This is the only coaster I have ever ridden that I come off it with a headache, not because it's rough but because the g-forces are too extreme. It's my least favourite of all the giga's in north america IMO. That being said I still enjoy riding it when I go to KD, I just can't marathon it like a lot of enthusiasts can.

Absolute nuts. Its insane that this thing even exists. This is probably the only ride I've ever seen that is a good ride that has a shorter wait because it is simply too much for the general public. I grayed out every time I rode this, with a few blackouts in there too. Genuinely one of the craziest feelings on any experience of my life. The whippy transitions and sense of speed are big pros too.

I rode I305 17 times that day, and a 10 ride marathon and the end of the night, and this coaster is incredible. Easily my #1 coaster. The transitions are great as well as the first turn. Ride in the back row for the whip, but make sure to get a front row night ride. At night with the wind in your face this is unlike any other coaster. Highly recommend getting out to kings dominion for this.

This review is based only on one ride in the front row, but this thing is undoubtedly a coaster like no other. The first drop is amazing and gets the adrenaline flowing for the infamous gray out turn, that while I surprisingly did not gray out on is very intense. Both airtime hills deliver some very good ejector airtime, but what I find to be my favorite part of the ride are those snappy transitions. It feels like the coaster just can’t decide which way it wants to go and tries to kill you and your vision while it makes its mind up. All of this, while you’re being smacked in the face with wind at the impressive speed of 90 mph. The entire layout is pure insanity and I love every second of it. You really have to experience this one to believe and feel the hype. 100% the best coaster in the park; made even better by “GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES” as you dispatch. 10/19 UPDATE: Now that I finally have more rides on this, I can further my claim that this ride is absolutely extraordinary. Most of my rides have been in the front, but I have done back as well. Both rows have their pros and cons; in the front you have the amazing sensation of 90 mph right in your face, as well as strong positives and in my opinion it’s the best row on the ride for some sustained airtime on the airtime hills, but the back offers extremely good whip and it’s also the row that I think you have the best chance of graying out in(for reference, I’ve yet to gray out in the front but I did gray out in the back). This is truly a ride like no other that every coaster enthusiast should make an effort to come experience sometime in their life.

Before I rode this, I thought I knew the meaning of intense. But this Ride is CRAZY! The first turn makes me gray out every time, and I never knew there was such a thing as an intense brake run. I also rode this ride in the back 3 times in a row nonstop. My head hurt for an hour after that. This ride's intensity is both good and bad, because it both adds and detracts from the experience. But overall, it's great and is one of my favorite coasters.

My absolute favorite part of this ride and one of my favorite elements of all time is the snappy speed hill after the camelback. I love this ride SO MUCH! It ranks within my top 5 easily. Every hill has amazing airtime, every s-bend is a joy, and every turn tries to knock you out cold! You'll never feel faster than when you are darting around near the ground at 90 miles per hour. My only complaint is the harsh trim 2/3rds of the way through the layout.

La First Drop est folle, le Turn à ras le sol juste derrière jusqu'au Camelback offrira un moment d'intensité en G+ vertical rare sur la planète tant c'est long et intense, surtout lors d'une journée d'été avec 40° ambiant. Les changements de direction sont brutaux et intenses, tout comme les ejectors d'ailleurs qui poussent vraiment. Les Helix sont prises à des vitesses délirantes et son très très intenses, Intimidator 305 est une machine à ne pas mettre entre toutes les mains car très intense mais l'expérience offerte est dantesque, tout simplement mythique !

I305 is by far the most intense ride I've been on. It isn't the tallest, but after the first drop coming up on that first airtime hill strikes different, and every time I nearly black out. Definitely ride towards the back. I was a little disappointed when I rode towards the front, because it didn't have as much intensity, but still an amazing ride, and I don't understand why Fury keeps winning steel coaster of the year.

Si vous aimez l’intensité ce coaster est fait pour vous, a l’inverse si votre style est plutôt un parcours aérien, avec de grands hangtimes alors vous n’allez pas forcément appréciez. Le vieux harnais intamin c’est pas super, et la first drop je la trouve décevante pour un coaster de 93m de haut (celle d’un bon RMC c’est largement plus intéressant). Oh my god. I rode this when I went to KD for a senior trip a month or two back, and before I go back to KD in a couple of days, I want to review this monster before I forget. But, WOW, this thing is insanity. It's very intense, but smooth. I've ridden easily at least 50 coasters, and out of all of those, this is the only one that made me gray out, and I fucking love it. I rode it, knowing I was probably going to gray out, and then the drop came, and there is zero warning beforehand. I got off this ride and literally jumped up and down like a toddler, and I'm a grown ass man. If you can handle the intensity, I STRONGLY recommend riding this beast.

Probably the most intense ride a modern amusement park can get away with. I greyed out on the first turn, and I don't usually get motion sick or lose consciousness at all on roller coasters. After that, the ride was a masterpiece. Extreme levels of ejector and multi G turns. This was helped out by the new style Intamin restraints which are somehow less prone to stapling then other rides with the same setup. A must ride for sure if you are in the area.

It made me wanna puke at the end of the second time. It's THAT GOOD. I could go on about this Discord user traumatizing me with a ChatGPT-generated retheme of the ride (back when we didn't know it was gonna be jaguar-themed) about a little-known Disney character (from the PARKS) I liked at the time, but to save your sanity, I won't.

I do not experience the grey/blackouts that other riders do, though I have on occasion seen stars. If I did, though, I doubt I would be riding it again. Last time I rode it front row and it did not disappoint. While TT edges it out as my favorite ride at KD, I still love this little (big) monster if a ride. My favorite part is the snap turns that always take me by surprise. I know they are there, but this thing doesn't give you the time to think about what's coming next. I also appreciate the security of thenover-the-shoulder restraints that also add to the theming as a Nascar ride (even if it is being rethemed--please dont take them away!) Three cheers to KD for having this thing in it's 1-2 park punch.

If Fury is the perfect giga coaster, I305 is the absolutely insane and deranged sibling that tries to kill you and is somehow better for it. If you trade a varied and majestic layout for insane intensity and laterals so strong they give you airtime, you get this monster. Some may say that the over-the-shoulder restraints hurt this ride's quality, but I firmly believe lap bars on this thing would result in countless spinal injuries. To this day this is the only coaster I am ever scared to ride. The sheer power and intensity is downright horrifying, but that's what makes the ride so good; there is no other coaster like this one on the planet and there never will be. 10/10 - as of my last visit I can officially say I have fully passed out on this thing! Do not ride this coaster 3 times-back-to-back dehydrated and on an empty stomach

This is the most intense coaster I've ever ridden and it's not even close. I've heard about graying or blacking out but never really came close on any ride until this one. Especially the further back in the train you get, that's when the sensation becomes even more intense. My first ride in the front row didn't make me gray out and it's probably the best place to ride it. The intense speed you feel while making sharp turns and transitions is so much more enjoyable with the wind in your face. I had the most gray-out sensation in row 10 and never rode a row further than that. You're taking the first curve at a way faster speed in the back and it hits hard on the body. Great airtime after the first curve as well and it keeps an insane pace until the first brake run up the second airtime hill. This truly is a masterpiece and I'm so glad they took a chance at making a Millennium Force/Maverick hybrid. 5/5 stars

This is one of the best rollercoasters in the world if not the best for me. The first drop is phenomenal, the intensity is perfect (any more would be too much), the speed is awesome and the ride is smooth despite the pace. In contrast to Maverick I love the transitions despite their being intense and the seats are a bit better too. I think the restraints could be better though, they are just inferior to the modern Intamin over-the-shoulder lap bars. But all in all, this is an awesome rollercoaster that everybody who likes intense rides has to experience.

I experienced full g-LOC on this coaster. My first ride was in the back row and I experienced a severe grayout and tunnel vision, which is more or less what I expected given my experience on other coasters, namely Fury 325. Being under the impression that the back was probably more intense than the front, I then rode in the front row. On that ride, I lost consciousness somewhere around 2/3 of the way through the initial 270° turn. I remember hearing a sort of humming vibration and then waking up around the crest of the first airtime hill. When I first woke up, I was completely disoriented and my first though was "Why am I watching a POV of Project 305?", but then I quickly realized that I was actually on it and that I must have lost consciousness. I then rode in the back row again and had the same experience as my first ride in the back row. After the first turnaround, I love the high-speed turns and whippy transitions. The transitions are honestly my favorite part. They are so violent that you somehow get quick pops of ejector airtime, but they aren't uncomfortable at all in my experience. There is also airtime from the hills, but not as good as that on other gigacoasters in my opinion. This loses a half-star for knocking me out. It isn't that it is too intense for my preferences, just too intense for my body.

I hate to be that guy but I do have to knock it somewhat for the first turn - while I love intensity, I don't love the sustained gray out I am guaranteed to get in every row. I don't think I've ever fully blacked out on this, but given this thing scrambles your head like nothing else I could be wrong on that. The rest of the ride has the sort of insanity that I'm looking for. The other turns have the right mix of force and length to not be overwhelming. Those transitions. THOSE. TRANSITIONS. I love whip and these are the best in the world for that. And the amount of speed this thing carries throughout the layout is mindblowing. We'll never see another coaster this intense again, so enjoy it while you can.

The intensity was somehow both good and bad. The lift hill is FAST, and the ride leaves you absolutely breathless. I wouldn't ride after lunch! :P That said, it was certainly a memorable ride. While I'm not itching to ride it again, I totally recommend it for any extreme coaster thrill seekers out there!! At the risk of starting a feud, I'd be willing to bet this ride is far more intense than Steel Vengeance, for what it's worth XD

Absolutely no cons; this is a legitimate masterpiece of engineering.

Let me just start with this. I prefer positive g force, pure speed, and pure sustained ejector or floater airtime over quick pops of airtime, pacing also plays a huge part in how I rank rides. I also have an extremely high g force tolerance and I have to be very very dehydrated to start greying out. That being said, Intimidator 305 is in my opinion, truly the greatest coaster ever made. It has insane speed, positive gs that cause most to grey or black out (even if I didn’t since I rode it right after having a meal and drinking a bunch of water) and insane sustained ejector airtime, insane airtime pops from the lateral snaps. This is truly THE greatest coaster ever in my opinion and I don’t believe anything can beat it. It’s absolutely perfect. The transitions were designed in a masterful way, so that while you’re viciously being tossed around by the ride you get ejected out of your seat on the snaps. There is no coaster that can ever beat this ride for me, it’s absolutely the perfect roller coaster. If you haven’t ridden it, ride it asap. I love this ride. One of the 2 coasters I consider to truly be a perfect coaster. Nothing will ever beat it. It’s unreal.

It will forever be I305 in my heart, even with whatever name they're going to call it in 2025. Since it opened in 2010, it was at the top of my bucket list. Recently, I was able to cross it off. The words before the lift hill are iconic. It really starts the adrenaline rush before the ride starts. Ride it in the back, mainly for the first drop. It's ejector 300 feet downward. One of the best first drops on any coaster ever. The first turn caused me to gray, even with my high G force tolerance. There's a decent airtime hill following. The rest of the ride has many of potentially the most snappiest transitions between turns. There's even a few good airtime hills incorporated. As soon as it goes into the breaks, you have time to process what happened. It's legendary, no matter what name it holds, and it was worth the anticipation to finally return to KD and ride it.
