Journey to Atlantis would not be classified as a coaster, however, it features a really unique boat that doubles as a roller coaster at the end. It plays out like a themed shoot the chutes type ride similar to that of Splash Mountain with a mythological story. It meanders indoors before ascending a lift hill and a bit outside where there’s a big drop before ascending another lift hill back indoors. The fast banked turns at the end are incredibly fun in the dark and the splash out at the end is a great ending to a lengthy ride.

Vraiment excellent, du fun, une thema magnifique, une bonne immersion. Cependant la storyline n'est pas très compréhensible et les passages en extérieur sont assez long et peu immersifs. Pour ce qui est des drops elles sont très sympa mais voilà rien de fou niveau sensations.

C'est l'une des rares attractions de Sea World très bien thématisée, l'attraction est magnifique de l'extérieur et la partie dark ride est plus jolie que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Ça rafraîchit (ce qui fait du bien vu la chaleur de la Floride) et les parties coaster ne sont que des drops, une droite et une twistée (on ressent les vibrations durant cette dernière). Si le débit pouvait être meilleur, ce serait cool car il y a toujours une très longue attente. Bref à faire une fois.

Sinon c'est un water coaster sympa sans plus, la partie coaster est très courte et sans grand intérêt en dehors de la surprise que ça apporte quand on ne s'y attend pas. Ça reste un ride sympa à faire, surtout sous le soleil de Floride. Je lui préfère infinity falls :)

Journey to Atlantis est un chouette Water coaster Mack, très joli dans sa partie dark ride Le ride est TRÈS humide, à l'avant on a prit une vague colossale qui nous a laissé trempé durant plusieures heure. La partie coaster vibre legèrement mais rien d'insupportable. Les jours de forte chaleur, faites cette attraction dès le matin pour éviter la foule

I havn't been on this in many years now, as unfortunately last time I went it was still down for repairs after hurricane Irma damage! :( .. but as I remember it an awesomely themed water ride, the drops are really fun, and if i remember right you get pretty wet.. always seemed to take a while until you got a drop though.. but a solid water ride :)

The wait time is always long and the ride is pretty boring except for a few kind of fun drops. The transitions into the first 2 lifts were quite jarring and painful too. At least the theming and presentation is good and I was able to get back on this ride for the first time in over 10 years, but I definitely wasn’t a fan.

This is legit an uncomfortable ride and makes me appreciate any run of the mill shoot the chute ride, but it does have some cool theming and music to boogie down to, albeit no dialogue or characters. ...

C'est le meilleur water Coaster que j'ai pu faire. Sincèrement la décoration est vraiment charmante et le tour est long donc l'attente est rentabilisée. Je suis ressorti de l'attraction trempé comme si j'avais sauté dans une piscine (des heures avant d'être sec malgré 37°c et un grand soleil). A faire c'est vraiment super malgré les petits temps morts et l'attente.

Journey to Atlantis is a great water attraction that I love. I think it's something unique and perfect for SeaWorld. The theme boat ride first half is fantastic and the small coaster portion is very fun. You'll also get soaked every single ride. The queue has a nice generic theme and the ride building looks great when walking up. The boats look good and are very comfortable. The first portion of the ride is well-themed and has a good atmosphere. I wish they would bring back the actual storyline of the ride, however. You go up a lift and outside after going through the dark ride portion. You turn and go up a little more. You then go through the biggest drop on the ride. You splashdown and get soaked. You turn around through the water past all the rock work in front of the building and then go up another lift hill. At the top, you go through a dark room and hit the main coaster portion of the ride, a twisting drop and bunny hill. This section is really fun and features some solid whip. You splashdown and get soaked once again, and the ride is over. I think this ride is a perfect fit for SeaWorld as it gives the park something unique.

This is a dark ride water coaster. The theming is excellent, featuring multiple animations, interactive water sprayers, music, and more. After 2 chain lifts, you go down the tradition flume drop, which in the back row gives some weird airtime. Its a pretty fun drop. Then you take a turn into a 2nd lift, into the coaster section. The coaster section just features some turns into another splash down, but is nice and fun, The only issue is, the coaster part is sorta rough. its not unbearable, but it may jackhammer you a little bit, specifically near the end of it. What I do love though is the restraints. Its a ratcheting lap bar, which the operators NEVER staple you on. Ive ridden this at least 15 times, and the one time i got stapled was my own fault. overall, i love this coaster.

The ride is like Poseidon pretty long has an intense straight drop and an indoor coaster part. The whole set up of the ride is appealing, like the building, the first drop etc. Thrill: 2.5/5
