This is a fantastic coaster to wrap up my visit to Silver Dollar City. The first drop exceeded my expectations because I was looking to compare it to Lightning Rod. Unlike Lightning Rod, the small dip before the actual drop was able to keep its speed, which made the whip in the back row off the first drop really intense. The worst part of the ride is probably at the bottom of the first drop. Just like Lightning Rod, it has a pretty nasty pothole, and I hope they retrack that part. Sure, it can be slightly rough throughout the layout, but I didn't feel like the track vibrated much or had a rattle. Wood coasters are expected to be rougher, but that's the charm because you can feel the track a lot better than a steel one. Great airtime throughout the rest of the layout, although it feels like one of the shorter RMCs. Then capping it off with a double heartline roll led to a fantastic finish. 4.5/5 stars

This was, by far, my favorite at the park. I rode in the back row for every cycle and was amazed at how great that first drop hit. I think I like it better in the back right seat compared to the left for the drop, but every time was super intense when it jerks you out of the lift station. What I also love about this is that each ride felt super unique. Every time I felt like I experienced any possible force available, the new cycle would give me a new experience. It was probably my 4th or 5th ride where the back seat was perfectly aligned backwards on an inversion, and it gave one of the most unique feelings of hitting it perfectly aligned with the track. There's also a spot where you hit an inversion, but then get whipped over the hill rapidly, and it took a while for me to anticipate this spot. It was so much fun and I was laughing every time I got to the station. I do have to point out a con near the beginning, where the train stops before the first launch. I assume there's a reason for this, but it felt awkward, and I wish it had just continued the launch without the dead spot. 5/5 stars

I usually don't care for B&M coasters with OTSRs, but this one was fantastic. It starts with a great first drop (especially in the back row). I also recommend trying the front row because the location, off the beautiful wooded area, gives great views. It also seems packed with great inversions. I finally went against my normal method of riding these by keeping my head forward, which resulted in no headbanging (makes me wonder if I should try the other floorless ones again because the headbanging is usually terrible). To top it off, this one has an amazing capacity and never has a line compared to a few coasters in the park. 4/5 stars

The initial launch sure does pack a punch. It exceeded expectations since I didn't expect it to hit as hard as it did. After the launch, the airtime you get on the first hill (especially row one) is quite intense. The rest of the layout is decent, but I feel like the lift hill near the end feels like a dead spot and kind of kills the momentum. I wish they could have thrown in a long LSM launch to go up the hill for that one to keep its speed. The drop in the back row after the lift hill was pretty intense, though. 4/5 stars

This is one of the more fun mine train rides I've ever ridden. I was very surprised how intense it got during the 1st half. The long helix at the beginning is easily the best part. It gains speed during the first turnaround but then dips even sharper, making the second turnaround into the tunnel a surprisingly intense experience for a family thrill ride. The second half doesn't do as much, but at least the lift hill goes into another drop instead of just going back into the station like some coasters have done. 3/5 stars

The theming is incredible on this one, and I feel like RMC went out of their comfort zone and did a fantastic job with this. Like Blazing Fury, it feels like a dark ride with minor roller coaster elements, so it's tough to give this one a high score when this doesn't have many forces. It tells a really cool story about the town catching on fire while you traverse the layout. I thought this one had some slightly more intense drops and speed compared to its counterpart, Blazing Fury. The final drop also has a nice water element that doesn't get you too wet, but it's a nice way to conclude the ride. 2.5/5 stars

This is an absolutely fantastic giga. I still have Pantherian and Fury 325 ahead of it, but even though it's part of a great rollercoaster lineup at the park, it can still stand out after all these years. The first drop is amazing. I rode a front-row and back-row ride, with both providing great drops. It keeps the speed very well throughout the course as well. I gave it props for its location, too. The first drop right off the lake is a breathtaking view and just adds to the atmosphere it brings. I remember riding this when I was much younger and thought the airtime was insane, but even though it had some intensity, I have to knock it for not living up to my childhood experience. 4.5/5 stars

I didn't care for this one at all. It doesn't help when I normally don't like B&M floorless models to begin with but this one was the worst by far. The headbanging was overwhelming and it made sure I couldn't enjoy the forces. I also feel like the layout is pretty pointless after the drop off the mid-course brake run. It doesn't get any height back and kind of meanders in circles at a marginal pace. I will give credit that this has fantastic capacity. When other coasters were broke down over the two-day trip I experienced, this one was always reliable and never had a line because it can seat so many. 2.5/5 stars

A really solid woodie in the park, and I hope they keep it. It's unfortunate it's in one of the most stacked coaster lineups on planet earth and gets buried under all the great ones, but I had a lot of fun and will definitely ride it again during another visit. The airtime is solid for not much height, and they did a really great job designing the hills to keep the pacing. It wasn't rough, from what I remember, so I didn't experience much of the rattling that the other reviews mention. 3/5 stars

I think this is one of the more underrated B&M dive coasters and can hold its own against the top ones. I'm not sure why it's rated so low. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The first drop is great, like all dive coasters provide. It has a pretty good layout and is butter smooth compared to some of the newer models I've ridden. It also had a nice surprise pop of airtime near the end that I don't remember on some of the other models. 4/5 stars

This was probably the most intense coaster I experienced at the park. The initial launch seems pretty weak, but it also has a long track length and feels slower than it actually is. When it hits the reverse launch and the backwards spike, the intensity is absolutely insane. I've always been a sucker for backward spikes, and this is the best one I've ever experienced. After that, the final launch to get over the hill feels insanely fast. Cresting over the hill is also crazy intense and has an ejector feel to it. I also actually like how it twists down, giving really intense laterals on top of the airtime you get over the hill. It's a really long line, but it was well worth it in my opinion. 5/5 stars

This one was a lot better than I expected it to be. It surprisingly wasn't rough at all and seemed like a smoother Arrow coaster compared to the rough headbangers I've experienced. Unfortunately it is very short but it must have been ahead of its time to come out in 1976. It's also located right in the heart of the park which is quite nice but I wonder if it's the next coaster on the chopping block. 3/5 stars

Most people are on the extremes where it's either their favorite coaster in the park or they hate it. I happen to fall in the middle and still feel it's an excellent coaster. The location is nearly perfect like Millennium Force where it's directly off the water (the beach effect is even better on this coaster in my opinion). It has a nice drop with some solid floater airtime going through the course at an up-and-down pace. The turnaround is a bit boring but necessary to get back to the station. I heard about the row 3 magic seat so I thought I'd check it out and it did not disappoint. The second half into the finale is absolutely insane in this row. I've never felt ejector this ridiculous before in my life (possibly comparable to ArieForce One's ridiculous finale). It was almost comical how this was designed with the triangle airtime hills but that's what makes it a classic. 4/5 stars

One of the better racing coasters I've been on. Unfortunately, the blue side was completely inoperable, so the racing aspect was dead before I even got on. I'm still very impressed with the amount of airtime I got on this, and it seemed faster and taller than the other side-by-side racers I've tried. Even with one side going, the capacity was great, and I can't imagine how quickly they could get people out of the station with two trains. I have to agree with other reviews that the downside is a couple of dead spots. Sure, it doesn't completely come to a stop, but I was quite surprised by how much speed was lost at the top of a couple of hills. Then you hit the turnarounds, and it seems like it crawls to the next drop. The finale has a great turn at the end with fantastic speed, so that more than makes up for it. 3.5/5 stars

Not a bad mine train ride, but it definitely leaves something to be desired. I do like that it hits a decent speed compared to most I've ridden. My problem is that it's so out in the open and doesn't use terrain to its advantage like the ones I'm used to. It has a great drop into a water area for a nice touch, but that's about it. I'm used to numerous trees and quick turns, making it seem like an adventure through the woods, so the way they designed this seems a bit odd. It also has dreaded dead spots that plague most of these types by having a second lift hill that kills the momentum. I probably won't ride it again, but it's a nice step up from the kiddie coasters if you'd like to introduce your child to a more thrilling experience. 2.5/5 stars

This is an excellent compliment to Steel Vengeance. This is one of the best one-two punches in a specific area of a park, let alone an entire park. The first drop is so much fun since you launch up the hill and go beyond vertical during the drop. It has great twists and turns, along with a couple of amazing ejector hills in the first and second half. I loved the launch to break up the halves halfway through the ride. It seems deceptive, like the ride is over, then launches you into another intense half. I definitely prefer the first half to the second. The launch might be great with a hard banked left turn, but that brake at the top of the hill is such a momentum killer. I would have also preferred a more unique second half (it seems repetitive to the elements in the first), but it's still a ton of fun. 4.5/5 stars

My #200 credit! This one is fantastic. The amount of airtime I got throughout the duration was unparalleled. It still holds the record to this day and I absolutely believe it. The first drop is pretty awesome as well. It's built for airtime but it also does a great blend of throwing in inversions from time to time. Is it my new #1? Unfortunately not. A lot of users labelled one of the pros as ejectors but I could not reach that level of intensity on any of my rides. I feel like I got really lucky riding Iron Gwazi since it was running so fast and got unlucky with Steel Vengeance possibly not running as fast as it potentially can. I kept comparing the two during my first SteVe run which is the death of joy but even after the first drop I got a little negative and had IG as a more violent and fast one even if it's only 1 degree steeper and 1 mph faster. I feel like this second half of my review is way too critical though and I believe this is a masterpiece. I really can't wait to get back to Cedar Point and give this one another go along with the rest of their lineup. 5/5 stars

This was easily my biggest surprise of the Ohio trip. I expected to like it a lot, but not to the point where I currently have it in my top 3 ever as of September 2025. The first drop is something I didn't expect at all. I expected it to be a slightly better drop than a B&M dive coaster, but this felt like a really intense mini drop tower. I ran out of "pro" slots, but I could throw in the airtimes, smoothness, theming, etc. The airtime was so much fun in the back row (first drop being the most intense in that row as well). I never tried row 1, unfortunately, but I can imagine how insane the ejector could be up there. I couldn't believe how smooth it was as well. When I realized it was an OTSR system, I was a bit hesitant, but it didn't feel like any I've experienced before, with zero discomfort. The theming is very cool during the day, with cool swamps, and it has an entire introduction voice-over with creepy siren music. Then the drop comes, and you get this awesome rock ballad to get you amped up throughout the layout. What makes the theming shine is the night ride. I knew this was my favorite in the park when I only had 20 minutes left on day 2 and could sprint to one final coaster (of course, I chose this one). The trains light up, the swamps become this purple haze, and the smoke comes out through the tunnels. What an exceptional job they did with this new addition. It truly is a masterpiece. 5/5 stars

I put this one somewhere in the middle between Bat being the best suspended coaster I've tried to Ninja being the worst. It's not as intense as Bat or has that sharp drop to kick off the ride. It also has an awkward dead spot, like Ninja, where there's another lift hill halfway through the layout. The second half is actually pretty awesome, though. It does a great job of navigating the water area and makes it a cool location to have a suspended coaster. I would put this higher if the first half were better and had better speed. 3/5 stars

This is my second-favorite wing coaster to date, behind Wild Eagle. It has the height and better drop over my home park's X-Flight. The smoothness and comfort of the entire ride is what I wish B&M would go back to standard-wise, because it's a wonderful experience. It has pretty great inversions, and although the near-miss element might not be as good as X-Flight, it still has an awesome one with the double keyhole. The location at the front of the park is the perfect addition to Cedar Point. I haven't been to this park in years, but this was quite beautiful to walk up to, as I anticipated experiencing the best roller coaster park on the planet. 4/5 stars

Not a bad coaster for its purpose in the park. Zamperla spinners are either amazing and intense or leave something to be desired, and this one could have been a bit better. It's still a lot of fun, and I actually like the cute theming. It has a cute song to play during the ride and has specific mice for each car, so I thought that was a cool touch. I wish you could ride by yourself like you can on the Fun Spot version, so the spinning was just a bit too tame for me to give it a higher score. 3/5 stars

This one was pretty solid to wrap up my coaster count at Kings Island. The first drop is a lot steeper and more intense than Ninja at SFMM. It also does a great job using the terrain to its advantage to make it seem thrilling and fast. I've never been the biggest fan of suspended coasters, but the swinging back-and-forth effect was very cool. I will probably ride it again if I visit but it's probably just a one-and-done for me. The queue line to get to the actual ride is ridiculously long and really turns into a letdown for only a slightly thrilling coaster. 3/5 stars

Having recently reviewed a coaster I felt a bit overrated in Mystic Timbers to riding probably the most underrated coaster I rode during my entire Ohio coaster trip. This thing was fantastic and I can't believe it's not ranked higher on the invert rankings. The first drop might be the best one I've experienced to date (although Alpengeist has a fantastic one too). The capacity is also top-notch with the ops churning out coasters 4 people across and no brake run wait on a Saturday which is quite impressive. The inversions are also intense and exactly what I look for. I do enjoy inverts with short, whippy transitions but I actually prefer the long, swooping ones with great speed. The roll near the end is nothing I've experienced before and quite a nice touch. 4.5/5 stars

This is a really fun woodie! It has great airtime with tons of small hills. It's also just a ton of fun to experience. I might be just a bit critical because it's not the type of layout I look for in a woodie. It feels like it snakes back and forth in different directions, but that tends to reduce the airtime experience from the coasters that have this type of layout for me. I also have to knock it a bit on theming. The theming overall is very good, but to put a shed as the focal point only for it to have barely any theming kind of kills it at the end for me. If I'm in Kings Island, I would love to lap it again, but I might put this a bit in the overrated category compared to some of the better GCIs I've ridden. 4/5 stars

Another absolutely fantastic B&M out-and-back hyper. The airtime was fantastic floater in the back. I probably should have given it a ride in the front to see if there was ejector, but the back has always been better on this type of model. It also has some of the best restraints in the business (clam shells). I'm not sure why I prefer Orion over this. Maybe Orion has a better first drop and better speed, but I wanted to ride it more than Diamondback. Plus, like I said in the review of Orion, these two seem a bit redundant, not that it's a bad thing to have two awesome coasters. 4.5/5 stars

I'm conflicted on this one. It does some really amazing things, like giving a long ride. It also goes through the woods for most of its duration, making it such a cool location. I absolutely think they should keep this one around, but I couldn't help but critique some of the aspects it does badly. It's not an airtime machine and doesn't have a great first drop. The pacing seems a bit off, with different parts slowing the train down too much. I felt quite a rattle in certain spots as well, like the second tunnel was a bit rough. It's a tale of two halves, where the first half is pretty forgettable but the second half is fast and unhinged. I was a bit too burned out that day to wait around for a night ride, and I assume that night ride would bump it up half a star or even a full star. Maybe if I pace myself during the next KI visit, I can reevaluate this one and give it a proper night ride. 3.5/5 stars

My favorite at the park! The first drop is fantastic, and although the lift hill doesn't reach 300 ft., it really does feel like the other 3 giga coasters I've done in the US. It is my least favorite giga, but that's only because the other 3 are great too. It also has nice pops of floater airtime on the hills and has some fast-paced turns mixed in. I completely understand why people would rank this lower or claim it's a redundant coaster. Compared to Fury 325 and Thunder Striker at Carowinds, this feels a bit too much like a normal B&M hyper. I just happened to ride this before trying Diamondback, and although I prefer it to Diamondback, it still could use a better identity. I still rode this more than Diamondback and wanted to lap this thing when I got all the KI credits I could. 4.5/5 stars

This is one of the better mine trains I've been on. The theming is great with tunnels decorated in Mayan theming. Although it has some dead spots, including the lift hill to get back into the station, they made up for it with some stone temple guard animatronics. I feel like this is so much better than a rollercoaster like Ninja in SFMM that has a boring lift hill at the end that completely kills the ride. The speed on this seems a bit faster than most mine trains as well. It's not thrilling, but it fills a certain niche for a family coaster. 2.5/5 stars
