This one surprised me the most on my trip to BGT. I thought this layout looked like a pretty normal mid-tier coaster but I was very surprised at how intense it got. The drop into the loop was pretty solid. What really caught me off guard were the helixes but especially the long sustained one at the end that basically did two or three laps around. I normally don't gray out on a coaster but this one got me close and I was quite surprised given how short this coaster actually is. It's very fun and I highly recommend a ride! 3.5/5 stars

This one was the most disappointing of the park. Maybe with the high Captain Coaster rating and percentage I thought I would love this one but it just didn't do much for me. I felt like there was way too much headbanging to actually enjoy it and it felt like an old Arrow looper more than a B&M. The layout was pretty solid and this one had amazing capacity but I don't remember too many forces on this one. There were a couple of inversions with fantastic whip to them but I feel like I've ridden better rides. 3.5/5 stars

This one is an absolute beast! I've never seen POV videos of this ride be so deceptive and look innocent compared to what you actually feel. The lift starts off super quick and hardly slows down when you get to the top. This is my favorite first drop and it's not even close. That midway kink through the drop practically feels like it ejects you from your seat! Then you get thrown through so many rapid airtime hills throughout the course of the run that is so violent but so rewarding. The turns are a bit whippy and intense leading to some pain but I'm very surprised it's nicknamed "Thighcrush" since my thighs were just fine getting off both times. I rode back row on both the far left and far right wing seats and I slightly prefer the left although they are both fantastic. Both times I got off this one with a massive headache and my only regret was not riding this even more to sacrifice additional brain cells. Controversial opinion but I think this one is better than Wildcat's Revenge and the best in the park! 5/5 stars

This one is probably my favorite B&M Hyper to date. The first drop has a great max vertical angle and builds up quite a bit of speed. My favorite moment might be the way up on the first hill though. I got such long sustained floater airtime on that first hill and I couldn't believe how long it lasted. This out-and-back layout is great and provides plenty of floater airtime. I really enjoyed the lap around the fountain during the 2nd half and it really had a great touch to interact with the environment. I rode this in the back row two times and the front row once. I got nice ejector airtime in the front but the overall experience is best in the back row. 4.5/5 stars

A solid B&M invert with a somewhat unique layout. It's the first one I've ever ridden that doesn't start with a big first drop but rather a small curve into the much larger one. This is a pretty cool way to introduce the layout and build anticipation. It also felt like a very long duration from the other ones I've ridden. The speed on this one doesn't seem as quick as the Batman's and definitely less whippy. I also experienced a moment of headbanging which I'm not used to on any other B&M invert. Capacity is always outstanding on these though and give very short lines no matter how packed the park is on that day. I would definitely like to ride it again one day. 4/5 stars

I absolutely loved this one. The launch was fantastic and way more "punchier" than I was expecting compared to some launches I've ridden with better stats. Then you get to the top hat and the ejector feeling at the top is incredible. I felt like the inversions were fantastic as well but I ran out of "pro" slots lol. The flying snake dive is something I've never experienced before and it lived up to the hype I was expecting. My only con is it is too short. I've seen Intamin layouts with multiple launches and this one could have been an all-timer if they had room to expand the track and introduce a 2nd launch and experience. Great coaster though, my third favorite in the park! 4.5/5 stars

I really enjoyed this Maurer spinner. The ride itself was very light on spinning compared to rides like Pandemonium and Sierra Sidewinder but it made up for it with a cool, visual experience. I loved the dark setting with the bright neon theming. The drops were quite nice too. You were guaranteed to have drops backward and forward. The downside to this one is awful capacity which is expected on a semi-popular ride with barely any seating (4 to a car). Definitely check it out early when you enter the park and you'll have a fun time! 3.5/5 stars

I started off the day at Hersheypark with the kiddie coaster. I've been on some with one lap or two but I was surprised this one had you do three straight laps. The hill after the first lift hill surprisingly had some good whip in the back once you got to the top. This should be a great one for kids but the duration might be a trade-off between ride length and line waiting. It depends on what you want out of this but on crowded days I could see the length become an issue. 1/5 stars

This one is probably my favorite spinner to date (excluding Joker vertical spinning). The layout was a lot of fun and even though I experienced a ton of spinning it didn't lead to excessive dizzyness or anything. It was very unpredictable but in a good way where you could take turns backward and not know a clear orientation. Very fun and would ride again! Capacity is abysmal like most mice coasters and spinners so the line was long if I didn't have a Flash Pass. 3.5/5 stars

What an intense coaster. The launch is a bit tame compared to others I've experienced but going backward makes it way more thrilling. The really intense part is the first top hat, especially in the back row. I've never felt something like that before. It's quite disorienting but in a very good way. The final vertical spike has some insane hangtime and intensity. The momentum keeps going with the assistance of the magnet to pull you quite high at the top. Then you hit the actual drop doing everything forward and it feels like you get a brand new experience the other way around. I can't say enough good things about it. Although short, it's well worth the wait. 4.5/5 stars

An awesome wooden coaster in their lineup and I do not think this one needs the RMC treatment like the community suggests (*cough* do it to Screamin' Eagle *cough*). It is a bit rough and retracking wouldn't hurt it but I still had a great time. The first drop is fantastic in the back row and gives great airtime. The laterals on most turnarounds are a bit rough but I don't mind a little roughness around corners anyway. Some parts were so rough my phone fell out of my pocket which was terrifying and never happened to me before. I love the layout of this one too and the duration is fantastic. There are some dead spots where the pacing gets killed a bit (especially on the mid-course break run). I still definitely recommend riding this one and check out the back row for some amazing drops! 3.5/5 stars

A very nice mine train coaster ride. I remember growing up loving this one and feeling it was so intense when I was a kid. After my review ride, I realize it's definitely not as intense as I remember it. It does have a great layout going low to the ground through the terrain and making it feel faster than it actually is. The duration is also quite long so you get a lot of value for a short line ride. Unfortunately, it does feel like it has some dead spots and I think I counted 4 separate lift hills including the one after the tunnel drop which continually kills the momentum. The tunnel drop at the end is still super fun and always packs a surprising punch for what you would expect on this ride. 2.5/5 stars

There is a reason there are so many Batman clones throughout Six Flags parks and this just confirms how solid the ride is. Although this version is mirrored compared to most versions I've ridden, it still packs the intense forces and inversions you would expect from the layout. The first drop is fantastic and then you get the typical backflip, corkscrew, and backflip which comes at you so quickly that it's hard to process each inversion. This one had no rattle compared to Magic Mountain so it should belong above it. I rode my reviewed ride at Great America and it is still the best clone to date but I also rode it in the evening when it was warmed up. This one still felt very fast and I actually rode it within one hour of the park opening so I was surprised how fast it still ran. 4/5 stars

Surprisingly this is a solid Arrow looper in my opinion. I experienced your normal headbanging on most Arrow loopers but just keeping your head back makes the experience way less painful. It comes with your standard double loop in the beginning then throws in a double corkscrew which is where the pain is. The helix near the ground at the end was decently intense and pretty enjoyable.
I would still ride this one again if I were in the St. Louis area and feel like it gets a horrible reputation compared to the other higher-rated Arrows. 3/5 stars
Edit: I can't believe this is a Vekoma. Please ignore the Arrow looper comments but this feels so much like one.

I've ridden a handful of Batman clones and even if this was the original one built, it is the best one so far in my opinion. To this day it still runs so well with hardly any rattle. My review ride was the very front and I think it's worth the wait. You get the most intense whippy elements since the coaster is at its fastest in the front. The drop might be a lot slower than if you were to ride in the back but it's a sacrifice worth making for the intensity of the inversions. Compared to most B&M inverts that aren't this clone, it throws so many inversions and elements to you at a rapid pace. I love the loops, the corkscrews, the batwing element, etc. The theming is a nice touch in the queue line regarding Batman lore. All of this makes for a fantastic ride that doesn't look to be closing any time soon. 4/5 stars

Another fun kids' coaster to pair with Sprocket Rockets. This one is rich with history since it opened all the way back in 1929 at Kiddieland. Again, you won't find intensity but it's a perfect coaster to introduce new riders to since it has a nice drop and decent laterals. 1/5 stars

Fun little junior coaster. Great fit for the park in the kids' section. Not intense at all but also a lot taller and faster than some of the kiddie coasters I've seen in the Cedar Fair parks. I was impressed with the smoothness of this one being from the 90s. 1/5 stars

I believe this one is the best coaster in the park. I've ridden it at least 5 times and will always come off shaking because of how intense it is. The lift hill alone gets my nerves going because it's so steep. Outside of Hangtime at Knott's Berry Farm, the lift hill generates the most nerves for me personally. The first drop is absolutely incredible. I've sat in plenty of different rows but the back row is where it's at for the drop (pretty much for all RMCs as well). The first looping right turn is a bit boring but completely understandable given the small area to work with. Once you hit the hills you'll get absolutely fantastic ejector airtime. The zero-g stall is also incredible and probably my second favorite part of the ride outside of the first drop. It would be a bit better if the stall was slower but I still got some great hangtime. As most people said, it's one of the shorter RMCs and could use a little bit of length but also has incredible elements that make this a fantastic ride. 4.5/5 stars

This is a fantastic B&M Hyper. I was finally able to get a real ride in the back row and it made all the difference to earn it an extra half-star. I feel all B&M Hypers should have incorporated the pre-drop bounce to get momentum for the real deal. It truly does whip you over the hill for one of the better drops I've experienced on a coaster. Don't sleep on a front-row ride though. I know most B&M Hypers have more airtime hills for sustained floater but even with random trims, I got a lot of floater in the front. Plenty of great drops in the back row throughout the ride though. The helix near the end is also pretty intense. It doesn't keep the speed the entire way through which is a negative but I feel the positives outweigh the negatives. I've never had Raging Bull in my top 3 for the park but this one can comfortably slide in at #2 behind Goliath based on a back-row ride alone. 4.5/5 stars

I feel like the theming on this one is fantastic. They introduced their own song when it first opened and continue to play it in the queue line today. It also contains great rock structures and lighting through tunnels showing they put a lot of effort into making it an overall great experience. The first half is way better than the second half. After the lift hill, you turn into an actually decent drop with airtime in the back. You are then hit with a couple of loops that aren't exactly back to back but still give you great sensation. After you crest the hill you get to the part where it's essential to keep your head back. Even if you're very careful I still felt a lot of headbanging with the double corkscrew. I don't believe Arrow ever got the corkscrew correct without discomfort but later models don't hurt as much as this one. The location right in the middle of the park is fantastic too and gives you plenty of options for the next ride. 3/5 stars

This one is a pretty solid ride with lots of history behind it. Being an ACE landmark and a local crowd favorite has kept this one going in a park that constantly wants to change coaster lineups. I love the spiral lift hill and it might be my favorite part of the ride. I wish more coasters had this type because you slowly get 360-degree views of the park around you. The drops on this one are super shallow but very long and generate some speed. I think another awesome aspect is just how low to the ground the track winds around once you reach the end of the drop. My main concern is the discomfort I feel while riding it. Sure we tried to fit two adults into the seat which probably resulted in my "hip-banging" and "knee-banging" so it's possible it might be more comfortable solo. Out of the 15 coasters I rode that day this one hurt the most unfortunately but again be sure to ride this by yourself and let your friends or significant others have their own separate cars. I'm in the crowd of keeping this coaster around because it's a perfect bridge between kiddie coaster and full thrill so kids can reach that next step as they work their way up the thrill chart. 2.5/5 stars

I feel like 2 out of the 4 elements are some of the best in the entire industry but the other 2 drag this one down. The launch is my favorite of all time. It's insanely intense and hits me so abruptly it's hard to wrap my head around what just happened. Then you hit the dog tongue inversions and it really hits a dead spot. I would have much preferred some type of massive loop like Full Throttle to give intense hangtime. After the inversions (which were clearly put that high up just to break records to advertise the coaster) I got hit by one of the most intense heartline rolls I've ever felt. You at least build enough speed from the tall inversions to make this a fantastic moment. Then again I hit another inversion element to wrap up the ride that just doesn't really do anything for me. I can't really describe it but it felt like a cheesy way to get you back into the station. This one could have been an all-timer but got affected by builders looking to chase records. I would still highly recommend checking this one out for the launch and heartline roll alone. 4.5/5 stars

What a phenomenal ride! From the ginormous lift hill generating pre-drop nerves to the actual mammoth first drop to the treble clef element to the various airtime hill moments, this ride is a masterpiece from start to finish. As much as I love 90-degree drops on some of these RMCs, nothing beats a Giga drop in terms of maximizing your thrill. The lift hill is quick-paced but still feels like it takes forever as it takes you up 325 feet. Then the drop itself feels like it lasts forever while you generate an insane amount of speed. I record each ride POV from glasses and this drop actually made me grunt a little in intensity haha. The treble clef also met the huge hype expectations for this element. You really seem to whip up that quick-turn hill only to instantly take a fairly decent drop with airtime. Finish this off with a few more airtime hills that still kept the intensity throughout the ride. My first ride in row 3 was fantastic but I think the 2nd to last row ride really maximized the score on this one. I love it and I can't wait to get to Carowinds again to get more rides. 5/5 stars

This one is just so much fun to ride. The opening jojo roll is so cool to start any coaster with and kicks you off with some great hangtime. The launches aren't forceful but just fast enough to provide a thrill. I was really impressed with the pacing of this one as well. It felt like when you did inversions or loops the train would slow down just enough to give you long amounts of hangtime but then sped up fast enough during the hills to give short bursts of airtime. The theming on this ride is also a nice touch with a cute Western intro clip before the first launch. I will say the overall layout probably works for a majority of riders but it ended up being too whippy for me. On my first ride, I felt a little dizziness but with the fast pass, I got an instant second ride. The second ride knocked me out for 30 minutes with the dizziness just not going away. Anyone with a low tolerance for dizziness might be put off by this ride but I just regret not getting more rides if my body could take it that day. 4.5/5 stars

This is a decent family coaster and would be a great introduction to inverted roller coasters for new riders. The headbanging on this one is very real and very rough so you'll have to inform new riders of its roughness. The layout is pretty basic with no inversions but has enough height to make it seem somewhat quick. It really is a fairly relaxing ride but also very short. 1.5/5 stars

This one is very hard to rate because I had two completely different rides that day. We were told to go straight to Nighthawk when the park opens because the lines can be brutal. It was still a bit chilly and cloudy that morning and we got a back-row ride. This was the ride that made it get a high score. I can't tell if it was because it was running slower in the morning or the back row made the difference but it was super smooth and the reverse loop got super intense at the end of the complete revolution. Then we rode it mid-afternoon when it was hot and got a third-row seat. This was the ride that was way worse than the morning. It was way more discomforting this time around with some headbanging and it felt like the restraints on this row were too loose and made us feel nervous. I still had great rides both times but I can easily see how this coaster can be so polarizing. I have to give it props for more effort in the layout compared to the boring twists that most flying coasters have throughout their entire run. It really put an effort to make this unpredictable and you never knew what forces to expect. 4/5 stars

This one was a tale of two halves. I thought the first half was so entertaining and fun with as many inversions and loops as it gave right off the start. They were smooth and fast-paced. Then came the second half with the corkscrews and that's where the headbanging came in. I knew to anticipate the headbanging right before corkscrews but I still ran into very rough sharp turns that I was not expecting and it resulted in banging my jaw on the restraint. If they cut the ride in half and kept the first part I would have rated it a bit higher. 3.5/5 stars

This ride was fantastic. The best and most intense part of the ride is right at the beginning. The lift hill going straight up with decent height is something I've never experienced before and my nerves were super high before the first drop. I never got to ride in the very back or very front but on both rides I had included a very impressive first drop. I think they made the right decision by not only having you hang at a downward angle for an extended period of time but then slowly drop into the near vertical drop which just brings the intensity up high. I also thought the inversions throughout the ride were well-placed and kept the ride fun. The intensity definitely goes down after the first drop and inversion just based on the pacing and high looping aspect but it's still very fun throughout. There was also a quick drop near the end that caught me by surprise and I felt some extra forces. 4/5 stars

With Xcelerator still down, this was the best roller coaster in the park I had ridden that day. I was fortunate enough to get a ride in the very back seat for my first ride and it was incredible. The first drop is very intense back there. I'm used to wooden roller coasters having great first drops and then tame elements after that but this had even better drops with airtime and ejector feeling as the ride went along. I also enjoy wooden roller coasters with a little bit of roughness to keep their character and I felt like this one kept the perfect blend of roughness without you feeling like you got beat up after you get off the ride. My second ride was in the middle section and the intensity of the elements went down a bit but it was still a fantastic ride the second time through. 4.5/5 stars
