Nice surprise! Fun Duration
This is the weaker of the two Max + Moritz coasters but it's still really good. It has some nice whip on the transitions and decently forceful helixes for what it is. It excels at what it is, it's a fun, well themed, comfortable coaster. Definitely my second favourite powered coaster.

Theming Fun
Honestly pretty good for a kiddie coaster. The music and duelling trains add to the fun factor. The second lap goes faster, which is a nice twist.

Theming Fun Smoothness
While I do think Bob was a better attraction than Max en Moritz, I do think this is a very decent alternative for the well-loved Bobbaan. Max en Moritz features Efteling-like theming, improving Efteling's aesthetics, since it's now way more pretty than before. Personally, I think the Max-side is better, because it's sleightly more intense and you get a splash of water in the face during the second lap. I do think that I would've prefered this ride if it was a convential duelling coaster, instead of the "opposite ways out of the station way" theyve done it here. I'm not a powerd coaster fan, but I can defenitely see that Max en Moritz is the perfect kiddy coaster. When visiting the Efteling, this ride is worth it with smaller children, but I think they will prefer rides like Symbolica and Droomvlucht. When you're an enthousiast, riding both sides once for the credit and moving on is completely fine. Just make sure not to be surprised when you see a train full of people wearing Red Bull merchandise. If this ride has a long line, getting a few more rides in on Baron or Joris en de Draak is more worth it. (also on Moritz side page)

Theming Fun Smoothness Dead spots
A little uneventful, but a fun well themed family ride nonetheless. Personally I think this is the better one as it has better laterals, especially in the switchback turns near the end.

Capacity Comfort Fun
Always fun to do. The capacity is incredible, you almost never have to wait for this, even on busy summer days. The sountrack is a funny piece of music that stays in your head for a long time. The seats are comfortable. The layout itself is quite intense, especially in the second half.

Theming Nice surprise! Location Intensity
Max & Moritz is a fun themed ride, but nothing special layout or speed wise

Theming Smoothness
I think that Max and Moritz a very good ride is. I rode it with my niece and she had so much fun! For the kids this is absolutely the best coaster in Efteling! Also the theming is outstanding!
-
Theming Intensity
Nice theming for a family ride, but the intensity is extremely low, even for kids.

Theming Fun Smoothness
A great family coaster: quirky theming, nice soundtracks, a smooth, but fun ride experience and the duelling effect is the icing on the cake - what is not to like?

Theming Capacity Fun Layout
Max & Moritz are the biggest guilty pleasure coasters I've ridden. I love these rides a lot because they are just so much fun to ride! Theming is top-notch as expected from Efteling and the dueling makes it even more fun. The best thing about these rides is the onboard soundtrack though! Moritz does have a worse layout compared to Max, there aren't as many turns, just two helices and that's it.

Fun
I was a bit sceptical, but it turned out to be more fun that I imagined. Too bad they tore down Bob for this, though.

Theming Fun Smoothness
The theming is fun, with some jokes and funny things to do in the waiting line. It's nicely done, and serves it's purpose well. Moritz knows it's a kiddy coaster and delivers perfectly with a smooth ride and nice funny music. A good rollercoaster for adults with (little) children!

Theming Fun
It's a powered junior coaster - so not intended to be a huge thrill, but it does what it sets out to very well. Accelerates through the station for a much pacier second lap that really elevates the whole experience and gives kids a taste of what a second launch feels like on a grown-up thrill coaster (my 1.2m son said it's like Taron for kids). Theming characteristically gorgeous. If there's a downside it's that it's a shame they couldn't have designed the cars to accommodate 0.9m kids as my 0.95m two year old loves other powered coasters and would have liked to ride this and that height restriction seems like it could have been achieved for this ride. Of the two, I think Moritz is better on the first lap and Max is better on the second.

Theming Dead spots
It is a good kiddy coaster, with great Efteling theming, nothing more.
-
Theming Comfort Too short
As I already mentioned for 'Max': Too little duelling for a duelling coaster, theming is good but nothing special for Efteling.

Theming Fun Pointless
It's a good ride with a lovely soundtrack what i love from the Efteling. But the most powered coasters that i've done had interactions with other attractions or a tunnel with theming halfway the ride. But for kids this is awesome and also the queuline.
