Capacity
Would be a hell of a lot less disappointing if the operations on this ride weren't so anemic. I'm not a fan of the nitpick-prone, whiny enthusiasts, but I'm gonna use my card here: Grizzly just isn't a good ride. And probably not interesting enough to be RMC'ed, quite frankly; the layout in the abstract (even with its shakiness and pacing issues removed) leaves much to be desired. Intamin Mega-Lites can be compact, CGA... think about this valuable real estate...

First Drop Pace Ejectors Rattle
Ride's gotten noticeably rougher and darker brown since the glossy opening-year experience but wow, Gold Striker gets me every time. That little bunny hill before the final banked turn is delightfully forceful. Proud to have this at my home park :)

Intensity
My first (and home park) invert that does just the right job for its stats and layout. Manages to be compact while also spread out and surprisingly picturesque (that zero-G roll over the entrance)! Surprisingly forceful and more noticeable each time I ride it. I don't get around much -- this is one of only two inverts I've ridden, the other being a Batman clone -- but this is superior, I think.

First Drop Location Fun
It's an ELITE coaster. ??

First Drop Pace Disappointing! Discomfort
I hate foot numbness some inverts have & I love hangtime. Montu has neither. Well it does have a little foot numbness, which is why this ride is just ok. It's the most overrated coaster I've ridden but it's fine.

First Drop Fun Intensity
This is not Millennium Forceless. It's very intense and it has some great floater airtime moments along with a great pop of ejector. Stop hating on it fellow enthusiasts.

Nice surprise! Pace Masterpiece
when i first went to dollywood in 2020 i was planning on making the infamous lightning rod my 100th roller coaster. that was the day it went down for what we would soon find out was a hybrid re-track. i was worried i would regret my visit, and i meandered over to thunderhead thinking it could be fun but had heard nothing about it. it not only became my 100th coaster, but one of my favorite coasters of all time. i adore this coaster beyond words. it’s fun, intense, full of amazing laterals followed by rapid air time pops and i soon realized this kind of ride was exactly my cup of tea! i now have some of china’s GCIs on the top of my bucket list and purchased a dollywood season pass so that i could return to that beautiful park with this wonderful attraction i’m in love with. oh yeah, i might even personally prefer it over lightning rod now that i’ve finally ridden both in 2021! don’t sleep on this ride, especially if you love GCIs and fast paced wooden twister layouts

First Drop Intensity Rattle Headbanging
It was pretty fun and the vertical loop backwards is so intense but the cobra roll had headbanging.

Airtimes First Drop Smoothness Reliability
This is my number 1 ride by far. The first drop is extremely good. The ride smoothness and the outerbank turn on the second airtime hill is on another level. I got 8 rides on this thing Monday and in the morning it was good. But at the end of the day it was on another level! Back row right seat is in my opinion the best spot for this ride. The downside is that fat people may not ride out of safety reasons, and the ride is down a lot during the day.
