Fun Layout Headbanging Discomfort Dead spots
Lots of dead spots as most of the ride is simply moving through the forest around it. The best part of the ride is definitely the drop into the tunnel as it picks up a lot of speed and sends the train swinging to the side. As an old arrow coaster the track has plenty of jolts throughout which aren't a huge problem, only a bit uncomfortable. The theming for Vampire is quite weak but as the ride takes place in a big area in a forest it doesn't take from the experience - what little theming there is in the queue and station are pretty good.

Airtimes Theming Fun Headbanging
This ride is really fun and the theming is amazing. The queue is really enjoyable. The ride itself is more intense than expected to be honest, I'd say the first part is more intense than the second part. The swinging effect is amazing and scary at times. But you need to keep your head straight all the time, if you relax too much, you'll risk of banging it as I did the first time. But overall, it's an amazing roller coaster that I rode multiple times

Location Pace Disappointing! Layout
Vampire's nothing special really. Just a small little family coaster. I mean, what do you expect, it's chessington

Vampire is a true classic, both at Chessington and more widely. As with any classics, it has it's flaws, namely the trains which are not comfortable, and the ageing track naturally isn't completely smooth in a few places, more noticeably when at the front of the train. Luckily the back is much less janky and also the best place to ride. The swing feels more natural at the back, and it also gives some really nice intensity on the drop off the second lift, and the famed best part of the ride, the big drop down into the tunnel. The rest of the ride is great fun, good swing throughout the layout, and a good duration as well. The theming, whilst still good, is hampered by knowing how it used to be, although the station and queue retain a nice eery atmosphere. This is a great family coaster, fits so well into the Chessington lineup, and hopefully once it gets to the end of it's service life, they're able to retrack it or modify it to retain it in something like it's current form

Comfort Fun Smoothness Dead spots
This was a pretty fun ride I rode and was comfortable and smooth! Great for someone trying to get into rollercoasters but are quite scared. My main problem is it's really fun, quick and intense at one part than gets quite boring. other than that it's good. I love inverts.

Layout Duration Dead spots
Didn't have the oomph it used to have when I rode it before now but still pretty alright. Not in much of a rush to get back on it but still good enough to do at least once a visit. Maybe that's just my 'old manufacturer bias' kicking in. Also people who say this coaster is rough... I have NEVER experienced even a rattle on this coaster in my life.

Nice classic, but a bit on the rough side.

A classic ride, and a childhood coaster of mine.

Theming Smoothness Duration Disappointing! Dead spots
A classic for sure. And a must do ride to do in chessington. I had one ride on Vampire and it was a unique experience. It was very long and quite smooth for an old ride (comparable to Nemesis). The themeing is great inside the building due to the darkness and ambience leading up to the ride. There was some nice touches in the station (E.G, a statue and light effects). However, the ride experience was fairly tame but enjoyable, this could be because of some dead spots and the many chainlifts which are used. The drop into the tunnel was nice but i was expecting it to be more intense than it was due to the povs flying through the banked drop. Overall, it was a unique experience however not a very thrilling one compared to other attractions.

Theming Location Intensity Rattle
Layout has great moments of positive G's, and some of the swings are powerful and gut-punching. While the SLC esc restraints are a pain, especially on the swings, I didn't mind it that much, but paired with the rattle, if you're looking for a smooth ride, this isn't your thing. The theming and location is outstanding, with a wonderful atmosphere shrouding the area. Also the station smells like badger, not sure if that's on purpose or there's a badger family somewhere in the walls, but it's there.

Nice surprise! Fun Duration Harness Dead spots Reliability
Vampire is a lot of fun, and a great fir for Chessington. It's very long, dashing through the woodlands is fun, and that final drop is incredible. The second half, though, is a little slow. The restraint isn't very fun either, it's on the bulkier side for sure. It's also not very reliable, but that's kind of expected for an Arrow coming up to it's 30th anniversary.

Duration Headbanging Harness Disappointing!
I honestly don't know how people enjoy this ride. The theming is fine, the area has a decent atmosphere and everything looks great for its age, but the god-awful Vekoma trains make the entire ride a rattly, uncomfortable mess. More painful than Infusion and never worth a 60+ minute queue.

Fun Layout Theming Capacity
A decent length, fun ride, though a shadow of its former self, particularly in terms of its once-elaborate theming. Capacity also seems poor, it develops long queues even on relatively quiet days.

Location Fun Layout
This is a great ride. Flying above the forest and the midway is a great feeling. The dive into the tunnel and the sharp turn with the swinging car was great fun.

Location Duration Capacity
Long waiting times might have affected my experience negatively... It was a fun ride with some cool moments, but nothing very memorable in my opinion. Just as things start to get interesting as vehicles speed up, you hit the brakes. Too bad. This said, the wood/dark forest atmosphere is quite nice.
