First Drop Location Duration Layout
Definitely a front row ride. The back is worth one ride for that awesome drop but beyond that it's only good in the front. The layout does close to nothing in terms of any kind of forces and it has a rattle. The sense of speed in the front and the setting is great though.

Comfort Fun Duration Disappointing! Intensity
I rode it a long time ago, and I don't remember much about it. I remember it being quite boring, and I remember enjoying the tunnel section.
-
First Drop Location Duration Airtimes
I actually love this ride. The only rough parts are the turn into the mid course brake run. The airtime on it though is honestly not the best. Also, the tunnel at the end is a terrifying headchopper effect.

Overall this was great, the views from the top are spectacular. The first drop is brilliant too.

Location Disappointing! Discomfort Dead spots
I rode in the back row in April, and I have never been in so much pain on a rollercoaster. I was looking forward to that 'iconic' drop but ended up being so hammered by the restraints and seat in front as soon as it started that I could not wait to get off. The whole drop felt like squeezing into a kid's high chair and then rolling down a cliff. I don't understand why people think Grand National/Big Dipper are too rough, compared to this they're like going for a massage. I still have bruises from smacking my knees and thighs into the crappy seats. Terribly designed piece of shit that should be sold for scrap and replaced with an Intamin/B&M hyper. I really think Arrow were way out of their depth with this.

Location Duration Rattle Disappointing! Discomfort
This behemoth with its beautiful location near the sea and overall nice appearance may be iconic, but for me, the ride was disappointing. I did not expect huge amounts of airtime and knew it can rattle quite a bit, but it turned out to be one of the roughest coasters I have ever experienced - when sitting over the axis, I yelled out of pain several times. In the second row, it was still far away from smooth, but bearable. The airtime was, if even there, mostly weak - the only really intense moment was the first drop, the rest of the layout is fast-paced, but doesn't do a lot... At least, it has an epic soundtrack I really enjoy!

Incredible first drop in the back, and the rest is good fun

A good fast coaster with incredible views of Blackpool beach - during the illuminations the view is incredible. Lap bars also add to it by feeling like you are going to fall out at the top. Just a bit too unconfortable at certain parts now.

First Drop Fun Duration Discomfort Airtimes Dead spots
The world's tallest, fastest and steepest monorail! Jokes aside, the view going to the top of the lift is incredible! Crazy drop with violent laterals and ejectors! Very long ride with 1 good ejector moment into the mcbr!

First Drop Location Rattle Discomfort
It is an old ride, a classic for the UK, fun first drop and scenery, but rough and outdated

i liked the triangles

First Drop Location Duration Discomfort Airtimes
Very disappointing that this is the UKs tallest coaster, it has a good first drop and that's it. Its a boring monorail after that

First Drop Location Disappointing! Discomfort Dead spots
The first drop, and the stunning views get the stars. The rest of the very long ride gets nothing, its so rough it's just not enjoyable. Found it significantly worse than Grand National, and we only sat on row 3. Glad I've ridden it but I won't be doing it again until they finish retracking it all

First Drop Location Fun Theming Airtimes Layout
The ride is so fun! Rode this a few times on my trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and I was not disappointed. The layout is very basic, but the ride is so enjoyable that I just ignored that. There is also no airtime at all, and only a little theming. I still really enjoyed the ride though :)

First Drop Location Duration Discomfort Airtimes
A hyper providing some great on coast views due to the location of the ride. It has a long duration with a great first drop! But i mainly like hypers for Airtime and this offers little to none. It is a bit discomforting but not to bad overall.

First Drop Lap Bar Fun Theming Capacity
A great classic. It is great, bumpy fun and it is actually crazy how this ride is so good even though it is so rough. You will be laughing all the way through it’s strange but fun layout and get thrown side to side throughout it which is great. It is a weird hyper coaster which focuses more on lateral forces than airtime which is why some might not like it but I’m all for it! It’s quite a unique experience for Europe and more people should ride it for what it is.p instead of expecting insane airtimes (which isn’t really that bad at all e.g. the mid course gives good air) and that drop is one of the best out there! Shame it only runs one train though.

First Drop Pace Harness Discomfort
Had 3 rides over 2 days on this great big red and blue thing. Wasn`t expecting much but that first ride I had on it I can confidently say was one of the only times I`ve reached the final brake run and been speechless except for a "holy shit" going back in the station. The restraints on this involve a seatbelt and what I can best describe as a "flying fish job" lap bar. Easy work for airtime room. You don`t truly appreciate the sheer size and scale of this ride until your actually up there at 213 or 235 ft or whatever it is (who cares its bloody tall either way) and everything else around you pales in size comparison. Unlike a modern hyper all slick and slimlined this thing is long, chunky and messy looking. Beautiful sight. You then go down its drop. Bloody. Nora. That things got more whip than every ice cream seller in blackpool put together at the back row, jolting you abruptly to the side and making you feel as if you`ve lost all control. Hands down the best singular coaster element I`ve ever experienced. In the middle it dies down a lot so probably doesn`t hold that title but the back is definitely the one. You then go into a triangular hill with nothing. Maybe the tiniest flutter of floater if your lucky. Other than that nothing. Turnaround is scenic but fast and then you make the return trip. Nothing much exciting really happens here from then on out but it keeps its speed really well. That`s the fastest I`ve ever felt I was going on a coaster and the midcourse which doesn`t slow you down at all is actually scary to me. It just feels so relentless. So that`s basically it. Amazing drop, very fast but can be VERY rough. Second and third rides on it, one back one middle felt like I was going through a smoothie maker at times. The no air on the majority of the course, 2 train ops and headache aside this thing is fantastic for the drop and speed. Easy number 4 coaster

Masterpiece
It's the best in the world by a mile. It's a classic and the views are amazing. The first drop is legendary

First Drop Fun Duration
Really enjoyed the Big One. First drop is daunting and provides some real force and speed as you hit the bottom. From then on it’s a solid, but unspectacular, speed merchant with no real airtime so to speak. The drop just before the midcourse break run is just about steep enough to throw you out of your seat. It’s a solid coaster for BPB, and one which everybody must ride once!

First Drop Rattle Discomfort Layout
I don't really know where to stand with The Big One. It has height, speed, an incredible first drop and a great soundtrack, making for a really enjoyable ride if you get a smooth seat. In the wrong seat, however, it is bumpier than most of the park's wooden coasters and gives one of the most unpleasant rides in the country. On average, it's just fine; definitely try to get on the back car.

Airtimes First Drop Location Rattle
I always enjoy a ride on The Big One. As its name suggests you can see it from miles around, and the first drop is very impressive. While it's a little rattly I don't find it particularly rough, and it's a good long track, with the nice surprise of an extra section around the back of the park.

First Drop Fun Duration Disappointing!
The Big One is hilarious fun. Usually there isn't much in the way of airtime unless you get it on a really good day. It just baffles me why they profiled the airtime hills the way they did. The straight track really kills the chances of this ride being as good as it could have been. The suspense up the lift hill and the janky drop are great fun.

First Drop Lap Bar Location Theming
My favourite coaster currently. Superb first drop. Great height (still the highest in the UK and could stay that way for some time). Great speed. Not nauseating at all so is superb if you can't handle repeated airtime / too much G force. Very thrilling because of the location and constant high ride heights. One of the best decisions ever for the theme park / coaster industry was to build this coaster. Kept Blackpool on the map for a long time. Could perhaps do with a re-theme. Some music as what was done with Icon would be amazing.

Location Pace Rattle
Europe's first hypercoaster, the Big One mostly fails to deliver on its appealing skyline and impressive stats. The ride carries a lot of speed throughout the whole layout, but rattles so much and delivers little to no airtime. It does, however, have picturesque views, exciting pace and a long duration.
