Headbanging Discomfort Intensity
This was singlehandedly the worst coaster I've ever ridden in my entire life. I wanted to try a stand up coaster because hey, it looks cool, but I got off this ride a day ago and haven't stopped complaining once. The restraints are uncomfortable and difficult to get into. (The ride attendants didn't check my restraints, so I did it myself. Felt very safe.) The ride was fine until after the first drop. It was a jerky, violent and angry coaster that made me feel like my legs were broken. Through the entire ride I was wailing and screaming in agony, sometimes interrupted to scream specifically about my legs. The force exerted onto my legs was insane and I genuinely thought my muscles were disintegrating. This ride destroyed any possible chance I would ever be having kids in the future due to when I went to unload, the harness unlocked and it launched the seat straight up between my legs and trapped me dangling off the ground. If you want to go on this ride, do yourself a solid and don't. Go get in line for Nitro instead.

Intensity Smoothness Layout Theming Capacity
I really enjoy standup coasters and this one just takes it to a whole new scale. Flying through those massive inversions and turns while standing provides some ridiculous positive g's and those g's are sustained for the whole ride and it's a long one with 5 inversions and a really complete layout. It is also a super smooth coaster and throwing in some good floater moments this is definitely one of the better B&M's for me.

Headbanging Harness Discomfort
This ride holds a special place in my heart because it is the worst roller coaster that I’ve ever ridden. The pain from this ride was somehow equally distributed between my head, ears, ribs, and nether region. The restraints are tricky to get into, which ensures that the queue is longer than it should be. But what really takes the cake is the location. To say that this ride is over a parking lot is an insult to parking lots. They must have used a jackhammer to create some post-apocalyptic wasteland which ensures that the ground temp is at least a balmy 120. Just look slightly to your right to see that they spent all of their grass growing money on the Superman ride. I’m surprised that the state of New Jersey hasn’t outlawed this ride as cruel and unusual punishment. I wouldn’t wish this ride on my worst enemy, yet I’m glad I rode it. For when I’m at my lowest, I can look for perspective and think, at least I’m not riding Green Lantern.

Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity
Wow this ride blew me away. This was my first large scale standup coaster and this thing shocked me. It is insanely intense and really you do feel that force in your legs. The foot numbing intensity of this was almost painful. Incredible ride and I really hope it stays in its original standup form

Has not aged or relocated well. Placed out on bare gravel, so a misery to queue for on a hot day. Does not have the intensity that Chang was famed for, awkward to load, rattly and generally just a bad time. Pretty dull while it's at it. My worst rated B&M.

Inversions Nice surprise! Harness
this coaster really suprised me as i had heard it was terrible. After how much I hated vortex at carrowinds I was expecting pain but it was suprisingly smooth. the inversions are fun and forcful and while I am not personally a fan of standing up on a coaster, it is still an enjoyable ride.

First Drop Inversions Intensity Harness Discomfort
One of the most intense B&Ms out there, I really like how intense it is. Keep your head forward and it becomes enjoyable.

Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!
Terrible ride with awful headbanging and extremely rough inversions. The worst roller coaster i’ve ever been on. Six flags needs to tear this down and replace it with something else!

Intensity Rattle Headbanging Theming
I've enjoyed both Vortex at Carowinds and Georgia Scorcher, but I hated this ride - it’s definitely intense, but Green Lantern is rough with a lot of headbanging. It didn’t ruin my opinion of standups though.

First Drop Layout Rattle Headbanging Discomfort
Green Lantern definitely has potential. The layout is solid and the first drop gives good airtime. However, the part that kills this ride is how horribly uncomfortable it is. There's a lot of rattle and the restraints cause a good amount of headbanging. It's worth a ride if you know how to properly ride a standup, but you definitely need to ride this defensively.

Discomfort Tear it down! Dead spots
Credit #29 You know how Kingda Ka has that awful smell on the restraints that smell like cow poop? Well, B&M decided to steal that smell, and make it into a roller coaster. The fact that this sometimes gets longer lines than amazing rides like El Toro and Nitro daunts me... Is everyone suddenly a masochist? I was against the idea of riding a stand-up coaster, but I was encouraged to get it for the credit. I even remembered how it went, it was so horrendous. I was in the back row to the right, climbing up the lift hill of hell. I look over to my left, and see the glorious Superman glistening- asking myself why I am not on there, and on this abomination instead. I tried to get myself excited, but then the first drop. It was like the log flume at Dorney park; weak, slow, and boring. The pain in my entire body began after the 1st inversion. Midway through, I was screaming in agony, wanting to get off, but I couldn't. I felt like I was voluntarily kidnapped in my own hell, which is the dentist's office. I felt like I was in 6th grade again, having that metal expander penetrating into my upper jaw. Though that same feeling was on my head, back, legs, arms, torso, and most of all, my "male friends". If I have to ever ride a B&M stand-up coaster again, I will have on a body suit made of pillows, praying to the Lord I do not get 206 fractured bones.

Would rate negative stars If I could. Riding the inside of a washing machine rolling down Mt Everest would probably be more fun than this torture device.

Layout Rattle Discomfort
I went into this wanting to like Green Lantern. I enjoy Georgia Scorcher a lot and was hoping this would be like a bigger version of that. I did not like it. It’s first half is pretty solid but it just gets worse and worse from there. Very uncomfortable and rattly. A painful not fun ride.

Layout Duration Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!
I'm just upset with B&M here this is probably one of the worst feeling rides ever. Its super hyped up because its a stand up coaster. But then as you get on you can tell it will be uncomfortable. The drop is decent but then as soon as you hit the first inversion which is a loop your already starting your pain train. This ride feels like an eternity. I feel like if it was just a sit down it could have had much more potential because the layouts great. But the worse thing about this coaster is when you get off it feels like your legs are gonna blow. Green Lantern is definitely not a must do coaster when you visit SixFlags Great Adventure.

Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!
This is by far the worst coaster I have ever ridden. I have not ridden an SLC yet, but I still see myself rating one of those higher than this or any stand-up for that matter. I've already explained my personal problem with Stand-ups in my Riddler's Revenge review, but this has got to be the worst offender. The leg pain AND the headbanging is the worst I've ever experienced on any of the stand-ups I've ridden. I am not going to ride this again, and I pray for the day that this gets scrapped. Too bad I can't rate less than 0.5 stars!

Discomfort Intensity
Not the worst stand up I've done. This is a ride that's screaming for the floorless conversion. The problem with that being that there's already a floorless in the park. The ride is too intense for a stand up which caused my legs to ache for a long time after I got off.
-
By no means awful as far as the concept of stand-up coasters go. Relatively smooth and intense.

Inversions Nice surprise! Layout
Was surprised by how much I liked this one. While it's not as smooth as Riddler's Revenge at Magic Mountain (probably the best stand-up coaster in the world), I would definitely not call Green Lantern uncomfortable or painful at all. The layout is among the best out of the all the B&M Stand-Up coasters and their Floorless conversions, plus the unique forces that you sustain while standing are always fun. Kinda funny how a ride I expected to hate ended up being my #4 at the entire park.

Awful. Worst roller coaster I've ever ridden.

First Drop Inversions Harness Discomfort Tear it down!
Ouch. My legs and nethers were fine, but my head and shoulders took a pummelling. I understand why Mantis got the conversion, it's just a shame that there's a world class floorless right across the park in Bizarro.

Inversions Intensity Headbanging Discomfort
Green Lantern is, while forceful, extremely uncomfortable. A forceful stand up is hard enough on my body as is, putting pressure on my legs and making my inner thighs uncomfortable. But when you add unavoidable headbanging, it becomes too much to enjoy or even bear. Add to this the lack of any scenery besides gravel, and you have a really crappy coaster.
