Ejectors Headbanging Discomfort
I used to love this ride. In 2010, we rode this 13 times in one day. It was our go-to coaster because it often had short lines while there were long waits elsewhere. It had slight shaking, but nothing that was uncomfortable. By 2018, we did only two rides and no longer enjoyed it because it had become so shaky. Sadly, this went from one of my favorite coasters to one that causes me pain. It's just not fun being thrown from side to side and having the lap bar punish your thighs on the bunny hills at the end.

Launch Smoothness Layout
This is my wife's favorite ride at SDC. The launch is good, and it leads to nice airtime on the first hill. There's some other good airtime throughout, and it really is a fun coaster overall.
-
Airtimes Fun Rattle
My favorite out-and-back wooden coaster. My best rides were when the train was full - the ride had only a slight rattle and the airtimes felt better. On a ride when there were only five of us on board, the train shook quite a bit more.

Smoothness Dead spots
Very good, but not great. It's smooth, and the ride is enjoyable. The brakes ruin the pacing. I first rode this in 2011 when there was just the clamshell lap restraint and no seat belts. I must say, it sure added a bit of fear to the ride when the clamshell was the only thing holding you in during airtimes. I'd always be thinking, "I sure hope this thing stays locked in place!" I'm glad they added the seat belts in 2014 as a secondary safety measure.

Discomfort
Made my calf muscles cramp like crazy. Good layout, but punished the legs. It's so much better as Rougarou.

I really liked this coaster, and I was sad to see it close down. It was pretty smooth for an old woodie, and I always had fun on it.
-
Fun Discomfort
It was my first stand-up coaster when I rode it in 1989. It had a fun layout, but I mostly remember discomfort from blood rushing in and out of my legs.
-
Airtimes First Drop
This is a good solid ride with a decent first drop, good speed, and some nice inversions and airtime. I think it's pretty underrated.
-
Fun Intensity Rattle
This is a classic Arrow coaster that has held up well over the years. The first drop isn't huge, but for some reason I find it really thrilling. Yeah, it rattles quite a bit throughout, but it's never enough to cause discomfort.
-
Rattle Headbanging
It was my first coaster with inversions when I rode it back in 1979. It was quite the thrill back then, and the lines for it were LONG. Today, it is very shaky, there's rarely a line, and it puts a lot of stress on your lower back.
-
Launch Dead spots
The launches were awesome. After that, the ride was fun with the cobra rolls, but they weren't as intense as I thought they'd be.
-
Theming Disappointing! Discomfort
This is a ride where the concept is more exciting than the actual experience. It looks like it should be really scary and thrilling ride, but it always ends up being a bit of a letdown. The harnesses are never really comfortable, and the flying feeling is not as fun as I think it will be. I never have a desire to do any of these flying rides more than once.

First Drop Headbanging
I first rode this in 1989 when it was the "tallest full-circuit coaster in the world." It was pretty intimidating back then, and I was the only one of my group of six college friends who was brave enough to go on it. I remember being pretty scared going up the lift hill, and the first drop took my breath away. It was a smooth and thrilling ride. 30 years later in 2019, I rode it again in its last season. It had gotten pretty shaky, but it brought back a lot of good memories of a fun day at KI with my college buddies.

First Drop Smoothness Dead spots Intensity
I read a lot of great reviews about this coaster, so I went in with high hopes. While I enjoyed it, it didn't live up to the hype for me. The airtimes are fun, but the thrills overall were mild to moderate. It wasn't as intense as I thought it would be.
-
Rattle Discomfort
Without a doubt, the worst invert I've ridden. I thought it was going to shake the fillings out of my teeth.
-
This coaster has held up so well after all these years. What a fun, classic ride.
-
Discomfort
One big ouch. So glad to see Twisted Timbers replace it!
-
Dead spots
The whole ride was a dead spot. Glad CP got rid of it.
-
Inversions Fun Layout Rattle
Still my favorite invert. I love the layout of Raptor. For me, it just has the best combination of elements of all other inverts out there with the placements of the cobra roll, batwing and double helix. I hate the loudness and rattle of the chain at the start; but after that, the ride brings me pure joy!
-
Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!
Pain. Agony. Distress. The only coaster that caused me more pain was Mean Streak.
-
First Drop Layout Theming
When I first rode Banshee in its debut year, it didn't do much for me. When I rode it again in 2019, I really liked it. I'm not sure what changed for me, but for some reason the elements provided me with more thrills. The long looping inversions are sweet. The twist near the end is great!
-
Comfort Pace Smoothness Too short
My favorite of all of the Batman clones. It seems faster than the other clones, and it really whips you around while giving you a smooth ride.
-
Fun Layout Duration
When this was the stand-up coaster Mantis, I couldn't stand it because it always made my calf muscles cramp like crazy. As Rougarou, I can actually enjoy the ride! The layout is really good, and there are a lot of fun elements.
-
Theming Fun Intensity
I was a lot more impressed with this ride when I rode as a kid in the 70s than when I rode it as an adult. It's fun. It's nostalgic. It's not a ride I desired to ride multiple times.
-
Comfort Fun Too short
One of the better Batman clones out there. I always enjoy this ride. I just wish it lasted longer.
-
First Drop Duration Discomfort
This has a great layout. The first drop is a lot of fun. For some reason, this ride gives me slight nausea, something I don't experience on any other invert. Still, it has a lot of good elements, and it's very smooth.
-
First Drop Disappointing!
Like most drop coasters, the drops are the only great parts. The rest of the ride always seems like filler.
-
Fun Rattle
Enjoyable ride. I wish it had been a little smoother.
-
Airtimes Intensity Layout Too short
It packs a lot of punch into a short ride time. Even though I wish the ride were longer, this coaster still makes my top ten for the sheer amount of fun I have on it.
-
Airtimes Comfort Layout
The first drop is great. My favorite part -- the airtime hills at the end. Overall, a really good coaster that we were able to ride a dozen times in one afternoon because the lines were really short that day. At the time, there were a lot of people saying that this was the best coaster in America. It didn't quite live up to that hype, but it's still in my top ten.
