    Nice surprise! Fun Ejectors

A non wheel seat ride on this is a fun and smooth airtime filled out and back trip but on a wheel seat it’s absolutely wild with some roughness that absolutely flings you on every hill and the airtime is insanely janky. A great coaster for its age.

    First Drop Inversions Intensity

This may not have the whip of older inverts but honestly the insanity of this thing makes up for it. The drop absolutely flings you sideways and every inversion gives a mix of bone crushing positives and elite hangtime. The speed and intensity never let up on this thing and it's a super long ride. The rattle I also only felt on one of my 4 rides and it still wasn't even that bad. I wasn't sure what to expect going into a newer invert but I was absolutely pleasantly surprised.

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Intensity

For being over 100 years old this is better than a lot of newer coasters. This has a great airtime filled out and back layout with some strong sustained moments of strong floater and even ejector with lots of great hills and even a double up and double down. This also has some good laterals on the turnaround and some insane sustained ones on the final helix which still surprises me with its strength every time. The roughness of the ride also adds some nice character and this coaster as a whole is just really underrated probably mostly for the park its at.

    Pace Intensity Ejectors

This thing is running better than ever this year and was already awesome in the first place. This has some awesome sustained moments and quick pops of powerful ejector air, an awesome drop and two really intense helices that usually cause greyouts for me. I also don't mind the straight section too much as it allows you to really feel the speed on it and the wooded setting really helps with that. One of the earlier intamin hypers but still honestly a great one.

First Drop Inversions Intensity Too short

The most modern arrow looper definitely gave us an awesome preview of what could have been... Starting out with that ejector filled drop into the mountainside tunnel is awesome with all that speed from the pre drop speed going into it followed by a really wonky shaped but intense and hangtime filled loop and a high overbank that honestly slows to the point of lateral hangtime, the second loop and sidewinder are really intense and the second overbank is a lot more intense. I'm not sure how good the airtime on the brake run pop is in the front but its alright in the back. Between the fast pace, crazy good intensity and terrain usage this definitely is my favorite arrow looper and I have a feeling it will stay that way.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Too short

This is the best dive that I've ridden by a fair amount and probably the best one out there. Both drops gives some awesome sustained ejector, the valleys and Immelmanns are really intense and those flips out of the inversions even give some floater. There are also some surprisingly good ejector pops in the second half to compliment that unique splashdown element. While it is a shorter ride it does what it needs to very well.

Airtimes First Drop Layout Dead spots

Superman the Ride is such an odd coaster. The best moments on this ride are awesome but as a whole a lot of the ride doesn't feel like its doing much. The first half has some awesome airtime and a really forceful overbank with the it happens hill being one of the greatest elements ever. After that the airtime isn't the best but it still maintains a solid sense of speed and the tunnel dive is really cool. A pretty inconsistent ride experience but still a lot of fun.

    Airtimes First Drop Inversions Disappointing!

Steel Curtain is a really unique coaster with some cool records to add. America's most inverting coaster has an awesome worlds tallest inversion drop, some really good hangtime and airtime with a couple moments of awesome whip. It isn't really that intense but the sheer size and amount of inversions make this a really fun coaster and nice compliment to Phantoms.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes First Drop Pace

Millennium Force will forever be one of the most fun coasters ever. The amazing view, spectacular drop, great airtime and phenomenal sense of speed with some solid positives make this an absolute blast and it does an incredible job keeping that amazing pace throughout the super long duration. A night ride on this is also something impossible to pass up and the bugs make it even wilder.

First Drop Location Intensity Airtimes Dead spots

I really don't understand the massive hyper over this ride but it's still pretty great. The drop is awesome along with those first two sustained airtime moments are great but the rest is pretty weak. The rapid fire turns before the main turnaround are pretty solid as is the turnaround itself with the tunnel being a nice touch. The sense of speed is great along with the rapid fire nature of the whole ride but most of the airtime is pretty weak so I actually preferred it for the laterals. Thunderhead is a lot better but mystic can still hold its own as a great wooden coaster.

    Inversions Layout Ejectors

Copperhead is such a fun multi launch with a long plethora of great hangtime and even some whip filled inversions, awesome ejector pops, decent positives and nice laterals as well as some launches that are pretty fun and don't suck. Definitely no maverick but a super fun mack coaster and a great compliment to Carowinds lineup.

    Theming Inversions Intensity

Manta is a super fun flying coaster and it think a lot of that is helped by the setting over the entrance and theming. The pretzel loop is incredible as always and the other inversions are also a ton of fun, the turns are pretty intense and I love the ending with the cool splash effect and flying past the water fall. My favorite at Seaworld Orlando for a reason.

    First Drop Theming Inversions

Montu is a really good ride but can’t stack up with the greatest of inverts for me. It has a really great whippy drop and long inversion filled layout with some cool Egyptian theming but most of the inversions besides the zero g roll didn’t stand out for me. The coaster also is probably the least forceful b&m invert I’ve ridden and the slower second half is a major dud. Still a fun ride but can’t rival kumba in the same park.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes First Drop Lap Bar

Morgan makes some excellent rides and this one is no exception. Those restraints allow for tons of airtime room and constantly floating up and slamming back down with positives is so much fun. This coaster also has some nice laterals on the long helix and coming out of it. Definitely the best coaster at Dorney.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes First Drop Smoothness

This is a really fun hyper with a great drop and plenty of really sustained floater. The first camelback is one of the most sustained moments of airtime out there and the highlight of the ride for me but everything else is still great. The coaster isn't very intense but the upwards helix after the speed hill is pretty forceful and the outward bank coming off that gives some decent laterals and more good floater. The kisses fountain helix is pretty forceless but super photogenic. Definitely a great new anchor and first impression for the park and a really great coaster as well which very well compliments the near death experience that is skyrush.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity

This feels so much different from every other B&M hyper and that really comes to its advantage. While this is a smaller hyper it has way faster pace than the other ones in that it absolutely flies over every hill which all give pretty much ejector in every row in between some great moments of positives highlighted in that super long 540 degree downward helix. There is also no mcbr meaning there isn't really any break in the insanity and the whole coaster just feels so out of control for a B&M.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes Location Intensity

For the first B&M hyper this one absolutely still holds up. That drop in the back with the pre drop still shocks me with its strength every time and every hill gives some of the better B&M airtime. There is also a great and fairly intense upward helix and some good lateral moments with the twisting drop off the second camelback and wave turn like thing in the second half. This also has an excellent setting through the woods and gliding over the water.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

Airtimes Intensity Duration Capacity Dead spots

This reminds me a lot of twister at Knoebels and that is a great thing. All the hills, turnarounds and the helix throw around with some great airtime and laterals and while there are some slower moments it still manages to keep throwing some surprisingly good forces at you until the very end. More people should get out to this park to see just how good this thing is.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Layout

Talk about a ride that shattered my expectations. From the weird split up lift to the super compact and intense layout, this is a unique and fantastic woodie. From the drop to the brake run you are constantly barraged with very strong ejector and sustained laterals as you fly around some really fast turnarounds and that huge main helix. An absolutely relentless coaster that was also very smooth and just an absolute blast.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes Location Intensity

This is one of the best B&M hypers out there and for very good reason. This has some of the most sustained floater ever in the back on those big camelbacks and the drop which are helped by the extra drag of the staggered seat trains. The smaller hills in the second half give some solid floater too and the valleys and turns give some of the better positives on a B&M hyper. The splashdown is also a super unique touch to finish out an amazing coaster. Diamondback even has some almost ejector level airtime in the front on those big camelbacks but I think I still prefer the back. The wooded setting also gives this a super dark and excellent night ride. Honestly this isn't too far off from being the best in the park, it's that good.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Airtimes Pace Layout

This is an absolute masterpiece of a GCI and for sure my favorite one. Just an amazing mix of awesome ejector pops and lateral filled banked turns constantly changing and throwing you every direction possible. The station flyby is a really cool addition and it's just a super long, smooth and relentless coaster with a bit of terrain interaction. I'm not the biggest fans of millenium flyers but at least the older ones have those great couch like seats to absorb any blow you might get.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Launch Intensity Smoothness

This is the greatest 17 seconds of all time and I think most people would agree with me. That launch is just unbelievable and still my favorite one, that speed is something extremely hard to beat and experiencing it on a coaster is just mind boggling. The top hat is a blur of speed, positives, laterals and even some great ejector going over the top. Such a simple coaster but it's an absolute must do experience. A fair amount of people like ka more but the lap bars, lack of a trim making the drop better and smoothness just give this the edge for me.

    Airtimes Inversions Launch

What a quick but incredible rush this thing is. The launch is sure to catch you off guard with it's pure power and every element will pretty much do the same. The top hat and drop gives some shockingly good sustained ejector with how it hardly slows down over it, the cobra loop pretty much feels like a weirdly profiled immelman and gives some great whip. The heartline roll gives some great hangtime and that leads right into a one of a kind inversion being the flying snake dive which is an absolute blur as it throws you sideways and downwards while inverting. There is also a really awesome upward snap into the brake run and there are some other great ejector pops both into the heartline roll and upwards into the brake run. There is really not much to this coaster but everything it does have is awesome and makes this my favorite intamin accelerator.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Inversions Pace Intensity

My current favorite invert is a nonstop ride with some of B&Ms always amazing 90s invert inversions. The drop doesn't do much for me but it's not a huge deal, the loop, immelman and zero g roll are fairly typical for an older B&M invert but still really intense and fast paced. Nothing before on the ride can truly compare to the batwing however, the one on montu was trimmed and a bit dissapointing but this one was full force and absolutely insane with that much whip and positives at once with that really cool trench. The hill going over the station is the only breather on the ride but even still gives some good floater dipping you right into a crazy whippy corkscrew and an ending helix which gives maybe the best positives in the whole park. There is a reason this is my favorite coaster in the park and my second favorite B&M.

    Airtimes Ejectors Hangtime Too short

Twisted Cyclone is the definition of small but mighty. This packs some super strong typical RMC ejector and three great hangtime filled inversions. The wave turn is definitely the highlight with some crazy strong sustained sideways ejector as well as the drop is great with some awesome airtime and a twist in the middle that provides an unexpected lateral moment. This is definitely very short but that makes for some excellent pacing and for what it packs in it isn;t a huge issue for me.

First Drop Launch Harness Dead spots

Pantheon isn't like ultra elite but still a super cool multilaunch coaster. The first launch is decent and that zero g winder hangtime is awesome, follow that up with some cool slower outer banks that feel like an RMC prelift that lead into the main treat of this coaster. The first swing launch is fun but nothing special but those second and third launches going over that airtime hill are absolutely incredible with negative and great positive g's. The spike is a really fun element with some sustained floater while looking straight down from around 150 ft up, the drop on this is one of my favorites for how long it lasts and the giant outer bank feels very interesting with how it's more about laterals than airtime. The rest is kind of weak and not all that intense but the stall is decent and the final little snaps are good in the front. Definitely a really unique coaster but suffers from some dead spots.

    Masterpiece Ejectors Duration

Magnum really shows the amazing things we got from hand welded coasters. This is one of the jankiest steel coasters ever but oh boy is it awesome. The triangle hills feel so wrong but are way too good, the initial turnaround transition literally slams you sideways and the sustained laterals through it are addicting. The drop and first two hills are also really solid in the back and pure strong ejector in the front. I really hope this classic can stay around for a while because it feels unlike anything else.

  • Cooper Zimmerman

    Location Comfort Ejectors

This is one of the most masterful terrain coasters ever created. The first drop on this is fun but nothing compared to that second drop flying over 200 ft down with sustained ejector the whole time diving into the valley below thunderbolt which absolutely blew my mind. The big turn after is really intense and shows the speed super well but the second half is easily the highlight of this masterpiece with 4 insane ejector pops one literally right after the other and with those restraints you go FLYING. The two hills after that slower turn aren't as insane but still really good. The airtime, intensity, terrain usage, sense of speed and just uniqueness in general make this one of my all time favorite coasters.
