Airtimes First Drop Lap Bar Layout
I was really hyped for riding Hyperion, but after 8 times I'm kind of disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it is a really good and amazing coaster, but when you a it it looks like a beast. The first half until the inversion is amazing, but the rest of the layout is kinda meh. The big airtime hill after the inversion is really weak. When you look at it you think that it will be amazing, but it doesn't pull any airtime. Than the low to ground part of the coaster, that doesn't do it me. In front it is kinda cool because you go really fast, but at the back it just doesn't do anything. However the last airtime hill before the break is amazing. In my opinion Hyperion is a great coaster, but Zadra is way better and I actually prefer Abyssus also over Hyperion.

Airtimes First Drop Pace Rattle
Best steel hyper I've ever ridden. This ride have insane drop, insane first camelback, very good turnaround, insane low to the ground elemenets, comfortable OTS lap bar and extreme speed, that's what makes this ride so good. It haves very good airtime and I know someone could say that 2nd camelback is just mid or a dead spot, but guys it's the thing that everyone loves on B&M hypers so idk what's their problem, the speed hill before this element is a bit disappointing to be honest, but that's the only part on this ride. It also has a rattle on the wing seats, but that's not a big problem for me, but again I can really see that someone just can have a problem with it. It also haves a good theming. Overall it's a great ride and definitely one of the best coasters you I'll ever ride

Perfect in the front, middle seats. You can feel the rattle on all the other seats so it does not make the 5 stars for me, but damn... this is a beast!

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Rattle Dead spots
During my 14 rides on Hyperion, I had many differing opinions about it. It went from being in my top 5 to a rattly mess back up to an elite ride in the span of two days, but this is my final verdict. It’s another really strong modern creation from Intamin, filled with powerful airtime and some forceful lateral snaps. But I don’t know what happened with the outside seats on this. Especially towards the back on those wing seats, Hyperion goes from a powerful beast of a ride to a shaky waste of potential. However, as long as you sit on the inside, you’ll enjoy tons of airtime, intensity, and a smooth ride experience. There is a section of 3 mediocre elements in the middle of the ride, but Hyperion starts and ends with a bang.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Rattle
Oh yeah, what-a-beast! The lay out is truly impressive when you arrive at the park. The queue is long as in barely any shortcut for off peak days but at least well themed compared to the rest of the park. Great train with restraints. I highly recommend the middle two seats where your feet are off the ground. And here comes the only downside, do not take the outer seats especially in the rear. It takes most of the joy away from the ride and the sway is very noticable there, It gave me headaches big time. The first drop is the best I have every experienced. It drags you down like a freefall. WOW. The speed is beyond insane and with the second hill being much lower, the high speed will give you big airtime. The middle part of the coaster, before you enter the ejector and helix is kind of forceless. After that it stays low to the ground and oh boy those ejectors are something. Careful not to hit your neighbour on the right side when it does ;) Before the brake run there are good airtime moments before slamming into the brake run. This coaster is absolutely worth the visit to the park.

Airtimes First Drop Theming Dead spots
I went into this ride expecting it to be mediocre and shaky but was very pleasantly surprised! The theming in the queue and station is so cool and there's even a countdown and smoke before the ride climbs the really fast and tall lift hill! The first drop was shockingly strong with ejector all the way down into a tunnel blasted full of positives (similar to Shambhala). The massive airtime hill has glorious ejector where you are out your seat for so long and the airtime dive loop is absolutely amazing with another pop of ejector into great laterals and hangtime and the low to the ground speed hills and dives are so whippy and fun as well. The airtime and turns are solid except for one hill before the overbank which the train always crawls over because of how drawn out it is and it only delivers weak floater. I rode front, middle and back rows in middle and outer seats and barely felt a rattle, only in the valleys I noticed weak shuffling. Overall Hyperion is underrated and is very fun in terms of snappy transitions and has very comfortable lap bars. One more thing to add is the front row is absolutely insane especially when it's pouring it down with rain because it feels so fast even though it can hurt and be freezing, the views are incredible as well.

First Drop Capacity Fun
I find nothing to complain about on this ride. The First drop is Steep and if you have room on the very good lapbars you are in for a long time out of your Seat. Same for the ejector Hill After that. The dive loop is very fun on the wing seat but it appears to Flip a little Late buuut you have airtime going up the loop :D Twister section is fun on the wings when you feel like you Can touch the grass. I also like the final hills and i LOVE the open, comfortable trains

First Drop Intensity Smoothness
People here complain about the rattle but I rode it multiple times in different seats and every time is was glass smooth. Nothing like a front ride on this in the dark to end the day at Energylandia!

Airtimes First Drop Layout Dead spots
I absolutely love rides that are focused on sheer height and speed and Hyperion did not disappoint. The forces this coaster provides are truly world-class: some amazing sustained ejector airtime during the first hill, some very snappy transitions that provide amazing laterals, and some grey-out inducing positives as well. Yes there is that one hill in the middle that does absolutely nothing, but the rest of the ride more than makes up for it. People complain about a rattle, but it wasn't anything that bothered me. Truly an Intamin work of art here.

Airtimes First Drop Masterpiece Rattle
An intense and powerful coaster. In fact the amazing first drop already provides airtime and it almost felt like riding a Freefall tower - Beautiful! And after the drop the G-forces are so enormous that I'm wondering if there can even be a more intense coaster on this planet (looking forward to riding Intimidator 305). During the plentyful airtimes you also get the sensation that you're flying which I so far have only experienced on F.L.Y. at Phantasialand. I guess Intamin's over-the-shoulder lap bar improves airtime a lot - I also noticed that on Taron. The only con is that on the outer seats the ride can be a bit uncomfortable because of the rattle. The mddle seats are ok though. Overall a great coaster and alongside Zadra a good reason to visit Energylandia.

First Drop Intensity Rattle
The first drop is the best I have experienced thus far. The first airtime hill is ejector airtime. The turn at the end throws you around. Also the second half of the ride has very good pacing with turns and airtime hills. You hit into the end brakes with much speed. The only downside of this ride is the rattling on the outer seats especially at the left side in all rows (except in the front row) where you can't enjoy the ride as you are shaked like crazy. On this coaster I recommend first row (as you can see and feel the height) as well as the last row (but only the middle seats).

First Drop Lap Bar Intensity Layout
The lifthill brings you to the top very fast, and the first drop and the first half of the layout is simply amazing. The turnback is the best I ever experienced. The second half didn't do it for me, I don't really like low-to-the ground, twisty layouts with strong laterals but at least the last small hill has some airtime. Amazing both on the front and back rows, not rattly at all BUT I had my last ride in the middle of the train and that was the worst experience I ever had on a coaster. It was THAT different. Anyways, the first half is good enough to be one of the best experiences I ever had. Still prefer Zadra for the pacing but it's near perfect.

First Drop Pace Fun Rattle
Excellent first drop. First air time hill and the turn around are excellent. 2nd half of the layout is a little sluggish at the start of the day but once it warms up it's much better. Flew a few places up my list after a ride later in the day. As others have said. There was a lot of rattling which is strange considering it's only a couple of years old. It's really bad towards the back, At least on the train we had (1 train ops when I went). Front row didn't have any rattle so I'd recommend a front row ride every time.

Smoothness
It was a wonderful day with my friend Declan. He advised me to to go on the ride as it was “the best ever”. I could see why, the slow climb with gentle rocking allowed me to fall asleep and I woke up as the ride came to a finish. Recommended for those with insomnia.

First Drop Theming Intensity Layout
Hyperion is almost a perfect ride. It's the second highest coaster in Europe, and it's the absolute highest I have been on. So I was impressed about that. I like the theming. Good story that fits the ride perfectly. The lift upward goes fast and smooth, and for some reason I didn't have any nerves going up. I found this very strange, since I have them when I ride Silver Star in Europapark, and that one is 4 meters shorter. The First Drop is fantastic, and so is the hill after that. The rest of the ride is... allright. Decent, but nothing special. That's the reason that I do not give it a 5 star rating.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Rattle Layout
Really good first drop, and quite fast, but other than that it’s just a bunch of airtime hills and fast-paced turns, which provide moderate airtime (both ejector and floater). Quite rough on the wing, and extremely smooth on the inside. Amazing enough ride to make me get 3 rides back to back, but just needs a bit more to it. The queue is quite well themed, with the concept being that you’re on a failed space mission, and has some nice props of planets accompanied by different colours of lights, but it’s unnecessary how long the walk is - walked on 3 times and had to go through the entire queue, with the abundance of staircases being quite annoying, but all in all a great ride, and a solid 2nd/3rd at the park, potentially behind Abyssus.

Inversions Location Layout Airtimes
Hyperion is a good coaster especially in the first half. The second half is more like a ride to the end. Therefore is 4 stars for me. Silverstar (Europa-Park) looks more monstrously and give you more intensity ride than this one.

Airtimes Layout Ejectors
Hyperion delivers an airtime packed layout. It has an outstanding first drop followed by an intense airtime hill that gives an insane amount of sustained ejector- the best single airtime moment I have experienced. The rest of the ride is snappy and aggressive with more fantastic ejector moments and strong laterals.

I had an absolutely great time on Hyperion, my first time it was warmed up and we rode at the back. The first coaster to make me swear in fear for many years. Just absolutely incredible airtime, then the turnaround is executed to perfection. The second half has a lot of whippy transitions that throw you about. Ultimately I prefer Zadra, but it was a close contest.

Incredible roller coaster, comfortably the fastest I’ve been on and you feel every bit of that nearly 90mph as you barrel down that first drop. Some absolutely insane airtime moments including some crazy off axis hills, a bit of a rattle depending on where you sit (near the front and in the middle seams to be the best for avoiding it) but overall a magnificent ride

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Theming
The extremely long first drop in the front row in the afternoon blew me away, the airtimes are amazing and towards the end, there is also an intense twister section, so there is no dead spot during the ride. Additionally, the dive drop is a really cool element. On the outer seats, there is a noticable rattle, but it didn't bother me, the inner seats are much smoother. The only major downside is the ridiculously long queue which seems more like a parking garage with very little theming and some light effects, especially on empty days with multiple rides this long way can get quite annoying. But for this coaster, it is definetly worth it!

Excellent ride. Despite what others say I found there wasn't a dull moment in the ride. Everything from the first drop to the final breaks was pure insanity, only stopping for a brief floater hill midway through the ride. The back row is even more ridiculous and the first drop with a loose (ish) restraint on the back was the first time in a long time I've been genuinely scared on a coaster. Also on my rides, every single airtime hill delivered. There is a slight rattle but I didn't mind it at all, the ride is so good I barely even noticed it, even on the wing seats. Absolutely love this thing.

This was a surprise - but more in a negative sense. It starts of great with a wonderful first drop in a tunnel, but after that it just doesn't compare to the majestic comfortable rides a B&M Hyper offers. It is rattly (especially on the wings) and the ejectors are too much for me. I prefer floater airtime which it only manages to do on one airtime hill.

Awesome ride with some absolutely crazy airtime moments (and sustained too!). The first drop and the first ejector hill are just nuts. Not as smooth as Zadra but it is still very comfortable.

This thing is craaaazy. I love it so much. I have ridden this thing 4 times in a row, no queue times at all today. Two times in the back, two times in the front. The back is quite aight. Love the leftwing backseat. But in my opinion the rightwing front seat is by far the best seat I have ridden in. The wind in your face and being flung everywhere, crazy airtimes. Damn! Love it. Best coaster in the park.

Incredible coaster. The only sad thing is, that Hyperion is in Energylandia alongside Zadra and Zadra is even better. But it's world class / top coaster. My favorite part of the track is the first airtime hill. It's on of the best airtime moments you can have on roller coaster. Perfect!

I just love this ride. A lot of people writing about rattle, but i didn't feel it, even in the last row. The first airtime hill is just trying to take me out of my seat. Floater airtime hill is a small diapointment, but still a good fun.

Airtimes Fun Masterpiece
This ride blew away my expectations. It had so many incredible sustained airtime moments (most of which are ejector), one of the best first drops in existence and a fantastic layout. Personally i'm not a fan of the expression that a coaster feels "out of control" but the one ride that I got on this on the back left wing seat came really close to it. This ride is truely phenomenal. Furthermore Intamins fantastic "unstaplable" restraint design makes this ride just too much fun.

What a beast! From start to finish a masterpiece with the best Ejector I have ever felt, amazing whip and a pretty smooth Coaster. The theming rounds the thing off with being a really nice touch to the experience!

First Drop Lap Bar Rattle Disappointing! Dead spots
Ahh... I really wanted to like this one. It's imposing, I guess? Admittedly the first drop is pretty amazing, and I do have a soft spot for those Intamin restraints, but I really did struggle to find any enjoyment out of this one. Whether it's the jarring rattle on the outside seats, meaningless middle section or just its general lack of personality, I wasn't exactly head over heels for this. It does ride a lot better in the middle seats, plus I appreciate the moments of ejector here and there, but I couldn't help but feel disappointed overall.

First drop is amazing, feels like it goes on forever. First airtime hill was nice, but could be more intense. Second floater hill useless. Beautiful theming :you're travelling through space and arrive on another planet. And it really kinda feels like Rick and morty. Very high capacity : 32/train!! All in all very good ride.

This ride starts of with one of the best drops out there, with amazing sustained ejector. The airtime hill following it provides great sustained ejector, however the ejector is definitely not the strongest out there. The twist and dive following is amazing having great whip at the top and the dive down is fun. After this the ride seems to loose it’s intensity, having a decent Stengel dive which does provide good laterals and sideways airtime, and a pointless speed hill which may as well be straight track and the into probably the most pointless “floater hill” which completely kills the pace. Following this is a combination of pretty intense turns, and concluding with a couple of great ejector airtime hills. Overall this ride is really fun, but nothing insane

In my opinion this ride is underrated in many cases. When it's warm, it's one world class ride. Great ejector, world class turns and and amazing first drop. Unfortunately, the outer seats tend to get very rattely if you don't ride in the first row. It is still far up in my personal rating, even though it has barely been beaten now.

First Drop Intensity Rattle
Absolutely incredible and the first ride in Europe that's been an obvious full 5-star coaster from the start for my liking. You enter the beautiful station through the "O" in Hyperion and take a much too long walk through a neverending queue line. Held in place by the newest generation Intamin lap bars, you then climb up the lift hill and are sent into a first drop that is just so so good. From there on you are having a difficult time comprehending the speed and power of the coaster and you almost forget to enjoy the beautifully long first airtime hill - not the very strongest airtime but well-sustained and not weak at all. The twist and dive ends the first part very abruptly and rips you violently into the direction you were coming from. Now comes the even better part - the one close to the ground. The abrupt banking of the track that follows is so much fun that you cannot help but to continue with your hysterical laughter. The small bunnyhop after that is something I barely noticed, more so the big floater airtime hill following it. It provides exactly what it promises and presents a breather point in the layout. I agree that with more rerides this hill becomes slightly too boring compared to the rest of the layout (i.e. it doesn't match the overall purpose of the majority of the layout), though not enough though for me to take off half a star. The bunny-hop-banking combination after the turnaround is as great as the first time around and the following sharp corners at still very high speed give you some really really strong positive G-forces. The final hill provides great airtime and then you slam into the brakes at a speed other coasters would be happy to reach at any point of the ride. Totally amazing. I do admit that after a lot of re-rides it becomes slightly less exciting as opposed to Zadra in the same park that remains stupidly good each and every time you ride it. Still an obvious 5-star ride and it is still amazing to me how my personal two favourite coasters in Europe are situated in the same park that as a whole is far from being my favourite park in Europe. (Depending on seating position and point of time - I haven't quite decoded the exact relationship - this ride can have quite a rattle or non at all. I might have had luck with my rides, as other people in our group have been detracted by a strong rattle on some of their rides.)

First Drop Theming Intensity Rattle
Amazing coaster with great first drop, especially in the back. Good first ejector, then amazing Twist and Dive element with following Stengel Dive. Both want to throw you away from your seat. Then a little dissapointing Airtime Hill and a Wave Turn but the last part near the ground is very intensive and satisfying. A little disadvantage is rattle. First time I rode it in 2018 it was very smooth. This year unfortunately there was a little rattle, especially on the sides. However I think that's acceptable one. Nevertheless Intamin should take care of it, shame they don't want to.

First Drop Theming Pace Rattle
Energylandia is very proud of this coaster and is showing off a little bit, as Hyperion is located just next to the main parking, really close to the entrance. But believe me, this thing looks magnificent and the showing off is understandable. It is also very well themed, in a style which reminds Star Trek a little bit. The station looks epic and creates a proper atmosphere thanks to the movies which are displayed, lights etc. It is a shame, that final part of the queue is located outside the building, on the staircase - whole atmosphere disappears. In my first ride I was sitting in third row, in the middle - sits are located quite high and I could not place my legs on the ground (which is perfectly possible on the outside). First drop: Wow! It is followed by nice airtime on another hill. Second part of the ride is different - track is closer to the ground, there are nice corners there and finally, there is great portion of airtime close to the end. I was shocked how good this thing is. I went for another ride and, unfortunately, it was much worse than the first one. I do not know what is the reason: maybe the place I took (last row) or train (people complain about train no. 2 on polish forums) - but the ride was very uncomfortable due to constant rattle. It is still, however, a great, intense, well-themed coaster with amazing drop, great pace and nice layout.

First Drop Rattle Pointless
Hyperion has been one of the biggest draws for enthusiasts to visit Poland; a relatively new park in the form of Energylandia investing millions into this seemingly awesome Intamin giant. The theming is a huge step out from Energylandia's cheap and tacky previous efforts, whilst is also the first step the park are making at investing into huge, uniquely crafted experiences as opposed to off the shelf / straight from the manufacturer catalogue tat. Hyperion's first drop is an awesome opener, even more so with a loose restraint; an intense ecstasy powered rush that could never grow boring. That one song that no matter how many times you listen to it, still gives you goosebumps regardless of how long it’s been stuck on repeat. Yet what follows is an irritable rattle that companies you around the rest of the layout, with only one major air time hill to give the ride any outstanding zest. The real sting with Hyperion however is the finale; a totally unnecessary water splash which may appear to be impressive from off-ride, but is significantly discomforting on-ride particularly on the back row. This isn't just a moderate spray either; rather a painful soaking that will see to outclassing the park's actual water rides. Once the ride warms up, the water splash ending is unable to catch you as the train now runs fast enough to miss it entirely. The air time from the first hill grows increasingly wonderful as Hyperion charges on throughout the day, whilst the first drop continues to hold its weight as a superb opener. Hyperion is best experienced at the end of the day with low expectations of what coasters of this calibre can do. Whilst it is a good all round ride, the unmissable rattles and the ridiculous water splash finale detract from what should have been the perfect coaster for a park that is finally seeing sense and shifting towards deeper and more intricate theme park experience.

Airtimes First Drop Fun Rattle
Hyperion provides an excellent mixture of diverse elements: an incredible first drop, both floater and sustained ejector airtime hills, fast transitions, two aggressive Stengel dives and a Twist and Dive element, which is definitely the highlight of the ride, as it combines excellent airtime with a quick inversion and it is taken at an incredible speed. Even though Hyperion uses a traditional chain lift, trains quickly reach the top of the first hill and keep the furious pace right until final brakes. Trains are very spacious and open, giving you an awesome sense of freedom. Taron-style restraints are very comfortable and nice theming definitely adds to the experience. The ride is smooth, although I could feel a minor rattle on the second airtime hill from time to time. While Hyperion is an intense ride, it definitely is not too intense, which is great because it makes you want to ride it over and over again. EDIT - after riding Hyperion more than 20 times I correct my rating and give it full 5 stars instead of 4.5. The ride is just pure fun and slight rattle in the back of the train is not enough to spoil it in my opinion.

The first half of the ride (from the first drop to the floater hill) is really intense and provide some really good ejector comparable to the one on Maverick or SV. The second half is definitely less intense, but still not forceless ; the floater hill provide * some better floater than the one you can find on B&M Hypers, while the Twisted airtime hill and the last airtime hill provide some good ejector , not as forceful as the one on the first drop or the first hill but still intense; The little bunny hops are really funny and the stengle dives ,even if not as intense as maverick ones, manage to throw you around quite a bit , specially if you are seated on a outer seat; Another "benefit" of the edge seat is that the splash down get's you really wet. The only downside of the ride is that it has a rattle, quite an intense one actually, but it does not effect a lot the experience thanks to the restrains, you can really feel it on the overbancked turns and the s curve. In the end is a really good and intense ride (if don't mind the vibration**) that leaves you whit a big smile and a "what did just happen" feel wen you get off of it. I'd recommend it to anyone that enjoy a good intense ride. * In my opinion **I don't know if is a wheel problem or a track deal soo keep in mind that this could change

First Drop Lap Bar Fun Rattle Dead spots
Hyperion is a really fun coaster - but not in the same league as Taron or El Toro. There are many good but not great moments of airtime. The Twist n' Dive is a brilliant moment mixing floater air and twistyness. The Stengel Dives are fun, though not on par with Maverick's. I feel Hyperion could have done more with its height and speed. Still an exciting ride well worth marathoning though!
