Coaster reviews

Alpenexpress was never the best ride at the park, however my personal favorite moment was the dip into the darker part of the cave. Since this version does no longer have that cave it will rank lower than the OG. Shame, Might have been better to put something new and innovative rather than simply replacing an already kind of boring and dated coaster.

Masterpiece Ejectors Duration Rattle
Hard to choose tags on this as it deserved almost all the pros that are available. Not only is this ride a fantastic coaster (and finally a true stand out ride for europapark) but also a massive technological flex for mack rides from an engineering standpoint. Shame the outside seats are kind of rattly but this seems to be a common problem with big dippers (or strykers in this case)

Rattle Pointless
Oh dear. What happened here? My expectations were not supper high but I do not get this one. I was kind of excited about the tiny wing coaster and I was expecting a fun introduction for kids to inversions. However, this ride was really rattly (even though being a brand new installation of a model that is known for its smoothness). What is more, the ride experience was not really rewarding at all. The ride is short and the inversions feel boring and pointless. This model does not feel like it is made to be a family coaster and I don't think it holds up well as such. A true shame as Legoland could have really done with a good new ride. Unfortunately, this is not it.

Fun
It was great to ride this coaster after many years of joking about the rough chain connection of this ride. Since 2020 it has become a meme between me and my friend and it truly did not disappoint :D . Besides that though the ride was actually really fun but still a bit on the rattly side. I also find it really cool how the coaster is placed over the park and basically stretches over all of it. It kind of feels like the result from a 10x10 planet coaster challenge.

Theming Launch Fun
Very well executed and high quality ride. It is great to see a coaster made for kids that is not super old/low quality unlike most of its competitors. The only thing I think is non ideal with this model is the tall walls of the cars which likely obstruct the view of short riders making them feel less free during the ride. It's not an issue for me anymore obviously but as a kid I would have hated it for that reason.

Airtimes Fun Ejectors
What a gem. The ride perfectly misses its point being a family coaster prividing some of the strongest ejector airtime out there but that's the reason why it is so good. A true one of a kind ride and such a shame to see it go (especially in favor of a big dipper...)

Bonus points for the stare that front car gives the waiting guests.

Nice surprise! Intensity Rattle
As someone who thinks positive g forces are massively underrated I have to say this ride is absolutely fantastic. The layout is great and the forces unbelievable (in fact the ride is so intense that you are only allowed to re ride twice in a row before having to walk around the long queue). Unfortunately the ride is very shaky but I did not find it too painful to break the experience.

Fun
I am a big fan of the modern gerstlauer family coaster. The switchtrack is a nice gimmick making this ride stand out against others. I am sure once the terrain is complete this will be an absolutely fantastic ride.

Theming
Review for Rock N Rollercoaster: Just an awesome experience with the Aerosmith tunes and fantastic vibes inside. I had it ranked at 37 and from what I have seen about the retheme it won't ever get close to that position again.

Layout Rattle
great layout with great potential, if only it was smoother. I also preferred the old color scheme

Location Harness Disappointing!
I love how it is built into the park and I like that they chose to go with the old restraint type as it is superior to vests (if the ride is smooth, which it is). Unfortunately Monster is quite a weak invert compared to other ones I got to try, therefore making it rank way lower than I was expecting.

Banan ... That means we ride!! ___ No but seriously. This is just some good classic fun. I love the long lifthill and funky sound it makes when leaving the station. Also some fun airtime to be had plus it gets the rare vintage model bonus.

Intensity
Quite a shame theres not more of these. This must be one of the best family coaster models (maybe a bit too intense for the target audience but I like it)
-
Rattle Harness
Quite a shame. I wanted to like it but its just kinda painful. The parts are wither really rough and snappy (which, with these restraints is bad) or they are boring and forceless. I don't agree with people who say its intense. I think its just a poor combination of roughness and bad restraint.

Easily the best wacky worm!! No trim on the drop
-
It sure was better than the SLC's, however there were no positive sensations about the ride.

Airtimes Fun Rattle
If you sit in the back and not on the axle seat this ride is actually great fun. It has some real fun drops and exceeded my expectations by far. I was basically just expecting S&S version of Bandit though.

First Drop Fun Ejectors Intensity
Oh Boy, Where should I start with this ride. Fønix is an absolutely fantastic ride experience starting with a great drop and delivering all the way through, as it should be. Once again Benjamin Bloemendaal shows how he is a true expert at his craft and proves that a fantastic coaster neither has to be tall nor launched. It does leave off where lech coaster started, however, not quite as intense, which I think is a shame. The complete package works really well though and is just incredible fun. A shame it has vests though :(

Fun
Easily the best family boomerang. (and that comes from a hater of these). For once I actually enjoyed myself on this one.
-
Comfort Dead spots
Good but could probably be more.
-
Two stars for two jolts.
-
A bit on the slow side, even for a powered coaster, but I liked the attitude of the operators.
-
Pace Fun Duration
First half is decent. Second half really packs a punch. Great Ride!!
-
Airtimes Discomfort
Great ride but overrated too. A shame the trains are so annoying.
-
Fun Too short
Fun ride, however, a bit short. I wish there was a better use for the part after the drop track (possibly with a small launch).
-
Fun Capacity
Probably one of the best of its kind. A shame legoland didnt get an option with more than one train though.

Theming Disappointing! Dead spots
Not a fan of this version of the dragon coaster. Theming on the dark ride portion is pretty good but the coaster part is really short and does nothing. Should have just been a darkride probably.
