Airtimes Capacity Dead spots
One of Intamin’s first rides is this “racing” wooden coaster, American Eagle. The ride definitely seems like it’s been around for some time as it’s not in great condition. Although it doesn’t bother me, I do have to say that American Eagle is a rough wooden coaster. It’s not terrible but certainly noticeable. The location for this ride is also very strange. To get to this ride, you have to walk a very extensive path and enter a new atmosphere to join the queue. Speaking of the queue, the wait for this ride was absolutely brutal. I wouldn’t be discussing this if the ride was actually popular between guests. But this ride is an outdated and unpopular ride. So the reason I had to wait so long was because of the absolutely abysmal operations for this ride. Seriously, well over five minute dispatch intervals and the operators didn’t seem to care about their job at all. Luckily, the layout was decent. Some fun airtime in the first and second halves, which I didn’t expect. However, the helix has to be one of the most unnecessary elements of all time. It’s so drawn out and you take it with absolutely no speed. It’s funny, but not that enjoyable. Overall, a decent ride with terrible operations.

Airtimes First Drop Duration Rattle Dead spots
I remember riding this giant wooden racing coaster at Great America both in 2012 & 2013 and really enjoyed it! The turnaround helix was the highlight IMO. However, I have heard that it's gotten pretty rough in recent years and think it could easily benefit from an RMC treatment. Or better yet, a full-on GCI/Gravity Group re-track.

Its a classic, but im not a fan. Its rough and over rated in my opinion. Glad to say i rode it, but i wont ride it again.

Location Rattle
I found the blue side to be really rough through the Helix. I like the red side more because of the extra airtime I think it's maybe one extra airtime hill on Red. I don't have the nostalgia for Red or Blue like some do but I would say I favor the Racer at Kings Island more than the Blue side but not the Red.

Airtimes Fun Layout
Its good, but not quite as good as red side.

Airtimes First Drop Duration Dead spots
Slightly rougher than last year's Red side but this one is still such a great coaster. The first drop is fantastic in the back row and pretty intense for how old it is. That first couple of airtime hills before the helix seemed even more insane this year on the Blue side. The entire train and I seemed to be floating for a full second or two. You get to the helix and the intensity goes down for me. It's a cool concept but it's super long and doesn't do anything for me. After that, it picks up again with some nice airtime hills. So I love this layout outside of the massive helix but the helix is still a marvel to look at. It's also a very long ride so you get a ton of value. 3.5/5 stars

Airtimes Dead spots
The first half was surprisingly good and had plenty of airtime. The second half was so trimmed that it was a real snooze fest.

Airtimes Comfort Fun Dead spots
It’s old but still dishes out a few moments of quality airtime and pretty comfortable even in the back. It’s pretty slow though. Funny that it has a similar issue as viper but viper as more aggressive air.

Airtimes
Still a great Woodie after 40+ years. Also had the opportunity to ride the blue side BACKWARDS in 2013.
