Situation Intensité Layout Vibrations Inconfort

This used to be my barometer for a fun, intense woody. That was many years ago. It was always a bit bouncy and jolting--you're on a woody doing 60+ MPH through turns, that is to be expected. It used to be thrilling. It hasn't aged well. The helix at the end used to be amazing--better than The Beast's famous helix, but the last 10 years of its existence, it was very, very rough. So rough they removed it entirely a few years back. The last time I rode this about 4-5 years ago, was the last time I will ride it until major renovations are done. It isn't the roughest or worst I have ever ridden, but it is no where near smooth or comfortable. Again, you are getting beat up at over 60+mph for much of it. I don't know of another coaster right now that could use the RMC treatment more than this. It is huge, it is fast, and there is plenty of ground around it to work with.

Bonne suprise ! Layout

何処とは言わないが一箇所、「普通のドロップと見せかけて、実は多段落とし」というちょっとした仕掛けがある。ネタバレになっちゃうけど「なんか途中にえらく処理の甘いところがあってさ～」なんて勘違いされると困るんで。

Airtimes Confort Longueur

Rode in rows 3 and 7 on the staggered seats. I was surprised that the floater airtime was strong and sustained everywhere. Every hill delivers, and it never felt slow over the hills like I feared it would with a long train. The turnaround felt really fast as well. The layout is excellent for airtime, but not overkill. Also, this is placed beautifully in the park. Being able to walk under the drop is so cool.

Longueur Sans intérêt

Felt like a pointless ride without theming. I have to admit tho, that I have rode it before the recent VR Update.

Débit Fun Intensité Vibrations Inconfort

It´s a fun rollercoaster for sure, but as a tall person I felt quite uncomfortable, as my shin always hit against the edge of the train. Despite this, I´ll always come back for the queue music!

Airtimes First Drop Layout Temps mort

こいつの本当に凄いところはズバリ、ファーストドロップ。これだけの落差を、旧式のPTCトレインで、ここまで淀みなく落ちきれる木製コースターというのもそうはない。途中で捻りが入るのがミソ。

Airtimes Launch Layout Inconfort Lap Bar

Good ride with great airtime. The hills between the launches give great airtime and the spike is super cool. The top hat is whippy and full of air as well. The hill following is also full of airtime and the turnaround has some good whip. The last few hills all deliver ejector. I just wish this didn't have those awful premier trains. Good ride but uncomfortable.

We went here second right after Xcelerator. There was absolutely no one in line. I think we rode it 8 times in a row. I really like the straight up and the more than straight back down. All of the inverts work and the pacing keeps you scrambled up internally from beginning to end. It remains smooth throughout. Great compact coaster.

My favorite B&M invert. Raptor and Banshee are both great, as is Silver Bullet, but this wins. I like the batwing more than the cobra roll on Raptor. Plus the theming and troughs it passes you through put it on top for me.

Théma Longueur Vibrations

Generally fun but unremarkable, but easily the best theming of any coaster at Magic Mountain. The queue is much more enjoyable than most here - even the brand new West Coast Racers. Other than that there's some fun moments but nothing to write home about. 03-22-22 re-ride: Okay, just rode this again with a full train on a hot day and it was HAULING ass. Literally felt like we were going faster than Escape from Krypton (though I know that wasn't happening). I definitely have a newfound love for this coaster now that I've ridden it at it's peak performance. Put some lights in the effin' queue though.
