Grand National ça tabasse mais qu'est ce que c'est fun, le train tremble dans tout les sens et ça tape par endroit mais franchement je me suis éclaté à faire la course avec l'autre train sur ce parcours super long blindé d'airtime débile et chaque virage te promet du G lat tout aussi débile. J'ai été un peu gêné par la lap bar qui a tendance à se resserrer dans les creux mais sinon franchement je ne pensais pas autant apprécier ces wooden je dirais que ce sont mes plaisirs coupables à Blackpool.

I rode this in the back row and the airtime is amazing and you are out of your seat on every single one of those hills especially that double first drop but not the best Blackpool woodie for back row ...

In the past, this would have been one of the best wooden coasters in the country. Now, it sits firmly in the 'dear lord get me off my back hurts' category. Unbelievably rough, especially on the wheels but it is still unbearable in other seats. As a result, I could not enjoy the ride in the slightiest... Please dear lord re-track it, it deserves to be an amazing airtime monster again :(

Not sure where the rough criticisms come from. This ride isn’t uncomfortable at all for its age. In serious need of a paint job though, because this is a great racing coaster with great airtime moment...

The rides I had on a middle seat were totally fine - fairly rough, but bearable. Over the axis, it was quite painful, so I recommend staying away from these seats if you don't want it too bumpy. Asi...

The rides I had on a middle seat were totally fine - fairly rough, but bearable. Over the axis, it was quite painful, so I recommend staying away from these seats if you don't want it too bumpy. Aside from that, this rather innocent looking coaster has quite some serious airtime moments, especially the small bunny hops taken with high speed fling you out of your seat. This is definetely the most intense woody at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, maybe even the most intense ride of the entire park - a ride with wet rails after light rain was absolutely insane. The duelling and Moebius aspect add to the unique ride experience.

Sorry all defenders, this is ass. 0 airtime, little bit of laterals combined with pain on the unbanked turns. Even as a strong safety believer, you really dont feel safe on this 100+ Y/O ride. the trains are awful, the lapbars are awful. All of it is awful I understand there is no room for an RMC, but if your ripped out dipper to, could you? Atleast give it titan track. Otherwise its scrapyard next for this icon.

Certainly the best woodie at Pleasurebeach, and tied with Wickerman for me for the best woodie in the UK. The Grand National is a fantastic Ride that offers lots of airtime, really throws you out of your seat and quite literally ‘hurtles’ around the track. It is rough, but it’s worth it for the airtime and the dual racing aspect.

The first time I rode this I could not believe the airtime. The ride also goes on for ages and it never gives up until the brakes. I think the right side just beats the left side. Avoid the wheel seat...
