Location Harness Discomfort Tear it down!

The ride isn't shaky enough to call it rough, but it is shaky enough to be an endurance test that is just not a good time at all in combination with the awful restraints. I enjoyed a very little amount of this ride, and it's simply not worth doing again for the slivers that I liked. "Defensive riding" in order to not come off in pain turns the ride into something that is completely unfun as you spend the whole thing bracing for whatever's next instead of, you know, liking what you're riding.

Typical SLC, not the worst that there is. The setting makes it a little better too. I enjoyed it. The operations are ungodly slow, but i feel like thats a UK thing. Or maybe Germans just operate too fast and i got used to it

Headbanging Discomfort

honestly awful ride and if you have a piercing which is still healing or a piercing which has just healed for ur HEALTH AND SANITY DO NOT GO!!! I got my third lobe and helix pierced about two weeks ago and the head banding was so painfully aggressive it knocked out my helix and there was blood everywhere. i’ve never finished a ride in tears and the way it was handled was disgusting. had to go to a piercer in blackpool to sort it out. My lobe was also smacked but could be restored. It is NOTTT piercing healing/newly healed piercing friendly. They need to include this in a warning.

First Drop Headbanging Inversions Discomfort

It's my first SLC and I'm definitely never going on any more in my life again. This ruined my 9th Birthday and stopped me from going on the Big Dipper. I liked that Infusion Lego Model when you first enter that pavilion or whatever it's called. I wish I could have that. The first drop was pretty good, but it was boring, then all the pain started. I hated the bit when you looped up the waterfall, because it was painful and painful and extremely painful. My total head even went down after the waterfall-looping part. My favourite part was when the ride had a sudden break, and I COULD FINALLY PUT UP MY NECK AND RELAX again. At least Rita (in Alton Towers) is worse, because it's got nothing to it, just a headbanging launch, and loads of painful turns.

The "fun" tag is for my friend who wouldn't stop swearing the whole time around and it's the only time I've ever cry-laughed on a coaster.

The only good things I can say about this ride are the location on the water, & the extra cushioning on the shoulder restraints. The worst part of this ride was the double inline twist. Even my sister was crying when we hit the brake run

Intensity Layout Headbanging Disappointing! Discomfort

I really want to enjoy this ride but it's just too rough! It looks very pretty off ride but when you ride it you bang your head a lot and it made my ears hurt. Mayan at Energylandia fixes Infusion's problems with more comfortable trains and smoother transitions.

Capacity Location Rattle Harness

I expected to hate this ride, but it was actually one of the better SLC I have been on: yeah, it hasn't got the vest restraints like Mayan or such a smooth ride as Kumali, but nevertheless, Infusion was bearable for the standard layout. The location over the water makes this coaster look better (but beware of the fountains, they can make your feet wet!) and the throughput was also pretty good compared to other SLC's.

Theming Location Headbanging Harness Discomfort

It’s a shame because some parts of it are quite good at the start, and the theming near the water is really photogenic. It just has the worst restraints I’ve ever used, and is quite painful from the mid section onwards. There are also two inversions in a row that are probably the worst section of any rollercoaster in the world - it’s that bad. You’ll know it when you ride it!

First Drop Intensity Headbanging Disappointing! Discomfort

When I went on this Vekoma SLC, I was expecting this ride to be ?. And it WAS!!! I find the overall ride experience not enjoyable. The first drop is intense and that is probably the only good thing I can say about this. As well as good water theming and elements there is nothing to like about it. It’s rough, Discomforting and head banging. In fact, it thrashed my head around so much that I had a head ache after! It is very hard to believe that someone can like this ride. However this is just my opinion (but you would be lying if you said this ride is the best at the pleasure beach, which I have heard someone say before)

A waste of space, rough and rubbish. Should be teared down, SLC's are not worth the cheap price to build even if they are cheap. The only pro is the location over the water, apart from that it's pure rubbish

Its very rough, with some of the most headache inducing headbanging. Don't need to say anymore. However the only reason i don't rank it 1 star or less is because the location is very good, over the water and all. Makes some nice photos.

First Drop Pace Intensity Harness Discomfort

I REALLY wanted to hate this. I REALLY wanted to jump on the coaster enthusiast train of "SLCs are a load of shite". I went in safe in the knowledge that this would be the worst coaster I had ever ridden. But I just couldn`t. It didn`t turn out that way. Yes, the restraints are bulkier than a HGV and YES it does leave you with red ears for a substantial time afterward. BUT. The layout of it is exhilarating for me. Both times I rode this I did it in the back with people I knew directly next to or in front of me and they all hated it. But I loved it. The drop on this is genuinely amazing. Lovely air, snappy and bloody speedy. The first inversion has some amazing whip and... well I kinda zoned out to the forces after that so I can`t recall every single element on this but the whip, near misses with water and pace of this ride blew me away more than I had ever imagined in my wildest dreams. The final two inversions, although blisteringly fast are a bit of a stinker cause by this point my head was playing a game of pinball between those dreadful restraints but the pain never left me with a headache and was NOWHERE near even close to as bad as I imagined. Maybe I`ve been conditioned to it what with riding SAW and Colossus at my home park pretty much every week but that was my take on things. The second ride I had on it even left me feeling a tiny bit nauseated and what with how often I ride coasters that`s very rare for me. Probably had something to do with the pleasure beach rich tomato pasta and pint of beer I just had before going on this but nevertheless, I digress. Had a sip of water and went straight on the big one after. Good times. I went in thinking it was gonna be the worst thing ever. Got off contemplating whether it was better than Nemesis Inferno, which in my eyes it is.

First Drop Theming Intensity

I really don’t get all the hate for Infusion. Maybe I’m just the right height to not experience severe headbanging, but I’ve never found the coaster to be particularly rough. The setting, over water, is fantastic- it’s one of the most visually pleasing coasters I’ve ridden. The first drop is solid, and there is a strange airtime moment just after the butterfly loop, which is a subtle favourite part of the ride for me. Ok it’s no Nemesis, but it’s a solid invert which is a good edition to Pleasurebeach.

It's quite smooth for a SLC!

Tried this again in 2019 after not enjoying it in 2013... incredibly rough, uncomfortable roller coaster. Heard other guests complaining about the ride too. Not good. Shame as it's a good setting for a roller coaster.

It's a Vekoma SLC, and it comes with all the associated rough riding and headbanging. Not recommended.

Inversions Nice surprise! Layout Harness

When I rode Infusion, it appeared that the polyurethane on the wheels were much thicker than on other SLCs. It was fairly smooth if you sat towards the front of the train and only had the occasional jolt (only at the bottom of drops and on the inline twists depending on where you sit). Not nearly as brutal as some people make it out to be.
