop with the curve to the left looks awesome. The theme music really gives this coaster a one of a kind feeling. Well done to that. Small detail is I adore that the train passes through the loading station right above the stationary train. The rumbling and shaking is monstrous and gives me goosebumps. After the initial drop it stays quite low to the ground and therefore has this fantastic pace with all the banking left and right, making it a intensen ride too.

Launch Obra maestra Ejectors

What-a-beast. This proves a rollercoaster does not have to be high or whatsoever. The theming is outstanding first of all! The ride, suprises, launches, just everything is so well done. The music really warms you up for what is coming. And then the (first) launch. Great views, excellent power and the following upwards hill never bores me. Neither does the rest of the ride. You just rush in and around this Scandianvian style village and the track is rarely flat out. The ride wants to keep ejecting you. And then came the second launch. Lurking around the corner and oh my, this just gets me smiling every time I get on it. After this insane launch and sound effect (magnets vibrating?) it reaches its highest point on top of the basalt looking mountain. And it just goes and goes and goes. No moment of rest throughout the ride. I love it and it is worth travelling for together with all the other things this parc has to offer.

Airtimes Comodidad Suavidad Demasiado corto

It has the smoothness of a typical B&M coaster, yet does give some substantial forces in the hills and helix. It did suprise me. Especially the first hill after the first drop gives there nice g-forces when you duck under the bridge. Same for the helix, superb. Yes it is kind of short, but what do you expect from a parc that started out as a indoor playground not so long ago. There is a great potential here.

Compared to the park itself its an outstanding addition. The colour theme is well done and the theming around the coaster is fine. The choice of having the first launch front or backwards is awesome. At the time of my visit the front or back launch was not random anymore. Front gives the view and sensation of height, while backwards gives more of a thrill. The coaster is clearly built to go forwards, though I prefer going backwards as fanatic. That being said, the coaster does not give the 'wow' feeling at any given point. The so called dead spots. It was disappointing.

Un coaster qui m'a très agréablement surpris lors de mon trip aux pays-bas. Une bonne intensité et une fluidité remarquable pour un spinning coaster. Rajoutez à cela une belle file d'attente et une musique embarquée signée Imascore et on obtient l'un des meilleurs family coasters au monde ! C'est sûrement l'un des coasters les plus fun que j'ai ridé, et il satisfait aussi bien les familles que les coaster-fan. Après avoir conçus Dwervelwind, il ne fait nul doute que Mack est capable de construire d'excellentes machines avec ce modèle. Ride To Happiness en est le parfait exemple !
