Definitely rough and nothing much but i actually had a lot of fun on it. I dont know if its only because my and my family started dying laughing after the first drop for some reason but I really had a lot of fun. Thought it was THAT rough either, maybe its just because I'm on the younger side but c'mon, most woodies are worse than that. Also the corkscrews are just iconic to look at.

This really surprised me. I thought I would have a headache for the next half hour after riding this coaster. Nope. That wasn’t the case at all. It was still rough, especially on the corkscrews, but not nearly enough to not enjoy the ride. The loop was fun and smooth. Overall this is a pretty good coaster.

This one was a lot better than I expected it to be. It surprisingly wasn't rough at all and seemed like a smoother Arrow coaster compared to the rough headbangers I've experienced. Unfortunately it is very short but it must have been ahead of its time to come out in 1976. It's also located right in the heart of the park which is quite nice but I wonder if it's the next coaster on the chopping block. 3/5 stars

The harness was so small (not high enough) that i had to slide down on the seat a bit. The problem with that is that i rode the whole thing with my back bent, so all the shocks were absorbed by my back. Which hurt a bit, bit what's worse is that i was constantly afraid of some big shock or g-force that would break or at least injure my back. I should probably have gotten out when the harness didn't fit well enough. Without this issue it would probably have been a somewhat decent ride.

This is NOT a smooth ride, but thanks to being on the smaller side of Arrow loopers, it’s not all THAT bad. The ride has a surprising bite to it for being a very early iteration of the Arrow looper. The first element is a rather good airtime hill, which leads immediately into a vertical loop. The bottom of the loop is actually very intense in positive g-forces, but also a bit rough. After this point, there’s a piece of flat track and then a turning drop into the iconic double corkscrew. This is where most of the headbanging occurs, but it is also an iconic centerpiece of Cedar Point.

I was very skeptical about how much of an awful reputation this ride had, I rode this in the rain with the wind pushing against my face, all I have to say is that it wasn't as rough and painful as people say it is, I actually thought it was smooth, the airtime hill before the loop caught me off gaurd but the ride is boring. I guess since this rid is turning 50 next year it has stood the test of time, but we may not have to see this ride around much longer.

I should be screaming “HELL YEAH!” On a coaster not “OWOWOWOW FUCK OW” - which happened both times, because I was forced on it a second time. It’s pretty to look at though, interesting to see up close. Got some photos of it

Very rough and outdated coaster nowadays, but still worth riding for its history alone since it was the first one to have three inversions. I heard rumors that CP may tear this thing down for a new ride in the future. If that happens, I hope they keep the original two corkscrews in place (just like what Alton Towers did) because it's such a iconic photo op spot.

Honestly, this has a decent layout. I get that it's janky, but that just makes you love it more, and wouldn't really be a problem except for the restraints. I've ridden Tennessee Tornado & Carolina Cyclone, and those handle their restraints and leg room SO much better. If Top Thrill 2 re-opens and this sticks around, I'd say new trains & marketing for this in 2026. This pulls the image of a classic looper well, and Cedar Point needs to use that.

I really want to like old Arrows. I really do, but I just hate Corkscrew. It is awful and painful throughout the entire layout and has no saving grace. I normally like Arrow first drops, but this one was really to short to offer any airtime. As soon as the train hits the bottom of the first drop, a painful sort of wobble starts with the train rocking (or shaking, depending on the speed) back and forth. This continues throughout the ride. I usually like Arrow loops, but the one on Corkscrew isn't memorable. All the horizontal transitions are painful. I understand and usually even appreciate Arrow jank, but these transitions aren't enjoyable in any way. They just hurt. I'm tall enough to where I can't headbang in Arrow OTSRs, but it still hurts. The transition into the corkscrews is even worse. I feel like I'm trying to be ejected sideways out of the train. The final brake run is the best part because that means this no-good horrible awful experience is over. I really don't understand how this can be so bad though. It really should just be Carolina Cyclone with an airtime hill instead of a loop and no extra helix. I like that ride, but this one is just awful. I can't give it the "Tear it down!" tag because of its historical significance, but you also can't really eliminate the pain without compromising the history. I really don't know what to do with this one…

Meh, it’s alright. Looks gorgeous over the midway, although you see the corkscrews and from certain views see people banging their head around. Anyways, for some reason when I went on they blocked off the 2 middle cars. There was a somewhat decent wait, so I don’t know why they only had 67% of the train going. On the actual ride, the first drop isn’t noteworthy. Apparently it can have airtime, but I was towards the front and felt nothing. Then comes the airtime hill. You hit your back against the hard seat multiple times, it HURTS. Good thing about it, there’s airtime. Rest of this ride is literally steamin demon except slightly more painful loop and slightly less painful corkscrews, although they still hurt. Anyways, it’s rough and painful, but it’s pretty forceful throughout the ride, so it gets a middle of the road rating.

This is probably the only ride at Cedar Point that I would call bad. I was actually astonished at how much worse this was than Carolina Cyclone, a ride that one would think would be pretty similar. For some reason Corkscrew's loop felt much weaker than Cyclone's and the transitions were somehow even jankier and more painful. It doesn't exactly seem to sit on prime real estate, so I can sort of understand why it's survived for so long, but it is definitely an outlier in Cedar Point's overall phenomenal coaster lineup. 3/10 - it really is an impressive feat to be the worst Arrow at a park with 5 of them

The only reason I want this ride to remain is those corkscrews over the midway. They are iconic and beautiful, and I still love walking under them while trains go twisting overhead. The ride itself has no redeeming factors though, and is completely obsolete in Cedar Point's otherwise stellar lineup.
