to be honest I dont know why people are saying its rough. its actually very smooth for a boomerang..

Fun Rattle Discomfort

I do like this ride, especially the backwards part. It does have quite some rattle though but it didn't really annoy me. What did annoy me was that after only 2 rides I got a bit of a headache.

Theming Discomfort

I've rerode it the first time in 7 years and it definitely aged a bit. Of course, there's no headbanging due to the restraints being shoulder harnesses, but my neck did get thrown around in the cobra roll quite a bit. While cloned a lot, the layout is good for what it is as the forces are quite intense and the soundtrack is amazing for this ride and adds a whole lot. The tunnel on the first lift gives the ride a distinct flavor as well, especially in the end it feels pretty much endless and builds up some great anticipation with the onboard audio. Still, not a ride I need to get on when I'm at this park again, but that's not too bad given how good of a lineup Walibi Holland actually has.

Theming Rattle Discomfort Tear it down!

I rerode Speed Of Sound for the first time in probably 10 years. I did not remember it hurting this much. It was insane how much it hurts wtf. And the cool rockband theme is also completely gone. I do not get that at all. I wish theme parks would all get rid of these Vekoma boomerangs

First Drop Capacity Rattle Harness Discomfort

A cool theme, though the song being played gets extremely repetitive seeing as you hear it being played over and over when waiting in the queue line. The coaster is super rattly, and the restrains are very uncomfortable. But I really enjoyed the backwards part. The loops felt a lot more intense going backwards.

Nice surprise! Duration Headbanging Harness

Speed of Sound is the second worst coaster of Walibi Holland for me. For a long human like me, the ride is really bad. Your head is flying everywhere and your back will hurt. However, it is a nice attraction to experience once but I will not visit it every time I visit Walibi Holland.

First Drop Theming Intensity Layout

I really love the feeling of old Vekoma track, especially when it's been retracked and the trains have vest restraints. I got one ride on this in the back row, and I still love the first drop. The onboard audio wasn't working, but I know how good this drop is when the beat drop is right when you get released. Also, the the backwards looping is really something. Unbelievably intense, that is.

Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity Too short

It was actually pretty fun, and surprised me a little bit. This thing is so intense and had some of the most violent positives I´ve experienced. It´s actually short tho, it´s a boomerang. I thought it would be way more uncomfortable and rattly, but it actually wasn´t too bad.

Theming Fun Intensity

The difference in quality between this and Cobra at Walibi Belgium is HUGE. Even though the layout is the same, Speed of Sound is so, so much better. It doesn't have those awful restraints Cobra has, instead having comfortable vest restraints that do not cause headbanging. The coaster is a bit rough, especially in the cobra roll, but it doesn't hurt so I don't have a problem with its roughness. The looping is pretty intense in the backrow, especially backwards, so that is by far my favorite seat on this coaster. The absolute best thing about this ride is the onboard soundtrack. At first I didn't like the change from Hello World to Thrill Ride, but now I think Thrill Ride works very well with this ride. The soundtrack is synced up with the ride, so it really builds up during the lifthill before the beat drops as the train disconnects from the cable lift. This ride is such a vibe and I love it. Oh, and nightrides are amazing here! You can't see the drop when you're enclosed in the tunnel on the lifthill, which makes the first drop feel even better!

Theming Intensity Rattle Discomfort

It’s an okay ride; I was pleasantly surprised due to the model’s reputation. The theming and onboard audio add a lot to the ride, but ultimately it’s just okay.

Theming Fun Intensity Rattle

Despite a lot of people not liking this coaster I personally loved it. The theming is fun and the soundtrack it awesome. It's a short but intense ride that's sadly not really smooth, especially on the way back it rattled. Nonetheless I really enjoyed it.

Discomfort

I didn't expect much from it, I though it would be just a pointless layout, six inversions forwards and backwards and that's all. However, it was worse than that; it was very uncomfortable, and I felt sick for a short while after riding it. Way worse than the Giant Inverted Boomerang, it has nothing to do with it. I'm not willing to ride its clones (I still have to, though; damned credits!).

Fun concept but the vests absolutely ruin it for me, I can't stand them.

My first classic Vekoma Boomerang and what a surprise it was! I heard so much hate about this type of the coaster so I link it with the SLC's but this experience exceeded my expectations. I love the connection with music and how intense the ride is.

Beside the on board music, it is a stupid coaster. Always try to avoid Boomerang coasters

Despite the Boomerang's reputation and roughness, this is a fun ride. The onboard audio fits well. Nice color scheme & theme. Unfortunately despite the new Vekoma train still terribly rough in the cobra roll. The looping is mega intense.

If this is the best boomerang then I'm really scared to ride another one. That was not enjoyable in the slightest.

Theming Fun Harness

This is my favourite Boomerang, with a really cool onboard soundtrack adapted to the ride as a highlight. There might be some vibrations, especially the sidewinder is a bit shaky, but with the comfortable vest restraints any headbanging is eliminated and compared to other boomerangs, it runs still okay. The theming is a little cartoon-like, but I like it, especially the entrance gate with the ride logo looks very nice. All together, this coaster is great fun.

The onboard soundtrack, when it works (which it did on may last visit), is a cool addition to a rollercoaster classic, that I like to ride from time to time for its quite heavy forces (especially going backwards through the loop), but which I do not find to be really amazing because of its generic and short nature. Surely not bad, but nothing you really want to ride a lot either.

An extremely fun coaster! The backwards vertical loop is really intense as well as the drop but The ride is bit shaky.

Best Vekoma Boomerang I've ridden. The tunnel and on ride audio makes it so much better. And I think it's actually pretty comfortable!
