I do not care for this. My crotch also didn't care for this ride. It feels like a flat ride. Nope...not for me.

  • IronChef C.

This is a rollercoaster. It is wooden. It is smooth and boring. Im not sure what the point of it is. Please do something with it. Why retrack it? I dont understand what's happening here. It'd be better if it was rough. It'd be better if it was worse. Thats right, I know what I just said. Remember the talent show in What Hot American Summer? "Do something or get the f*** off the stage!"

  • IronChef C.

Its different. You should ride it for no other reason than that. Its uncomfortable and on a sunny day, those lift hills and brake runs are tough, but I found it to have some enjoyable spots, especially during the sweeps near the ground. Its interesting but not as good as a B&M flyer. Worth a try though.

  • IronChef C.

We all know its good. If you like RMC, this is like their greatest hits ride. It has some of everything they're known for. It warms up as the day goes on, it is best in the back, the wave turn is the highlight for me, the way it weaves through the structure is amazing, and the operations are outstanding. If there's a downside, its those RMC restraints which can ruin some rides for folks. I think I've mostly figured them out, but they aren't the most comfortable. It sits as my #1 but its really close. Fury 325 at night gave me the most fun I've ever had on a coaster, but SteVe is easily the best coaster. Its tricky. I had tons of fun on SteVe but on Fury, those clamshells are so freeing and give the beat rides. So close between them. And if I'm really trying to find a con, theres some themeing to it that could have been better executed. The story and names are cool, but the voice overs and cartoon characters are a bit lame.

    First Drop Situation Intensité

So far, my favorite invert by quite alot. Its massive, well themed, intense, and really fun. I prefer front row because it feels faster and smoother whereas back row is more intense and whippy. Great night rides on this thing because of the great location in the trees. One of my favorite first drops around. The cobra roll is always bonkerz-level intense, so be sure to brace yourself coming out of the tunnel on the way up. Headbanging has never been an issue for me on it either. Updated: after riding 6 inverts, none have come close to Alpie. Its size and location are its strengths and I've yet to ride an invert that gives a better night front row ride. Yes, it meanders some towards the end but they all seem to do that.

    Fun

I always knew I liked Griffon. Its one my most ridden coasters having marathon'd the beast several times over the past few years, but it seems to be getting better. After riding Valravn on a friday and following it up with Griffon the next day I realized what many have said to be true; Griffon is the superior dive machine, and im sure its sibling in Florida is very similar. Griffon does everything a dive should do and has plenty of air, smoothness, perfect retraints, and is a real looker. Its just so simple and so good.

    Airtimes Situation Confort

A masterpiece. I'm biased because this got me into coasters and have had some extremely memorable rides on it, but it really holds up as one of the better hypers. It has a very simple layout but adding in the perfect location, amazing night rides, and exceptionally bonkerz floater airtime makes it a classic. Combine loose restraints and back row endseats and you're in for some great air flying through the trees and over water.

  • IronChef C.

I'd rather tell you not to ride this, but if you're a credit junkie...it sucks. I feel bad that kids ride it because it may completely ruin coasters for them, Its wildly boring, uncomfortable and pointless. It's taking up room in the park that could be better spent for a drink stand, restroom, dumpster, or just empty land. As of this review, it currently sits at #896 in the world. Thats way too high.

  • IronChef C.

    Situation Vitesse Layout

Definitely a top tier invert. Really different than the others I've been on. Has a great pace and throws elements at you in a unique way and that loop is very whippy. Beautiful location as well.

  • IronChef C.

    Airtimes Débit Confort

Had maybe 5 or 6 rides on it. Preferred front row surprisingly. As with all B&M hypers its a capacity machine, reliable, comfortable and gives a great ride. Fits the park perfectly and sits in a great location. Layout is good, airtime is great, theming is fine for the park its in. Really no negatives. I didnt think the trims hit that hard either. Ill compare it to other hypers bc thats what most folks do...I'd say its my 2nd favorite out of the 4 I've currently ridden; beats Goliath bc its smoother and newer (im sure Goliath was a monster in its day), beats Intimidator because it had better floater and a better layout but Apollo beats it for me bc Apollo's finale and setting are fantastic. Its a great ride and is exactly what the park needed to compliment Skyrush's insanity.

  • IronChef C.

    Inversions Vitesse Intensité

Love the theme. Now, to grade an invert...intensity is solid, the size makes it nice and compact in places but not too compact like Batman. Carries the speed really well and the ride sprawls out over its park location nicely. First drop is good and inversions feel appropriately whippy. The loop was pretty tight, and the rolls were smooth and fast. No head banging, no discomfort even though you get that typical invert bonkerz level intensity. Prefer the front on inverts but the back on this thing was really good as well.

    Ejectors

Don't skip. In my mid 30s and having discovered a love of coasters...my mortality has kicked in. I wont live forever. Thus, I realize time is prescious and perhaps skipping "kiddie" or "junior coasters" in favor of rerides on the great Phoenix or even better "Twister" are preferred options and are weighed thoughts during a park visit. This purple mess of steel however, looked like it showed promise and low and behold, it did not let me down. Major pops of air on a 3 lap romp that left me thinking that upon my death bed, I will not regret the decision I made on this day. For Kosmo's Kurves is a truly remarkable junior coaster and a must ride for all. All hail the king of the kiddies.

  • IronChef C.

A solid gut buster if you're an adult. Could lead to a nice poop or knock a kidney stone loose like any good kiddie coaster should for an adult chasing credits. Preferable over Mind Eraser.

  • IronChef C.

    Baffes Harnais Inconfort

this is technically a rollercoaster. It is awful. Is it me or does vekoma create an amazing layout and then find the worst trains/restraints/parts and somehow create the worst rides? How is this possible? How did it continue happening? Its baffling. Did vekoma start out as a torture device company and stumble into amusement park rides accidently? Stupid ride.

  • IronChef C.

    Bonne suprise ! Layout

I liked it. The layout was really interesting, good length, pops of air, and has good laterals. Nothing great, but everything is good. Definitely not a ride to skip at the park. I should have reridden it and tried different seats to find the sweat spot bc this one seems like it has a magic seat there somewhere. Another one I hope SFA can maintain and keep it going properly. A middle of the pack but with tons of potential woodie. Not even close to an "rmc it!" type ride. Keep it the way it is and maintain it. Solid.

  • IronChef C.

    Launch Layout

Solid. Good launch, good layout, good intensity. It does what it should. SFA needs to show it some love and get it cleaned up bc it might be the most solid ride at the park honestly.

  • IronChef C.

    Baffes Layout

Headbanging the ride. By far the worst floorless I've ridden. Just not a fun coaster. Looks great and the fire effect worked. Its just a really lazy transition to a floorless.

  • IronChef C.

    Longueur Vibrations

Front row and do your best not to be stapled. I'd imagine this is the best way to go. The restrains aren't the best but if you can manage some breathing room you'll get some good airtime and there's minimal rattle in the front leading to a pretty solid ride overall. Very nice views from the front as well. I back row-ed it too and found it very disappointing with the exception of the last few airtime hills. Maintenance hasn't been kind to this one i'd guess.

  • IronChef C.

    Situation Sans intérêt

I wish it was the Anaconda (the movie) of rides. It needs to be bonkers and could use Jon Voight with a stupid accent to make it better. Its very boring and uninspired. It has a cool location but its a nonsensical tame layout. It struggles rather uncomfortably to get through its odd profiled turns and slow corkscrews. I don't think it will last much longer. Hopefully. On the plus side...its far from the most uncomfortable arrow looper I've ridden.

  • IronChef C.

    Pros: no; Cons: yes

  • IronChef C.

    Airtimes Théma

Floating over dumpsters and parking lots has never been so fun! If you get stapled at all, you're in for one boring ride...keep em loose, and you'll experience some bonkerz floater air. Typical hyper with a focus on air and if you love the sound and kick on of trims, you're in for treat my strange friend. Trims all over! But honestly they don't kill the ride or even trim that much. Needs a re-theming, or I-305 needs a re-theming. Earnhardt doesn't strike me as the man for floater airtime. Maybe Rusty Wallace? Anyway, a solid but not quite top level hyper for me, Goliath and Apollo stand above it by a bit.

  • IronChef C.

    Intensité Layout Longueur

Brilliant wooden coaster. Keeps its speed throughout and has multiple intense moments shifting you side to side and has nice moments of ejector air surprisingly. Front row and back are both great. Very solid wooden coaster and the amount of laterals is bonkerz. Solid number 2 in the park and not far off from number 1.

  • IronChef C.

    Théma Layout Hangtime

Nothing negative to say. There needs to be more like this in the States. Really different layout and an all-around solid coaster. Does nothing poorly, pacing is great and varied throughout. Moments of inversions, bonkerz hangtime, intensity, air, not to mention the great theming. Awesome and complete ride.

  • IronChef C.

    First Drop Chef d'oeuvre Longueur

What more do you want? The best restraints on the planet, the best ops on the planet, amazing speed and intensity, bonkerz drop, looks beautiful, the treble clef turnaround is so unique and the ride itself is the perfect length. My best rides to date have been front rown on this bad boy for last rides of the night w/o the trims and i was floored by it. It's a good ride in any row, its the best ride in the front at night, however. This thing carries the speed throughout beautifully, the tunnel is great, you get a bit of floater here and there and it really is tough to find a fault with Fury 325.

  • IronChef C.

    Launch Fun Intensité

LRod doesn't have a weakness. Its been reliable lately so hopefully that's all solved. Launch is bonkerz. Theming is perfect. Location is perfect. RMC trains are great. Pacing is fantastic. Ejector air is great. Strong and intense the whole way through. It's like the wooden version of Skyrush; its fast, its intense, it has insane ejector, it has a fast lift hill, no inversions, and sort of hates you. Amazing Ride.

  • IronChef C.

    Bonne suprise ! Fun Intensité

Cant really find a fault with it. I really enjoyed it. I suppose it could be maintained a bit better, but Six flags is bonkerz. I found it pretty comfortable and loved the pretzel loop. Nice ride, a real overlooked gem in the park.

  • IronChef C.

    Vitesse Fun Trop court

Back row! You will be pleasantly surprised with the air and speed in the back whereas the front felt pretty tame overall. Bonkerz laterals and a fun layout but it's over very quickly and can get some long lines compared to others in the park.

  • IronChef C.

    Situation Fun Longueur

Really good Alpine Coaster with plenty of length. You get some fantastic speed and some solid intensity during the turns. Definitely dont use the hand brake. The price is reasonable and it's location is beautiful in the mountains is bonkerz. Definitely hit it while you're in the area.

  • IronChef C.

First Drop Layout Ejectors Trop court

Amazing layout. Great ejector. Great drop. Nice theme. Great pacing. Only downside is length but they couldn't do much about that.

  • IronChef C.

    Inversions Fluidité Trop court

its only flaw is its length. its so good and right when im hoping for a helix or something, its over. rides real smooth too. inversions are massive and quirky, drops are great, tunnel is a plus, and the location is perfect. awesome ride and easily my #2 arrow behind Nessie.
