Bonne suprise ! Fun Fluidité Débit

Based on my previous experience with Vekoma inverted rollercoaster (SLC), this thing was a really nice surprise! It is nicely themed and equipped with great sits with no handles. It changed a lot from my last ride two years ago - now there is water below the track, which makes the ride even better. After reaching the top, you've experienced really nice first drop from decent height directly into the dragon mouth which is followed by fantastic right turn - this is really good start. Remaining part of the track is also very intense, going above the station and close to the ground. The ride is perfectly smooth up to last two corners, where suddenly become quite jolty. Except from this (and the capacity - only 1 train, queues are very long) Dragon is great family coaster, with plenty of action. In my opinion - much better choice than Mayan.

Jokes aside, while this is still a very fun coaster, I really think it could've been a lot better. This fits better as an indoor coaster as how it used to be, and just standing there out in the open doesn't fit the park at all. While the helixes are decent fun, the dead spot is where it just rolls along straight track while banked 30 degrees to the left. Compared to the other coasters at Thorpe now, it doesn't even try with theming either. It's unfortunate, and could be a lot better. Though I'd prefer Thorpe to invest in a new family coaster instead now so this park is no longer the most "top-heavy" park in the world.

I went on this ride while it was poring rain. It was really fun and a very smooth ride.

Nice crazy mouse type of ride, got lucky enough to get some crazy amount of free spinning.

Théma Launch Longueur Airtimes Fiabilité

A masterpiece especially in the front. The best LSM launch i have experienced its getting close to hydrolics. Theming is great, soundtrack is good and the ride looks amazing. Lots of rapid transitions, but a shame the air time hills got trims on Them. Also surfers with downtime.

Vitesse Intensité Fluidité

My expectations for my first Vekoma STC skyrocketed after I got to ride Lech Coaster at Legendia a few weeks ago but even though had high expectations, the STC delivered. It was way more intense than I expected, the ride had strong positives, the inversions had some nice whip and the floater airtime on an invert was unique and a nice contrast to the positive forces. The ride experience is fantastic in every seat (back being a bit more intense) and the ride keeps the intensity up from the first drop all the way to the final brake run. The first drop feels great in the back (better than expected). The only negative point that I can give the ride is that the restraint does come down during the ride. It does not compromise the ride experience much since tha lap bar is very comfy but it's still not a pleasant sensation to have the lap bar come down.

Fun

I did not like this ride at first but during my second visit i got to appreciate this wing coaster a lot. It may not be as smooth as some newer installations but its still a fun one with some phenomenal 0g rolls and a fantastic dive drop (especially in the back row)

First Drop Théma Trop court Temps mort

This ride is more a water attraction than a traditional rollercoaster, so the main aspects are alright: The big drop is fun and splashdown can get pretty wet, but the small predrop-thingy facing backwards feels rather pointless. On hot summer days, Atlantica is refreshing, but often accompained with long lines compared to a rather short ride.

Théma Longueur Vibrations Inconfort

This ride is fairly long, but as a result, the queue is often also. The attraction itself and the theming look pretty nice, but the coaster part is a little disappointing: it is not really exciting and it's quite rough. The second part without those curves is more comfortable, and after this, you may get really wet. The rest of the ride is more a relaxed boat ride, which is a nice change to the faster sections.

Débit Bonne suprise ! Layout Airtimes

Vraiment très bonne surprise que le parc Astérix a proposé, avec un débit exceptionnelle, juste le meilleur que j'ai jamais vu. Avec 4 trains sur le track les 45min inscrite à l'entrée se transforme en 20min. Sur le layout rien à redire, la première partie du launch au lift est très classe avec des éléments bien serrés, la partie en back est très intense pour un family, et les camel et autre bosses sont passé sans airtimes c'est un peu frustrant mais c'est justifié par le fait que c'est un family et que ce n'est pas le but premier de procurer des sensations comme les airtimes. seul petit point négatif, c'est le deuxième lift qui est un peu brutal sur l'arriver surtout au first row alors qu'en back on ressent moins.
