Batman: The Dark Knight is a great stepping stone coaster to some more intense floorless coasters. They run 2-3 trains and it has great capacity. This coaster is very smooth for being over 20 years old and the ride is quite comfortable. The inversions feature a loop, corkscrews, and a roll or two. The ride is not as intense or forceful and is quite short, but the pacing and smoothness make up well for it.

Manufacturing company Bolliger & Mabillard is famous for all their multi-looping roller coasters across the planet. Undoubtedly one of their most popular models that falls under this multi-looping umbrella is their floorless coaster; a traditional sit-down looper without floors on the trains. This model was a phenomenon in its prime. Unfortunately, Batman the Dark Knight at Six Flags New England is one of the least popular and favorable floorless coasters. As for me, it definitely falls into the lower tier of the model in comparison to ones I have ridden. That's not to say that the attraction isn't splendid. The ride may be lacking in stats but it has a very well-paced layout with no midcourse brake-run. Every inversion is taken with a great amount of speed and delivers awesome whip, depending on the row. The zero-G roll in particular is a highlight because of the essentially "upside-down airtime" you get from the inversion, which to that, is surprisingly strong. Unfortunately, as previously mentioned, the ride definitely loses some points because of its small stats. Height and speed don't typically mean much but the length is something to look at. The ride is very fun yet it feels like it ends too soon. That's not even to mention my biggest critique with this attraction; its intensity. Normally, floorless coasters exert high amounts of positive G-forces on me. On this ride, that is not the case. The inversions are fun and whippy yet do not seem to provide great forces, which is something that not many other floorless coasters can also say. The ride is definitely a well-paced attraction with great inversions, but its small length and lack of intensity do not grant this ride a spot in my favorite floorless coaster iterations.

It really depends on where you sit for it to either be a good ride or a bad ride. First time I rode, it was an outside seat towards the front. That ride had pretty nasty headbanging on the zero-g roll and corkscrews. Second time I rode in the middle in an inside seat. This time, there was no headbanging and was pretty fun. This thing has hardly any force though. A little bit of hangtime, but not much else. Just make sure to ride in an inside seat, otherwise it will be rough and unenjoyable.

I was shocked of how good of a ride this was. I wasn’t expecting anything special, but it was still fun. I was shock of how much hang time I got. I was flying in my seat. I also like the color of the coaster. It’s very pretty and shiny. I feel like this ride ended a bit too soon than I was hoping for. But maybe it’s because there was no mid-corse breakrun. This is probably the best floorless coaster that I have ever been on.

The interlocking corkscrews are somehow taken a little more interestingly than most others, based on how they slide into them from a turn. I don’t recall noticing smoothness one way or the other.

This was a pretty good floorless. Definitely not one of the best but it was enjoyable and the clear third best ride in the park to me. It's short but fun. It's very smooth and super quiet for a B&M. The inversions are fun and have a decent amount of force but are not as forceful as most B&M loopers. I'd say this is better than Firebird and Rougarou but that's about it.

It's pretty fast and it feels quite smooth- I usually have no problem with floorless restraints (except for Firebird and Rougarou, ew.), this being another example of a good B&M floorless. Count how many times I said floorless in this review lol

I like that I get to ride with 3 of my friends but it almost feels like your on top of each other. Everything except feeling on top of each other is great and is a must do at Six Flags New England.
