Flashback is one of many Boomerang clones throughout the country that has been at the park for a while. It’s a good reliable option when other rides at the park have big waits. You get the classic rattle and headbanging of a boomerang and when I was in the front, my legs barely had enough room so I had to squeeze them in. I still had a fun ride on this regardless because of the forces of the 2 inversions going through them forwards and backwards.

I genuinely had no expectations for this. I thought it would be a headbanging mess. First ride, I was desperately preparing for headbanging that… never appeared. There wasn’t headbanging. I even found it decently forceful! The second ride was rougher, enough to give me a mild headache. I still found it to be an underrated gem that doesn’t deserve a 6.3%.

I was really excited to ride this with my cousin this year and the park was 30 seconds away from closing. We sprinted as fast as we could to the Flashback cuz it was our first boomerang coaster and we really wanted to try it. There was like 5 other ppl there cuz the park was closed but we made it in last second. We got in the train and waited for like 15 minutes just for them to lock the harnesses, and they are completely made of hard plastic. No padding on the headrest.. The harnesses were like 3 feet away from us so it felt like we were going to slip out. The ride started and it started going backwards up the hill. We were already starting to feel the rattles and i knew we had made a huge mistake. It dropped and it started deliberately BANGING me head back and forth into those solid, hard plastic vest harnesses. When the ride was over i had a huge headache and felt sick.

Just like the other old Vekoma SLC at the park, this wasn’t bad for a standard Boomerang clone. If I sustain minimal brain injuries then it’s mission accomplished.

First vekoma boomerang was a lot more fun than i expected! First drop was fast and fun and the backwards vertical loop was very forceful. Definitely wasn’t smooth but it was a lot better than I expect...

One of the worst Boomerangs I have done. Just not fun. The ride itself isn't too rough but the brakes just seemed unnecessarily abrupt compared to others and I did not enjoy that. With Goliath gone I would love to see this removed as well and a large investment come in their plots.

I have nothing to say except I think this is the worst boomerang coaster on the planet. It just feels like the whole things going to collapse. I definitely think there was better potential for something here. But if you do happen to like it guess what its always a walk on so you can ride it as many times as you please. But I bet you wont pass 3-4 rides. If you want to ride a way better boomerang go to Goliath.

Credit #82 SUPER underrated, I was very much surprised on how much I liked it. It's gotta be my favorite Vekoma boomerang so far! Usually boomerangs make me dizzy, but this one did not make me feel that at all. Plus, for some odd reason, it felt as silky smooth as a B&M hyper. I am probably crazy saying I enjoy this ride, but hey, this is coming from the same guy that hates Raptor at Cedar Point. All I'm saying it's good for a boomerang, even though I was expecting the worst lol
