Just buttery smooth. Her restraints are some of the nicest I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Candy looks intimidating, but it's a great coaster for friends and family who are anxious to do anything too intense - looks big and scary, is actually gentle and lovely.

Since 2020 this thing has been the park’s signature attraction, being the first thing people notice when they enter the park as it’s huge and goes right over the entrance. This thing is actually awesome even though it definitely has its on and off days. Candymonium probably has some of the most sustained airtime in the world. Every hill lifts you out of your seat for a good few seconds, especially that first hill, which gives at least 5 seconds of airtime. My only complaint with this besides the fact that it’s not really close to any other coaster, and the fact that this thing TRIPLE STACKS, the airtime isn’t incredibly strong. In terms of B&M hypers, it definitely has some of the weakest airtime. Ride the back for the strongest possible airtime. However, the sustainability definitely makes up for it.

This is just a stupid fun coaster. It has plenty of airtime and so many fun moments. I prefer more extreme forces on a coaster but this is still a fantastic coaster. Its extremely smooth and is just just one of the rides you can't not have fun on. I don’t have really any flaws for the ride except I just prefer crazier rides. For the average person this is just easy to ride over and over again. And again to mention the airtime it has plenty of it on each hill even with trims on two of them it doesn’t affect the airtime.

Candymonium is the newest B&M hyper that I have ridden. It has a wonderful first drop and camelbacks. I like the variety offered by the speed hill on the return leg of the layout. The helix and off-axis drop provide even more variety and excitement. The helix around the fountain and hop up to the brakes complete an excellent hyper coaster. Could it be 400-500 feet longer and ditch the trim brakes? Yes, and it would be a top five ride for me. But Candymonium is still my favorite ride in the park. It is a perfect contrast to Skyrush and its high intensity layout.

SUPER Smooth B&M Hyper with some VERY strong airtime moments, I really have nothing bad to say about Candymonium. I guess it is a little bit short but other then that its great. The layout is also rather unique for a B&M Hyper. Especially that outer bank coming out of the helix.

This B&M hyper coaster has some real forces that I did not expect from B&M. The first drop is great and the on the airtime hills you have lots of floater airtime and you feel like you are flying over the hills. Unfortunately at the end there is a trim brake that makes the last two hills pointless. It's still a great ride that I really enjoy.

Intensity varies a lot. Sometimes a ride in the back row just hauls you over the hills. There are more intense coasters in the world, but a crowd-pleasing, visually stunning B&M hyper is just what Hershey needed at the front gate, and even with the other great coasters in the park, it's worth a ride or two every visit.

Trop de Trim tue le Trim, malheureusement la quasi totalité des bosses sont trimées, le train ralenti beaucoup trop pour offrir du floating intéressant, les coups de Trim incessants ont gâchés mes différents rides. C'est dommage car la première partie de Layout est intéressante avec une First Drop sympa qui n'est pas la meilleur sur un Hyper B&M mais qui fait le travail, une première bosses avec du Floating sympa le tout dans un confort plus qu'acceptable malgré quelques vibrations, hélas les Trims viennent tout gâcher après.

Au Front s'est un hyper plutôt bon avec des floating corrects mais rien d'extravagant en dehors de la 1ère bosse. Par contre a l'arrière s'est réellement décevant car les trims tuent tout les airtimes...

Par contre a l'arrière s'est réellement décevant car les trims tuent tout les airtimes du ride possible au point que sur beaucoup de bosse on ne décolle presque pas. C'est fluide et confortable et fun mais seulement au front. Sinon s'est juste un mauvais thrill au last tellement y ne se passe rien. Dommage... Allez sur skyrush !

Candymonium was quite the surprise when I rode it. It was the last new coaster I rode at Hershey because of the line, but after 4 pm this doesn't get more than a 45 minute wait. This is after the app reported it as a 3 hour wait. The indoor queue line has me conflicted. On one hand, the visuals are great for the building and you don't have to worry about heat, although that wasn't an issue when we were there. On the other hand, I love watching coasters while waiting in line to help with boredom. I was expecting something very similar to Nitro albeit shorter. As soon as the drop hit I was so surprised. It suddenly whipped you down. 77.3 degrees isn't a joke. It's much, much better compared to Nitro's first drop. The first hill isn't near the level of whip, but it's still quite whippy. Turnaround is pointless, then the return run provides decent floater. It's close with the supports so that's nice. Then, you get to go through a helix, which is nice but not too forceful. The turn around the fountain visually is incredible, even when it's not that good of an element. Then you get to the brakes, and get ready because you'll have to wait. It stacks at least one train and often all of the trains are stacked. It's pretty bad. Still a great ride that, out of the 2 B&M hypers I've done, is the better one.

The drop is the best part, the app was wrong by far when giving the wait time, it said 75 minutes both times I went on and both times it was less than a 30-minute wait. The first drop feels much longer than it actually is and really impressive for only being slightly over 210 feet tall. It felt almost as tall as a giga but not quite. the first half had some really nice floater airtime but entering the second half there is one spot that gives both good lats and decent ejecotrs. the ride keeps a good pace until the last 15 to 20 seconds into the brake run, but it's still good because it has some nice scenery. overall it is at my 4th spot at Hershey Park.

I would have never thought a B&M Hyper could be this good. The first drop is amazing, the airtime is awesome and plentyful and the overall pacing is very well done except for the trim brake before the last helix (but you almost don't notice it in the front seat). Overall, I had the most fun riding this and Storm Runner at Hersheypark.

This is what I wanted Apollo's Chariot to be. A few unique elements for an out-and-back hyper plus B&M's perfected floater hills. My only complaint is that while the helix around the kisses fountain is fun, it is rather forceless. It's very cool to have two hypers a rock's throw away from each other that have completely different experiences; after riding this and Skyrush in the same day I see why this was needed. 8.5/10 - this review is dedicated to the teenage boys that tried to cut me in line and then started making homophobic comments

The first half is elite as far as B&M hypers go, but once you hit the trim before the helix around the fountain, the ride is basically over. It feels wrong to call that the second half when there is little to no airtime or force in that entire section. The first few hills are incredible and it is a shame that a single trim ruins this from being top-tier. It is easy not to get stapled in the restraints.

This is my favorite B&M hyper. I really remember loving the free and open feeling with all of the lovely floater air on Goliath (SFGA), but I feel this is had a bit more intensity. That actually may be first time I have ever used the word "intensity" to describe a B&M hyper as they are mostly so perfect and so smooth that they actually lack intensity. Candymonium is of course liquid smooth and perfectly comfortable with B&M's wonderful clamshell restraints. The seatbelts were a bit of a surprise, but in no way distracting at all. This actually delivered some solid forces that I really enjoyed. The floater air on the second hill lasted all the way to the bottom and you instantly transition to strong positive G's. There was zero transition time. Very cool. I rode it in the back to experience as much forces as it has to give and it was a very, very good ride. Far, far superior to Diamondback at Kings Island. I've always compared B&M to Intamin like comparing a Lincoln Towncar with a Mazda Miata. The Towncar has more power and ultimately can go faster, but it just so smooth you don't feel like you are going that fast and it is kind of tame. Whereas the Miata isn't really all that fast, but it is so small and nimble that it can deliver forces far beyond what the Towncar can. I've always felt that B&M hypers are too good to be extremely thrilling. Yes, they are fun and deliver some nice floater air, but not much in the way of "thrill". Candymonium is the first one that I can say delivers a fair bit of thrill. It is a great ride even though the last 1/4 of the ride is very, very tame. Now the real bad news: Why does this essentially brand new coaster already have 2 sets of massive brakes on it? Did they mess up the math? It is tearing itself up already? Both are very, very noticeable. They are both on uphills and neither totally kills the air over the top, but I have to wonder what could the air have been like. I'm sure more intense and it could have finally been a B&M hyper that delivers some serious, serious thrill. Not to be. It is still an excellent ride, but the brakes do annoy me.

Candymonium was a fantastic experience that bookended a great evening at Hersheypark. We went on it to start our night and finished our evening with two more rides before leaving the park. It is not the most intense coaster at Hersheypark, but it maintains a formidable thrill-level throughout and offers a grace, strength and elegance that is unmatched among the deep roster of Hersheypark coasters. The ride is the perfect ambassador/greeter to what I believe is among the best coaster-parks in the country - welcoming coaster aficionados and more daring general audiences alike. My first ride was in the darkness of Dark Nights theming and was my favorite B&M hyper experience of all-time. The ride hauls down the first hill, which felt a bit bigger and steeper than other B&M hypers and the subsequent camelback and helix were fantastic. The rolling hills of the back-half and the concluding circle around the kisses fountain wove the coaster into the park setting in a masterful manner. The operations were on point and showcased a capacity to devour long lines of eager riders in short order. I've read complaints about operations from others, but what I saw was as strong as any coaster anywhere. My single complaint is that the trims came into play on our last two rides and it dulled the second half of the ride quite noticeably. Still, it's a great ride that stands out and really just feels right in every way as the opener for a park that has invested significantly in its coaster experience over the last two decades.

The ride is boring, the pacing sucks. The trim brakes hit way to hard. And i rode this at 3pm so it was running pretty fast. The first hill did not hit and i was in the back row. I think the best thing to do to make this coaster better is to remove the trims and lengthen the trains. I came off this ride feeling disappointed.

My initial impression was not great but after rerides I think this B&M Hyper is a lot of fun with a unique layout in the second half around the fountain area. It’s a great addition to Hershey just like Wildcat being a smooth and fun twisty layout, this is smooth and fun airtime machine. I still prefer the B&M hyper Goliath at SFoG for floater airtime but this is right there with a big fun layout.

Candymonium is a really fun experience start to finish. Placed at the front of the park, you get excellent views and a really fun track layout around the Kisses Fountain. The first drop is super intense, as well as the first airtime hill, after that it’s a very fun, smooth, and pleasant (albeit less forceful) ride on its long layout. Another excellent hyper coaster from B&M, one of my favorites by them.

This one is probably my favorite B&M Hyper to date. The first drop has a great max vertical angle and builds up quite a bit of speed. My favorite moment might be the way up on the first hill though....

I got such long sustained floater airtime on that first hill and I couldn't believe how long it lasted. This out-and-back layout is great and provides plenty of floater airtime. I really enjoyed the lap around the fountain during the 2nd half and it really had a great touch to interact with the environment. I rode this in the back row two times and the front row once. I got nice ejector airtime in the front but the overall experience is best in the back row. 4.5/5 stars
