I saw how similar this ride seemed to the soon to be build Tormenta at SFOT so wanted to get a feel of what this type of coaster felt like. I was impressed by the amount of effort they put into theming which I was expecting at all, there was entire story moving through a few rooms before getting to the lines to board ride. How can somebody be too short AND too tall just to GET INTO the seat?! What a bizarre situation, I struggled to prop myself into the seat [height: 5' 4"] but yet trying to get in I had to awkwardly tilt my head down and then wiggle into the seat? A bit confusing but after I got situated it was fine.
The anticipation of being put to the first drop and looking over for a moment before being let down was a nice touch but most of the ride felt a bit boring after that, which was a little disappointing.

Honestly, everything about this ride was a surprise. The single person seating, the incredible speed and feeling like I was going one way while the cart was going the other. I loved how intense this ride was. My main complaint is actually the harness which I initially found very comfortable until I realized just how much we were gonna get thrown around. A few times my left shoulder strap kept trying to remove itself from me and then I had the terrible luck of trying to rush to get off and slammed my shoulder into it and now after a full day still feel that ache.

It is so hard to say bad things about this ride because the nostalgia of this ride feel so sacred. Unfortunately, due to its age and being a wooden coaster it just isn't going to go unscathed in the aging department but can easily give headaches that remind me of the original version of the Texas Giant.
