I don’t understand the hate for this ride. Sure, it could be smoother in the back row, but the drop gives nice floater, the zero g roll did too, and I grayed out HARD in the tilted loop on all my rides. I do wish it were longer, but it's a good ride for what it is and I LOVE the dispatch sequence

I had rode the ride 6 times, three on each side and I was so hyped for this. Being completely egg my honest my first rides I was so underwhelmed - there was an uncomfortable rattle and just didn’t live up to the hype. Then I rode it at night later and it was definitely better but still wasn’t world class, then for our last ride we rode it in the front row on the green side at 10:00 pm while the fountain show was playing. My lord wow. Butter smooth and it was the first time all day for us that the audio was playing. It was absolutely magical. Do not miss out this ride and do it in the front row even if it adds a heck of a ton of time because it is so worth it.

I had never had as good as I ride on this than my most recent. I was sat in row 5 so I thought it would be nothing crazy because I wasn’t in the back row but little was I wrong. This thing genuinely flew and rivalled the likes of reborn. So underrated

For me, Katun was easily the highlight of Mirabilandia, even my favorite coaster of our coaster tour through Northern Italy:
This massive invert reminds me a bit of Monster at Walygator, but even taller and faster. The sense of speed is relentless and every element is taken with a lot of force - I particularly enjoyed the first two inversions (I absolutely love a good zero-G-roll in general). It is a great ride, but there are also some minor flaws: Katun is the roughest B&M invert I've been on, in some rows, I had a little headbanging. Nothing dramatic, but the rattle detracts from the experience. Additionally, the station building and the surrounding area is nicely themed, but during the layout, there is no decoration. Operations were painfully slow (with only one train running), but it was also hampered by other park guests behaving foolish...
But nevertheless, Katun is an absolute beast of intensity which is worth the way to Mirabilandia!
