10 laps did feel a little excessive but at least I got my moneys worth

    Layout Theming Disappointing! Pointless

The layout is good. I hate this ride for what it stands for. The gutting of an extremely fun family attraction for an abhorrently cheap looking zombie theme that rips the ride of all its character and fun for nothing. During the indoor walkthrough, theoretically your tension level should be SKY high but instead you feel. Absolutely. NOTHING. I loved X, a fantastically fun indoor lightshow with happy music, a feelgood attraction guaranteed to put a smile on your face, a dance through colour. The Walking Dead - The Ride destroys all of this for what, a cheap IP for a dying franchise that loses relevancy by the minute? From the bright colours and effects to literally just nothing. Pure black, the most significant downgrade from anything I have ever personally experienced at a park. I've sworn off ever riding this again until either they make drastic improvements to the current IP, or gut it entirely again for a theme that suits the ride. An utterly pointless ride when Saw literally exists a five minute walk away. Bring back the disco, or at least a theme that can suit the family coaster that it is. Something that doesn't make me think I just wasted half an hour of my day when I walk through the exit corridor.

After a truly insane cycle on the Capriolo (Airmaxx), I immediately went on this without a break and because of that I deserved the miserable time I had on this thing. I was almost sick on this Go Gator because it was already building up from Airmaxx, and I'm pretty sure the op actually only did 7/10 circuits. He definitely knew what was up, and Kudos to him. I gave him the classic thank you with a thumbs up and went my way after I was done. The Airmaxx was worth it though, I just need to learn that "speedrunning" a park can sometimes have it's consequences. It's a fun coaster model don't get me wrong, and this low ranking is not the fault of the hardware, it's just this review serves as more of a warning if you think it's a good idea to jump immediately from one of the most intense flats ever to a coaster no matter how small with no break in between the two.

    Headbanging Harness Tear it down!

I did this 11 years ago now when I was 7 or 8 at a local fair, and it STILL stands as the worst roller coaster I have ever done. The trackwork is poor. The transitions are painful. The most violent headbanging I have ever experienced on a coaster. Vile ride, has OTSRs, goes around twice, absolute misery. There is not a single redeeming factor that Blizzard has except for being a +1 to my coaster count. Although a part of me kind of wishes to get back on it to see after all these years if it still holds this reputation, or if this is simply just an outdated viewpoint. With Hammond having sent this ride into storage now, the chances feel slim but I hope one day that it comes out of hiding for a possible chance at redemption.

    Theming Lap Bar Smoothness

I love how miniscule the restraint is. The theming fits very well too.

    Fun Discomfort

Sharp jolts into the turns but this can be negated by leaning into them, fun enough ride either way

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Intensity

Very very intense loop with great ejector in both directions. Trust me, that backwards loop in the front is not to be messed with

    Comfort Fun

Perfectly fine wooden coaster, I like the curved drop into the turnaround

Comfort Fun Duration Launch Dead spots

Incredible ride. Inversions are fantastic and the entire ride is just an absolute ton of fun. The interactions with other rides are a nice touch but unfortunately you don't notice it much when riding it. The launches aren't very powerful and serve as more of a "boost" than an actual launch to get the ride up to speed. The best parts of the ride are actually sequential: barrel roll, into an airtime hill, into a completely dark tunnel, into the second boost, into the immelmann. That's a brilliant highlight there. Could probably do with the launches being sped up by about 5mph, Enso is good and I need a second opinion but not willing to splash out that much for it again

Lap Bar Pace Rattle Capacity Discomfort

Rattles you to the core. Very, very unfortunate

First Drop Lap Bar Duration Dead spots

Incredible first drop in the back, and the rest is good fun

    First Drop Pace Intensity Capacity

Bit of an ear-knobbler but the restraints are so aggressively padded I don't really care. First drop and all inversions have great power to them.

    Discomfort Tear it down! Pointless

Yowch. An endless rattle throughout with uncomfortable valleys and just generally feels pointless. No enjoyment out of this at all, and the brake run is the final nail in the coffin with a stupidly harsh slam forwards as your car halts to zero in a millisecond. Twice.

  • Robert A.

    Inversions Hangtime Discomfort

I don't enjoy the first drop as much as everyone else does, the trims ruin it completely as you go down at such a sharp angle WHILE slowing down. The rest of the ride is great though with the downwards barrel roll being a highlight.

A very well done family coaster that brings laughter all the way through

    Theming Rattle

One of SBF's finest. A complete meme from beginning to end with a hilarious jolt halfway through (classic Italian engineers).

Nice surprise! Pace Fun Capacity Inversions

Surprisingly good & smooth! Inversions do have a slight rattle but it's not enough to bother me all that much. Would gladly reride

    Lap Bar Inversions Comfort Theming

Aggressive ride with fantastic inversions with the mist tunnels & corkscrews being the highlight. I started seeing so many stars on those rolls so it isn't very marathonable at all, but still it's very very fun. Best restraints ever too, just wish they did more with the outdoor area. It would be so funny if you had a near miss with a clothesline that had shirts on it for example.

    Pace Masterpiece Layout

It's a brutal ride, let me get that out of the way immediately. There are slams at seemingly random spots with no pattern though with a few runs you can start gathering where they are as they still have consistent locations. Despite that, Megafobia sits proudly at my number one spot. It's a brutal, unrelenting, merciless gauntlet that literally does not let up until the final brakes. It's an exhausting drug where I hit the brake run thinking "that's the last ride of the day for me" but one Capri Sun later I'm running back in the queue making a beeline for the back row for another lap where the process repeats word for word. My onride photo of my first ever ride explains everything - not knowing what to do with my hands, and a face that expresses seven different emotions. It's an abusively incredible ride and I didn't even sit anywhere near the front on any of my four rides; back row supremacy is where it's at. Despite everything it throws, it's an impossibility to not want to just throw your hands up as nothing stops it from roaring through a fantastically done layout and you have no clue what's coming up next. In my eyes, perfection. And I still need to do it when it rains.

First Drop Nice surprise! Intensity Theming

This ride wowed me in so many ways. That first drop has everyone screaming at the top of their lungs, me included, and that ejector hill is pure fun. The overbank is where things dip down slightly, it's weird but good still. The loop was notably the least impressive part of the ride for me, and the track from that into the MCBR is a bit shaky, but it's not a ride ruiner. The roll offers great hangtime and the final turn and helix offer some high level intensity to end things out with a bang, just like all the other Eurofighters. I think a lot of thoughts when it comes to this ride, but at the end of the day it's some fantastic fun.

    Layout Airtimes

Good second half as the ride keeps getting more intense through the course, back left is the best seat for laterals. A rare case of a wild mouse providing no airtime but this may be down to the seatbelts

  • Robert A.

    Layout Duration Dead spots

Didn't have the oomph it used to have when I rode it before now but still pretty alright. Not in much of a rush to get back on it but still good enough to do at least once a visit. Maybe that's just my 'old manufacturer bias' kicking in. Also people who say this coaster is rough... I have NEVER experienced even a rattle on this coaster in my life.

  • Robert A.

    Discomfort

Very cramped seats. I'm very average height and my knees were pressing against the front of the car quite a lot. Reminds me of going on flights with the aforementioned lack of leg room. Good nostalgia value though

  • Robert A.

    Theming Comfort Intensity

Just a ton of fun. I was laughing throughout, it's a fantastic addition to the park. The helix when you're facing down is just so good as well. I do feel like it ends pretty quickly though but at the same time it feels like a complete package.
