I havent ridden this ride in over 3 years, and I hardly remember anything about this,and this is the only wooden roller coaster that I have ridden, this ride is very special to me because it is one of the first roller coasters that I've ever ridden the last several times I've been to six flags I haven't gotten to this or its been closed,hopefully I can get back on it when I go back to six flags

Very comparable to Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Over Georgia but I liked this one better. Maybe it's because I wasn't in the true back row on a wheel seat but this one seemed much more smooth (especially being a wooden coaster and its age). The pacing on this one was a bit awkward though (especially during the first couple of drops). It starts to pick up pacing and ends up being a fun ride. The airtime was also a bit better than coasters of its size but it was still not great either. 3/5 stars

This is the most underrated coaster I have ridden and its not even close. Going in I expected pretty much nothing out of this coaster because I hadn't heard anyone say a word about it, but this coaster completely blew me away to a level no other coaster has. Every single hill has a crazy ejector kink at the end of it that sends you flying feet in the air due to the absurd amount of room that the restraints allow for. I don't know why this ride is so insane but I'm sure glad it is and I'm proud to say that Judge Roy Scream is an elite roller coaster.

Thanks to the PTC restraints, you can get over a foot of room, and every single airtime hill has an ejector airtime kink that catapults you out of your seat. I thought it would be just another ok wooden coaster, but this shot into my top 50 overall, and it was an incredible surprise.

Judge Roy Scream is an underrated rollercoaster at SFOT. It is a 1970s wooden rollercoaster. It has a top speed of 45MPH. It may be hard to find but it was easy to find for me. And this ride is weird too. This ride has lap bar and seatbelt restraints. In terms of seat selection the front has better airtime but the back is whipper. After you complete the 71 foot tall lift you go down the 61 foot drop. You will get some decent sustained floater airtime in the back car. It’s not that strong but it’s fun. At the bottom of the drop you get some weak laterals since you turn left. The second hill gives good airtime no matter where you sit as it can be considered ejector airtime. The third and fourth hill give some decent sustained floater airtime no matter where you’re sitting. You then head into a turnaround and since it’s unbanked you get some good laterals. You then go down the drop off this turnaround and it only gives weak floater airtime in the back. You then head over a few more hills giving weak airtime before heading over the final little speed hill giving good ejector airtime throughout the whole train. It’s stronger up front but it’s good no matter where you sit. And then the ride ends. Overall this is a fun family coaster and a good coaster for starters. It’s not too intense and it has a height requirement of 42 inches. I’d say this is more intense than runaway mine train but less intense than runaway mountain, pandemonium or even la Vibora. This ride gets a 7/10. This ride has good quantity of elements but the quality is just okay. I don’t mind the roughness as I don’t find it painful but this ride is not smooth.

I also just love how you get to cross under the road and out of the park to reach the station. All in all. This classic wood coaster delivers in a fun ride and a smooth one too.

Judge Roy is actually a fun ride. BUT only in the front row. It's not unbearably rough in the front, and is actually laugh out loud fun, likely because of the roughness. It has a great setting by a lake and really has a great classic wooden feel. Yes it has absolutely no airtime, and yes it's pretty rough anywhere but the front, but it's a great old woodie, and it might not be around for much longer, so get your rides in while you still can.

Let me start by saying I enjoy classic women coasters, I enjoy them a lot, however this one just didnt do it for me. This was one of the most disappointing rides of my massive trip and I hate saying that but it's simply true. The ride had very weak to no airtime, tons of dead spots, and seemed to crawl over some of the "airtime hills". The bright side was how shockingly smooth this ride was for its age, I'll give credit where it is due this was a butter smooth ride. Other than that I feel that I may have ridden this ride before it warmed up and th as t may be why it was not that good, so I'll definitely give it a chance when I revisit the park.
