    Lap Bar Masterpiece Harness

Skyrush is an extraordinary design. About time for another updated review on my most recent rides. Unpacking all GY combinations on this thing is no easy task. +GY (left lats) and -GY (right lats) are everywhere on this ride. They're sneaky, but once people find them, WOH........ I'm up to 11 different GY lats and counting. They can all be found by moving your body during ride layout. Skyrush's airtime is redundant. The restraints are not designed for airtime. People that hate on skyrush saying "there is a lack of airtime" miss the point of the coaster's multilayered design. Lap bars here cover a small area of the rider. This provides minimal lateral bracing. Yeah.... minimal lateral bracing allowing people to enhance forces by moving around. Do other restraints allow this? NOPE. Lets start searching. Strap in for a wild ride: 1. FIRST DROP PULLOUT IN RIGHT WING LEANING FORWARD RIGHT: Allows the forces to HOLD you forward in that position for an extended time period, chopping waists in half in the best way possible (-GY) 2. FIRST DROP PULLOUT IN LEFT SEATS LEANING FORWARD LEFT: Allows forces to HOLD you forward in that position, except now to the left (+GY) 3. LEANING TO THE LEFT AFTER THE SECOND CAMELBACK IN LEFT WING: Snappy lateral jolt to the left (+GY) 4. LEANING AGAINST SEATBACK INTO THE STENGEL DIVE: Right lat entering it (-GY). Left lat snapping out of it (+GY) (most people are familiar with the element being a complete GY incorporating right and left.... but) 5. LEANING FORWARD IN A BIKING POSITION INTO THE STENGEL DIVE: People counteract entering lateral resulting in an absence in a right lateral to get a left lateral (double +GY overall through element) 6. THRUSTING BODY TO THE LEFT BEFORE ENTERING THE LATERAL S-CURVE LEANING FORWARD: Non-linear left lateral jolt forward (+GY) 7. THRUSTING BODY TO THE LEFT BEFORE ENTERING LAT S-CURVE LEANING AGAINST THE SEATBACK: Sustained 3-4 second left lateral attempting to chop your waist in half (+GY) 8. LEFT WING LEANING FORWARD THROUGH CUTBACK: Snappy left lateral (+GY) 9. RIGHT WING LEANING FORWARD THROUGH CUTBACK: Snappy right lateral (-GY). Alright, long journey. That was some of the GYs devised on skyrush :) It's irritating when people bring up the point of sitting back and relaxing during skyrush's ride experience. You can relax on most coasters, but this one is an exception. People surprise themselves with satisfaction when they find something new in ride layout. Of course they first thought it was impossible. What a shocker. I prefer the lateral s-curve (7) over the mosasaurus roll because I have the option to thrust my body into it. That curve would otherwise be a normal turn that wouldn't even crack a top 50 roller coaster elements list. Riders can also enhance air as an option. They lean forward in the seat before pulling the lap bar down when boarding. They then lean forward at the cable lift apex. They can extend their legs or fold them to change ejector sensations. What other coaster allows this? That's right.. NONE. The creativity is wild here. No other coaster does that for me. The restraints were designed with an especial purpose that shouldn't get hate.

Wow. Skyrush in the back at night is the craziest thing I have ever done. That first drop is the best ive experienced. Its nice how hershey slightly pops the restraints up on the brake run. This has the strongest airtime ive ever felt.

Awesome ride! Puts every other coaster to shame in the park imo. Just a monster where restraints somehow are appropriate to the ride's actions, while still delivering a balls to the wall experience. Seeing people at the exit somehow disgusted makes me wanna smirk lol. Skyrush is the fly swatter, while gp are flies. White-knuckling will get you nowhere.

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity

Restraints didn't bother me on my 5 rides. Body types may differ but I found very little discomfort among my rides. Sit in the back left wing seat and go arms up for the ultimate experience. That first drop is bonkers. POVs do not do this ride any justice. Looking at it off ride doesn't either. Easily the best coaster at a strong coaster park. Currently sitting as my number 3 overall coaster and far and away the most intense coaster (beats I-305 for me). Ejector air everywhere on this thing. Update 3 years and another 100 coaster creds on the books: it still rules. Rode some Dark Nights rides on Wildcats Revenge and while it's obviously a great ride, Skyrush is still king of the park and still sits as my #3 overall only behind Fury and SteVe. Still, Skyrush has the best drop in the biz by a landslide, is the most aggressive ride, the best ejector ride, best lift hill, is actually quite scenic, and the most "free" restraints in the biz including the clamshell b&m (my personal favorites). This thing is the ride other rides sit around and talk about. A real rides ride. A pros pro. What a coaster.

    Intensity Ejectors Discomfort

Very forceful, made terrible exclusively by awful restraints that focus every ounce of force from the coaster right on your thighs. I can see why people love Skyrush; if it's not physically painful to ride it has a lot going for it and really whips you around in a great way. Worth riding to try out and see if it hurts too much to be worth it at the very least.

    First Drop Intensity Ejectors Rattle

I came into my first ride on Skyrush with extremely high much as anything I've ever ridden outside of Steal Vengeance. I love big, intense Intamin coasters...i305 is a top 3 for me. And SkyRush is a fantastic ride, but it didn't quite deliver for me what I was hoping. I wanted it to become a top 3 and it just didn't. It's not even a top 3 at Hersheypark for me at the moment. The express first hill lift was fantastic, the first drop is unbelievable and the ejectors were solid throughout - all things I was looking forward to experiencing. The restraints were not an issue at all for me despite all the criticism around them from others. All these things pointed to a world class coaster...and it is world class. BUT, this is the first coaster I've ridden of this caliber where the rattle greatly impacted my perspective and experience. It was extremely pronounced and it took some of the shine off things. My 9 year-old daughter felt the same way. She liked Skyrush a lot, but it wasn't as good for us as Candymomium or Storm Runner. I do want to give it another shot. The weather really limited our repeat riding ability. We didn't sit in the wings, which I've heard is truly special. And I was nervous my daughter was going to think it was too much, so I was slightly distracted keeping an eye on her while riding. But it really comes back to the rattle. It made the ride feel past its prime to me...and like an aggressive, physical running back who plays the game really hard (the best metaphor I can think of for Skyrush) - the decline can come fast. I certainly hope that this is not the case here. We'll hopefully give it another shot with clearer skies when we visit next year.

    First Drop Smoothness Ejectors Intensity

Skyrush is a coaster explicitly designed for only the strongest of coaster riders. The ride is intense beyond belief, with an absurd first drop, insane ejector airtime, and tons of lateral Gs. I had no problem with the restraints like some, but the intensity actually was too much at some points, making me a bit sick and disoriented after the ride. It’s a ride I’m happy I rode and really liked, but it’s likely I won’t be riding it again anytime soon just due to how overwhelmingly intense it actually is in spite of its somewhat deceiving looks.

    Airtimes First Drop Masterpiece

This one is an absolute beast! I've never seen POV videos of this ride be so deceptive and look innocent compared to what you actually feel. The lift starts off super quick and hardly slows down when you get to the top. This is my favorite first drop and it's not even close. That midway kink through the drop practically feels like it ejects you from your seat! Then you get thrown through so many rapid airtime hills throughout the course of the run that is so violent but so rewarding. The turns are a bit whippy and intense leading to some pain but I'm very surprised it's nicknamed "Thighcrush" since my thighs were just fine getting off both times. I rode back row on both the far left and far right wing seats and I slightly prefer the left although they are both fantastic. Both times I got off this one with a massive headache and my only regret was not riding this even more to sacrifice additional brain cells. Controversial opinion but I think this one is better than Wildcat's Revenge and the best in the park! 5/5 stars

So insane. Best first drop of all time, it feels like a car crash. The following layout features some of the strongest airtime ever, very strong positives, and some of the most insane laterals ever. These forces are best experienced in the back left wing seat, as with the minimal lateral bracing, it feels like the ride is trying to throw you out of the train. Love this thing.

Pace Intensity Ejectors Discomfort Lap Bar

The lap bar isn't overly painful like several years ago, but it's still too tight. It takes away from the enjoyment because you're thinking, "How much will this next element make the lap bar dig into my thighs?" I really like the pace and intensity, but Skyrush would be SO much better with decent restraints.

This thing is litterly insanity. For a ride that looks dull and forceless this coaster does stuff that borders on sadism. By far one of the best, and most intense coasters around, probably too intense for most folks. The thigh bars are probably the biggest con to the ride, though i didnt not find them the most painful restraints ever So far my numberone coaster, maybe not marthonable becuse its too intense but still a must ride

its really intense, just the lapbar is too painful to enjoy, the airtime is probably among the best in the world but the lapbar just ruins it. also the cable lift makes no sense and dosent really need to be there. First Drop Intensity Ejectors Lap Bar

This ride is an absolute mess. When you hit that kink in the first drop it feels like you are genuinely about to get thrown off of the ride. It's impossible to keep both arms up on the turn into the first ejector hill. The stengel dive feels like I'm getting ripped in half. I can barely walk off of it once we get back to the station. But, despite all of this, I adore every second of this stupid, broken, painful hunk of yellow steel. This is the only ride in my top 10 where I totally understand if someone hates it. The airtime hurts, the lap bars are terrible, and the rattle is constant. But for some reason my equally broken brain loves this monstrosity. 10/10 - the single funniest moment on any coaster is the mini release of the restraints on the brake run; they know the demon they created

This ride is best when it's running slow. Past that, it's just too painful to enjoy. During early entry, I'll ride this in the front row middle seats and have a great time. But as it warms up it gets rougher and rougher and it's just too much. I think this is the only ride that I wish had trim breaks.

First Drop Fun Intensity Too short

This ride was completely... AMAZING! It was thrilling, and the first drop had my heart skipping beats! I was so amazed on how tall and fast Skyrush was. I actually came to Hershey today for a school trip, and the memories were coming back as i went on all the different rides! I haven't been to Hershey in so long, and just riding Skyrush in general brought back tons and tons of memories! Not only that, but as i mentioned before, the height and speed was just incredible! 200 feet up, 75mph, TOTALLY worth it! If I had to rate the most exciting and thrilling rides I've been on at Hershey, my #1 would be Skyrush. The violence, packed with screams, very awesome! But, I am not a type of person that sits out of the crowd, so the wing seats were very scary for me, but fortunately, I didn't ride on a wing seat, to risky in my opinion! Overall, I 100% recommend Skyrush if your a person who loves high-rides and packed thrills. Definitely riding this again! And the next time I come to Hershey, I hope the ride is longer because I had a blast! :)

First Drop Nice surprise! Ejectors Rattle Lap Bar

Wow! This ride is absolutely awesome! I'll admit, on my first ride I was a little nervous due to its steepness and what I heard about the restraints, but it didn't disappoint one bit. In fact, Skyrush blew me away! Right off the bat, this is one of the very few coasters to actually scare me. Going up the cable lift so quickly and then diving down that drop is truly pants-crapping. In fact, only Top Thrill Dragster's launch and Phantom's Revenge's final bunny hills are the only things that can match this. After that drop, you are filled with ejector filled hills at very high speeds, in a beautiful setting. The only things I don't like about Skyrush are that its restraints are a little uncomfortable, mainly on the final brakes, and the ride does have a rattle on that drop, though the rest of the ride is very smooth. All in all, Skyrush is one the greatest rides I've ever experienced, it is the best coaster at Hersheypark, and it can't be missed!

This ride is just insane. That first drop is just so bonkers, especially in the back. Each element is executed flawlessly, maybe a little too flawlessly with how powerful those camelbacks are. The stengel dive, twisted camelback and powerful airtime moments try to rip you in half. And yes, I don’t mind the lap bars. I just really love this ride for how insane it is. First Drop Masterpiece Ejectors Reliability

At first I thought I would be rolling in pain that day from the “thigh crush” but by the time I had gotten a reride I fully realized that this was an amazing coaster. Now it is my favorite coaster I’ve ever ridden and my most ridden one at 15 rides as of the time of writing this review (Now 25 as of this update). The airtime is powerful on every hill and the speed is immense, especially at night where you feel like you are going to crash. The first drop alone is the single most violent moment of ejector airtime I have ever experienced. I felt like i was standing up in my seat from how powerful it was. A moment which is immediately followed by the most intense pullout I’ve experienced as well. I love this ride with a passion and I will recommend it to anyone visiting the park who can ride this. EDIT: Laterals are out of control on back left wing seat, you can barely hold on. Was also Much smoother when I rode!

Location Intensity Discomfort Layout Lap Bar

This is one of the most overrated coasters I ever ever ridden. Let's put aside the horrible restraints and pretend like those are fine. Layout and duration are big factors for me in evaluating how good coasters are. This ride falls short in both those categories. Every single other 200ft+ continuous circuit coaster I have ridden, with the exception of Valravn, is longer and has a more creative layout. This list includes the Supermans, Nitro, Candymonium, Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force, Apollo's Chariot, Mako, Phantom's Revenge, Goliath, and Steel Curtain. The ride is fun but not even close to a masterpiece. The limited elements it does have are fairly pointless with the exception of the first drop and that one big airtime hill. I can't begin to comprehend why so many people have this one in their top 10. But I do understand why there is also a large chunk of people that view this ride as mediocre or terrible.

    Harness Intensity Ejectors Too short

Skyrush makes me feel like I'm gonna die more than any other coaster and that is an amazing thing. The airtime on this doesn't even feel like it should be possible with how god damn strong it is. The drop is RIDICULOUS, the camelbacks literally pull -2 g's and are actually pretty sustained too, the low to the ground turns on this are intense almost to the level of I305 and the twisted hill and stengel dive give laterals to the level of feeling like the ride is going to snap your body in half with just the lap bar. The restraints on this I actually really like and they allow you to experience the insane forces to the fullest extent. This thing is absolutely non stop and gives just some of the greatest forces of any coaster.

    Airtimes First Drop Intensity

I must admit that I went on this ride expecting it to be great. I was honestly hoping that one of the other two Intamins here would be my favorite, but no. This takes the cake--easily and by a wide margin. No doubt the best ride in this fantastically coaster rich park. I had zero issue with the restraints. They were perfect--open and free and just holding you in by your lap. I don't know what else anyone would want. I kind of get that because of the intense airtime this delivers that you could get a bit sore from it, but are people honestly saying they wish the ride didn't deliver the intense ejector air? That is crazy-talk nonsense. The coaster community craves ejectors--always. This delivers like very, very few coasters on the planet. Plus the airtime on this isn't just quick jolts, there are sustained moments of it. I can understand someone saying they don't like the feeling of literally being 100% at the mercy of the lap restraint for fear of their life--because that is literally what is happening on much of this ride, but to me that is what makes this spectacular and one of the greatest coasters on earth. I don't know of anyone getting off of any B&M hyper saying they felt like they were going to die. This, though, you can say that and it isn't an exaggeration. It delivers crazy out of your seat air on the first drop, then immediately transitions into face stretching positives. I literally could feel my cheeks getting tugged downward. Then it essentially repeats several more times. Throw in some crazy tight twists and turns all at incredible speeds and you have a recipe for a world class thrill machine. Did I mention that this thing is intense? It is not for the faint of heart. This is truly one of the finest coasters for the true thrill seekers out there in the coaster world. My only slight gripe is the "wing" design. To me it doesn't really add anything, unless you have a "wing" seat. So, 50% of the riders get zero benefit from this design. Even when you do get the "wing" seat, it isn't quite the same feeling like B&M's winged coasters. It is a bit silly, but because of the ride this delivers the seats don't matter much. Even with one of the regular, inner seats, this delivers thrills far beyond what most other coasters of capable of. Masterpiece of thrill.

Perhaps the most intense ride in the world. I'm not sure any ride tries to kill you like this one, and that feeling is even greater in a wing seat. The first drop is highly unique and the best I've ever done, certainly from an airtime standpoint. The laterals from the Stengel dive through the final bunny hill usually fold me over to the side while riding on a right wing seat. Some rides will leave me in significant pain/discomfort, but I can look past it because of the crazy experience. If it got the new Intamin lap bars, it would be even better. From graying out to feeling incredible air, this ride is one of a kind. I can see why some don't like it, though.

Marmite coaster, it seems. We really liked it. Lots of speed, slightly janky first drop, potent make-you-hold-on airtime. The seating could use some "side" support as the ride does not roll you with the turns. It demands you to ride it rather than just be carried along. Still, very good and different feeling to any other hyper

I got on this ride with high expectations, and I think for that reason I enjoyed it a bit more the second time. This is a hyper like no other, and certainly not one for the faint of heart. This one will test your limits. There's no shoulder restraints, and while a lot of people say that the lap bars are uncomfortable, I would consider it to be just another part of the experience. This ride is an absolute powerhouse! I only rode it once (thanks Sidewinder) but that one ride gave me a great impression... this is now my favorite coaster! The airtime is absolutely bonkers, and the intensity is unbelievable! Unlike the Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood (my former favorite), this ride gets you to the action much quicker (and the lift hill doesn't take 72 years to finish), the airtime is sustained which is my favorite part of this ride. And it's all ejector! The laterals from the Stengel Dives are super snappy and powerful! The first drop has TWO experiences of airtime! I do think there is a very slight rattle but with a ride that enjoyable and awesome, it doesn't take away anything, same opinion with the restraint, it really is that good!

    First Drop Intensity Ejectors

Skyrush is easily one of the most intense roller coasters in the world. The ride is packed with a cable lift hill that brings you up incredibly fast, 5 zero-G airtime hills, and insane low to the ground turns. This thing gives some of the strongest ejector airtime on a coaster and is also considered one of the best in the world! This is by far one of the most intense and greatest roller coasters ever built. The first drop is absolutely mental because it feels like the train is going to derail every time! It’s also my favorite drop I’ve ever experienced! Every hill also gives powerful ejector airtime, especially that first camelback! You just get sustained for a few seconds as you go flying out of your seat! I also really like the back-to-back Stengel Dives because they both give some insane laterals and the first one gives some great sideways airtime and the low-to-the-ground turns pull insane positive G’s! My favorite parts of Skyrush are easily the drop and the first camelback because they give the strongest airtime on the ride! This thing hauls too, especially at night! It is one mad powerhouse and is overall one of my favorite coasters I’ve ridden. It's definitely the most intense hyper coaster I've ever ridden!

Skyrush may only be 33 seconds long from the drop to brakes, but that layout is jam-packed with insanity. The first two airtime hills are still my favorite moments on the entire coaster, but the first drop (thanks to that ridiculously wide crest), Stengel dive, first turn, twisted hill and final airtime hill - in other words, the rest of the ride - are all fantastic elements in their own right. Even when I did get stapled, Skyrush wasn’t as painful as expected - I was still able to enjoy the ride despite not completely feeling its airtime. I did notice a rattle on Skyrush this time around, especially in the back, but it didn’t detract from the ride experience in my opinion.

Lap Bar Pace Intensity Lap Bar

This is the closest I've come to feeling like I was going to die on a coaster. First off the restraints are both the worst and best part about this ride. They do get super tight, and would be nice if they didn't, but they don't cause to much discomfort during the ride, and I can still feel all the forces so it's not that bad. However, the restraints are so small, and the way they come down, it makes you feel so exposed, and this is what makes Skyrush what it is. The airtime is the strongest I've experienced. The drop really does feel like the train is going to fly off the tracks. The camelbacks give insane sustained ejector, and the last hill is so intense I couldn't help but just scream every time I went over it. The large bank turns in the first half are also amazing. Since the train has no lateral support, the positive gs push you to the side, and I had to literally re align my body during these turns just to stay upright. The laterals in the second half are on a different level though. Once again, the open trains make these elements much more intense. The stangel dive gave crazy laterlas and airtime, the transition after the stangel dive gave the single most intense moment of laterlas I've ever experienced. My body literally just got folded over and it was insane. The twisted hill also give a very aggressive moment of whip. My favorite part of skyrush is that the ride is always doing something, even the transitions between elements are intense. My favorite seat is the back left wing seat, for the drop, laterals, and the feeling of not having a floor beneath you really adds to the insanity that is this ride. This is solidly in my top three, and it will probably stay that way for a while.

Skyrush was my first number 1 coaster as an enthusiast, and 170 credits later it’s still my number 3. Underrated monster of a ride, don’t let the haters scare you away because of the restraints, the more you ride the better you get at ridding comfortably.

This is one legendary ride. You start off with the single greatest first drop I've experienced that's sure to give you some of the craziest airtime out there. Plus throw in an insane ejector airtime filled layout with some great positives and you've got one of the greatest coasters I've ever ridden. Plus I don't mind the restraints at all and appreciate how exposed they make you feel. Either way this is an insane ride and cracks my top 5

That first drop gives 2 pops of ejector, only the second coaster I've ridden to do so (Full Throttle). Crazy intensity that'll make you grey out. Cut by great pops of ejection. Restraint hurts tho. Idc tho still a top 10 coaster I've ridden.

Simply put, Skyrush is one of the greatest roller coasters to ever exist. It does absolutely everything that coaster enthusiasts love, from some of the craziest ejector airtime out there, insane positive Gs, awesome whip, out of this world speed and pacing, and perhaps the best first drop anywhere. The restraints also aren't even that bad, and I actually like them because they make you feel so open and free.

An extremely intense and super fun ride. The first drop is absolutely bonkers and the transitions are insanity. It's like if i305 was a hyper coaster. Airtimes First Drop Intensity

I had high expectations for Skyrush and it far exceeded them. The ride was absolutely insane. It was my 200th coaster and I still can’t comprehend what happened. The first drop in the back row is the best drop I’ve ever experienced other than Tine Travelers, I’m convinced that I could’ve flown out if I didn’t hold on. The rest of the ride is just crazy G-forces and some of the most insane ejector ever. The twisted airtime might’ve been the unsung hero as I hear no one talk about it, but on a wing seat you get ejector and some of the craziest whip ever. My body was almost 90 degrees sideways while getting thrown up. I couldn’t have picked a better 200th coaster. I didn’t expect it to be a perfect 10/10 but now it’s one of five coasters I think get that.

    First Drop Intensity Ejectors

i have ridden skyrush about ten times a year since it has opened and my god the experience never gets old. First off, i LOVE the restraints. they have never been too tight (6'0 180lbs). I truly wish every coaster had these restraints (too many over the shoulders restrict my breathing). now onto the ride, the lift hill lets you know right away that there is no turning back from here. you FLY up the lift hill in what some might think is a launch to THE GREATEST MOMENT IN ROLLER COASTER HISTORY. from the back left wing seat specifically, there has never been a moment where you have been in less control. You get absolutely CHUCKED over the first hill for some of the wildest ejector the industry could imagine. IT IS THE MOST UNSAFE, AWESOME FEELING IN THE WORLD. in terms of a singular coaster element (the drop), i think i will be hard pressed to find a better one in my life. from there you go barrelling around a crazy 5g turn into some SERIOUS, EXTENDED airtime. there is the slighest of rattles momentarily but honestly it doesnt take away from ride at all and you will barely notice with adrelanine pumping so high after drop. from there you will experince some of the best ejector laterals imaginable (from wing seat) and the course concludes with some more amazing airtimes hills before hitting the brake run. overrall, this ride is a dream come true. between the greatest drop in roller coaster history, and the fast paced, intense layout skyrush truly checks all boxes in terms of a world class coaster. some say the restraints ruin it, but even if i didnt like them i would still happily put up with it. HERSHEYPARK is a must visit. Their big 4 (now big 5 with candymonium) seriously competes with any park in the nation. A MUST RIDE/VISIT FOR ANY ENTHUSIAST!!!

This is absolutely world class. The airtime is absolutely wicked, and the first drop... That thing feels like an airplane crash. WOW! The restraints make it so you can't breathe, but you can make the argument that they help the intensity of the ride.

    Nice surprise! Intensity Ejectors Discomfort

This is an angry ride. On my first ride I challenged myself to try and keep my hands up the entire time. I failed bad. Somehwhere after the first drop the ride tried to whip me out of my seat into the midway among the disgusting GP waiting for a pound of chocolate ice cream in 90 degree weather. But I had to hold on for dear life as the laterals tried to end my life. The restraints have no side shoulder support so I spent the ride trying to figure out how to anticipate the whips. This is both a pro and a con as it makes the ride feel crazy intense but a little too intense for the non initiated.

The truth is that I did not really enjoy Skyrush. I had no idea how to ride it, so the lap bar crushed my legs. And I only got one ride. I really want to ride this again, because on paper this coaster should be one of the best designed and intense coasters in the world. Five moments of ridiculous ejector airtime, awesome positives, and several whippy moments, all in an awesome location right next to Comet. Though I did not personally enjoy the ride, I respect the ride's daringly intense design so much that I'm giving it a 9 anyways.

    First Drop Capacity Pace

The fact that Skyrush's lift hill puts some launch coasters to shame says it all really. This ride is an utter balls-to-the-wall sprint from start to finish; threatening any guest sat in the back row left seat with an ejection across into the next state. A consistent, ludicrous adrenaline rush that only gets better each time you ride it.

    Airtimes Lap Bar Intensity

Skyrush is the only coaster I get nervous before riding each time, and the main reason for that is the insane drop. I can’t even begin to describe the drop on Skyrush, it is incomparable to any other ride, basically there is a small kink during the drop, which provides one of the strongest moments of ejector, making this drop my favourite element on any coaster. Directly after the drop you enter a high speed, 5g turn which also has remarkably strong laterals, folding you over to the side. The ride then flies into a low to the ground but outstandingly sustained airtime hill which is also probably the strongest airtime moment I have experienced, and the fact it’s so sustained makes it even more mental. In between the two large airtime hills there is a low to the ground, intense turn which I actually greyed out on during many rides. The second hill is very similar to the first, but then the ride goes into another intense turn, throughout the turn laterals build up, and when you enter the Stengel dive there is a violent push of laterals which is bordering on painful, and that combined with a brief moment of ejector makes for one of the most intense elements on any coaster. The ride then goes into a sudden bank, which has another moment of eminent laterals. The twisted hill provides a weird combination of force as you are thrown upward, forwards and from one side to another in such a short amount of time. For me the ride ends with the final airtime hill which is just as strong if not more strong than the first 2 hills. The coaster then navigates some less intense turns just to get to the brake run, however by this point the ride is essentially over is it doesn’t affect the experience for me. Also the restraints are great as the are so open.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Rattle Discomfort

My 100th coaster! All 5 rides I got on Skyrush left me feeling absolutely pumped and feeling nothing in my legs. But that isn't a bad thing! If anything, I'd say the lap bar makes the ride even more intense than it already is. It ended up hurting so much that when I went to ride Sooperdooperlooper afterwards, my legs still hurt! I kind of surprised I liked it as much as I did. It is a very intense ride, and in some ways, could be compared to I305, a ride that I like, but not as much as others. However, I thought Skyrush did everything better; The airtime, the whippiness, and the drop were all superior to the same things on I305. I just thought like Skyrush was a better ride than I305 and most of the other rides I've ridden. However, I will say that the left side of the train is far smoother than the right side of the train, as it was rattly almost to the point that I couldn't enjoy it. Yet still, the layout itself made up for it!

This ride is very intense and the airtime is incredible! It also has very strong laterals that are borderline unsafe. The first drop is incredible because of the kink in it that just tries to throw you out. The airtime is strong on all of the hills and the ride sustains its forces well in the turns. The restraints are a little uncomfortable but I did not find them too painful and the pain is worth it for the insanity of the left wing seat.
