Theming Rattle

I'm not a big fan of water rides, at least not on dry parks, so I'm not a huge fan of this thing, but the coaster section was fun!

You really don't get too wet on the big drop but you get nice hang time on it. You get more wet on the mini drop after. And the mini roller coaster part at the end is surprising but unfortunately has some rattle. The ride does jerk you around at times but it's nice to get a little wet

Duration

Even though Journey to Atlantis is the weakest coaster at Seaworld, it was the ride that closest met my expections for it. (Besides Manta which exceeded my expections). There's not really much I can say about this ride, it's just there for me. The ride is kind of fun and it's always exciting to see whether or not you and your friends get wet. But this ride was just confusing. I think it's a nice layout but there's not much I can say about it. Not to mention the theme did not make sense to me. It was confusing and weird, and I think the ride should get a new retheme which would honestly make it better. The elevator lift was also a slight surprise to me, and the tilting on the lift added a lot of character to the ride. Overall, this ride is fine. It doesn't really do much for the park's coaster lineup.

Second drop was a surprise. Not an awful ride. Theming is good but lacks story and depth.

It was closed for me the last time I was at the park so the last time I rode it was in 2012. I don’t remember too much but I remember it having decent theming and the drops being decently fun.

Theming Comfort Fun

Journey to Atlantis is a great water attraction that I love. I think it's something unique and perfect for SeaWorld. The theme boat ride first half is fantastic and the small coaster portion is very fun. You'll also get soaked every single ride. The queue has a nice generic theme and the ride building looks great when walking up. The boats look good and are very comfortable. The first portion of the ride is well-themed and has a good atmosphere. I wish they would bring back the actual storyline of the ride, however. You go up a lift and outside after going through the dark ride portion. You turn and go up a little more. You then go through the biggest drop on the ride. You splashdown and get soaked. You turn around through the water past all the rock work in front of the building and then go up another lift hill. At the top, you go through a dark room and hit the main coaster portion of the ride, a twisting drop and bunny hill. This section is really fun and features some solid whip. You splashdown and get soaked once again, and the ride is over. I think this ride is a perfect fit for SeaWorld as it gives the park something unique.

Theming Lap Bar Fun Rattle

This is a dark ride water coaster. The theming is excellent, featuring multiple animations, interactive water sprayers, music, and more. After 2 chain lifts, you go down the tradition flume drop, which in the back row gives some weird airtime. Its a pretty fun drop. Then you take a turn into a 2nd lift, into the coaster section. The coaster section just features some turns into another splash down, but is nice and fun, The only issue is, the coaster part is sorta rough. its not unbearable, but it may jackhammer you a little bit, specifically near the end of it. What I do love though is the restraints. Its a ratcheting lap bar, which the operators NEVER staple you on. Ive ridden this at least 15 times, and the one time i got stapled was my own fault. overall, i love this coaster.

It’s a pretty fun water coaster. The drop and coaster section are a really welcome addition to this ride. I also like the indoor section with some good theming.

What a surprise. Really good ride, very interesting and not much else out there like it. Really fun. Expected Pompeii, but got a whole lot more.

Now I was surprised of the amazing theming of this ride, was even better than Poseidon. It has a nice dark ride section with story telling. The ride is like Poseidon pretty long has an intense straight drop and an indoor coaster part. The whole set up of the ride is appealing, like the building, the first drop etc. Thrill: 2.5/5

I havn't been on this in many years now, as unfortunately last time I went it was still down for repairs after hurricane Irma damage! :( .. but as I remember it an awesomely themed water ride, the drops are really fun, and if i remember right you get pretty wet.. always seemed to take a while until you got a drop though.. but a solid water ride :)
