A true classic wooden coater. The way it takes you through the woods and the tunnels really helps accentuate the speed. The mid course lift is kind of a momentum killer but the helix that follows offers incredible forces. An even better ride after dark.

One of the best first drops ever. I felt like we just kept curving as we went over the top. The lift hill is also a plus because it gets you up there so fast and gives you extra momentum. The rest of the ride is enjoyable but it really is all about that initial descent.

Rode this years ago. So much ride in such a small layout. The drop is fairly intense but its the bunny hops are where this ride shines. So much air. The buzz bars make all this possible. I literally had to hold on as I felt like I could have been thrown from the seat. My brother, who is 6 foot 6 did get some pain from the intensity mixed with the buzz bars but still wanted to keep riding.

The intensity of the airtime on this ride is incredible. Scary amounts of force. As a larger rider I worried about the restraints but had no issues fitting or with comfort before or during the ride. My only complaint is the length of the ride but with the amount of force packed into its ride time its really a nitpick. Don't skip this ride if you come to hershey.

This was my first looping coaster and now it is my daughters(5) first looping coaster. For an almost 50 year old ride it runs pretty smooth and has enough intensity that I never mind riding it. I think the layout of Hershey coasters are all great and improved by the fact that other coasters are in close proximity. Plus you have to love any coaster that rides through its own loop.

I remember riding this when it opened and it was great. but then coming back in the years after it seemed to get faster and bumpier. But it was even better. I did not ride in the last few years of its life before RMC but this ride deserves better than its rating for the end of its time. If nothing else it was always better to me than lightning racer even with the bumpy ride.
