The Riddler Revenge is a Vekoma SLC clone that used to be called Mind Eraser before being themed to the Riddler and painted green as part of the DC area of the park. It is one of the more tolerable SLCs due to the updated harness you have to prevent major headbanging. That being said, it is still reasonably rough with a rattle to it. The ride is intense and the pretzel knot feature is forceful as is the inline twists. The inversions are snappy and fun. You know what you’re gonna get.

At least I didn’t get a headache though. This coaster is fun. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who gets headaches on coasters, for obvious reasons.

My first ride in July wasn’t that good. It was pretty rough, and it earned only 2.5 stars. I decided to give it a second chance, and it only got worse. I knew old vekoma’s profiling was bad but not THAT bad. It was jackhammering me so much throughout the entire layout. I do want to point out 2 of the worst moments of roughness. First, the sidewinder. You can see the roughness from off ride. Not only do you have the lateral roughness, but now there’s aggressive shaking back and forth. Then, there’s the inline twists. These 2 are so rough that any form of enjoyment is quickly sealed. There are sudden jolts from side to side that are so abrupt, impactful, and painful. It has vest restraints, which are probably the only thing making this 1.5 stars instead of 0.5. The vest restraints are a step in the right direction, but it still is bad and I’m still concerned about riding SLCs with the old restraints. (Update all of this applies just it's not as bad so now it's back to a 2.5. If you want the specific rows, the 1.5 star ride was row 3 and the 2.5 star ride was the back row)

This wasn’t really terrible for an SLC lol. I haven’t ridden one of these in many years so it was fun to revisit a clone type everyone loves to hate. My advice to SFNE is replace this with a new generation Vekoma like Big Bear Mountain at Dollywood which is buttery smooth and fun for everyone.

I maintain that SLC's have good layouts, and this proves it. It's nothing mindblowing, but this shows the model has redeeming qualities. Still very shaky, which I found annoying but not painful. The vest restraint stapled my legs HARD, which was easily my least favorite part of the ride. Decently forceful and fun though, and worth a ride or two.

There is no doubt some lateral shaking and roughness, as I expected, but the vest restraints help. “Help” is the key word, because it doesn’t completely absolve it of being rough laterally. But what was surprising was how the train seemed to be rough on the track by lurching backwards and forwards. Super odd. The layout on this ride occasionally shines through, with the final barrel rolls being a good moment, with some whip. But if this is the second-best SLC in the country, I'm not sure I want to ride another (besides Wildwood's.)

Knowing the reputation of SLCs, I went into Riddler Revenge with relatively low expectations. I heard it was one of the better ones due to the restraints, and while they definitely helped relieve the headbanging, it still rode insanely rough. I was shocked about how shaky the trackwork was. The ride has solid pacing and some fantastic near misses, but you can't concentrate on the layout much when you are being shaken around so viciously. I cannot begin to imagine riding this with the unupdated restraints. PMF.

This coaster demolishes any feeling you have in your thighs, and just flings your upper torso around like a scene from Saw where you lose feeling from the waist down by being dunked in a bath of acidic ice (I made that up). Yeah, I definitely prefer the older restraints after riding SFA's Mind Eraser- at least that one isn't unbearable. Also, I HATE the name, it bugs me so much! Word of advice, New England- get a thesaurus.

Six flags thought they would try to rebrand it by painting it Yellow and Green and changing the name from Mind Eraser to Riddler Revenge. Don’t be fooled. Change to the harness was decent, but this is still a rugged and very rough ride overall

How did such a god awful ride turn into one of my favorites? I think I like this more than montu! this is so intense with the rattle and the jerkiness making it feel so out of control, just pure fun. Only bad thing is it isn't crazy whippy and the brake run is horrid and slams you forward.

Giving 3 stars because it had a major improvement on the restraints since it was Mind Eraser, now there’s far less head banging making it ridable, it’s really efficient so the line is usually short and it rarely breaks down. The new color scheme is nice and stands out compared to some of the duller rides, and considering the other rides in the park it’s actually pretty good with 5 inversions including a double corkscrew which is unique from any of the other rides here. Of course there’s a lot of other SLCs and this is probably not near the best one out there, but for what the park has it’s a decent ride with a good amount of inversions so if there’s a short line its worth riding

I have nothing really much to say except i'm upset with Vekoma and with SixFlags. This ride looks extremely fun on the outside but as soon as you ride it you will not want to go on it again. I think everyone should ride it once for the experience but overall its a very painful roller coaster. I feel like they could have built a way better coaster here or even a different ride. I wish they would replace it with a ride like battle for metropolis over at Sixflags Great Adventure. I honestly think they should have kept the name Mind Eraser because it definitely lived up to that name.

Mind Eraser, now called Riddler’s Revenge, is a super rough ride. It starts out okay, but once it hits that first inversion, you are getting thrown around like a rag-doll. You can visibly see the riders being jerked to the side on the sidewinder (3rd inversion), and the in-line twists are downright awful. At the end, the train waits a long time in the brakes while the harness digs into your legs, making them cold and slightly numb. That being said, it was intense, and it was so rough, it was actually exciting. Despite the harness digging into my legs, it did have a vest, so there was no headbanging.
