    Fun

Average wooden coaster. Tremors is a lot better.

    Theming Capacity Launch Dead spots

I’ve taken a ride on the Flight of Fear and it surprised me by way over meeting my expectations of an indoor coaster. It’s a nice break from the heat, just the right enough wait times, and it’s launch was incredibly thrilling! Overall, I love the Flight of Fear and might purchase the Fastpass Plus just for it.

    Location Comfort Layout Too short

Very fun, waits are always short. I love the pace and smooth ride.

First Drop Comfort Smoothness Too short

I’ve really enjoyed riding the Orion this season hands down one of my favorite coasters in the park.

    Intensity Headbanging Discomfort

As much as I love riding the Invertigo, there are definitely good days for this ride and extremely bad ones. I am indefinitely a small person both in stature and weight, this can also mean I’m pretty fragile. When first descending; like on most rides, I kept my head against the headrest. Only soon I figured out that wasn’t going to work because I was being thrown around within the restraints. Because of the intense jolting I leaned my head forward off of the headrest slightly so that I wasn’t being thrown around, this resulted in my neck whipping forward and down toward my chest. At first I though I had broke my neck or unaligned something, it may just be a pulled muscle but it was once painful and uncomfortable. Invertigo was hands down one of my favorite rides but now I am too disappointed to ride it again as well as in fear that next ride will not be as forgiving. I am glad I came off with only a minor injury.

Inversions Location Layout Rattle Capacity Discomfort

A solid ride that is unfortunately hampered by the restraints. They're very uncomfortable and provide very little wiggleroom. The layout is fine, but nothing really to write home about. There is a noticeable rattle and headbanging, but only in a few sections and I didn't find it to be too unbearable. Overall, I think Vortex is just okay. Most of my main grievances would be solved if it was converted into a floorless. It would also cut down on the long dispatches too.

    Theming Launch Hangtime Capacity

What a fun ride. Some of the best hangtime you'll experience on a coaster, and with 2 solid launches. The theming is also great, especially for Cedar Fair standards. The turns and loops provide some nice positive Gs. Its compact layout reminded me a lot of Maverick, but considerably less intense. The JoJo roll at the beginning of the ride makes you almost fall out of your seat. Definitely do not miss this one while at Carowinds.

    Location Intensity Capacity Discomfort

One of the scariest and most disorienting coasters I've ridden and I have 53 credits under my belt. The feeling you get plunging into the water with all your body weight on the restraint is a strange feeling. It flips you around a lot and half the time you don't even know what is going on. Nighthawk is definitely not for everyone, but it's a very unique experience. My only complaints are that sometimes the restraints were a bit uncomfortable, and the dispatch times are notoriously bad.

    Inversions Pace Intensity Too short

A great invert that is packed full of great elements and intensity. The back row is seriously no joke. The only gripe I have is that it is a little short. Maybe just add another element or two and it has potential to be the best B&M invert.
