Coaster reviews

Airtimes Comfort
Vekoma's new take on suspended thrill coasters is a lot more comfortable than their SLC models - no headbanging at all (it has no shoulder restraints). The train is able to swing and this is, together with some very nice inversions, the biggest thrill factor here. Very re-rideable.

Theming Comfort
Very nicely themed family boomerang.

Theming Masterpiece Layout
F.L.Y is a brilliant new ride. It is crafted into one of the best if not the best themed area in existence. The ride is phenomenal and really does provide the sensation of flying through the steampunk theming. Positives are on point, transitions are whippy and the launches are not amazing but good enough in order to not take away from the experience and the ride is incredibly long. The new ride system absolutely deliveres both in terms of the coaster ride as well as the darkride sections. I love how the transition to the flying position and back are part of the ride and fit in with the storyline. Restrsints are comfortable and easy to use for the riders. The coaster does not quite live up to Taron but it gets very close but the theming combined with the way it is crafted actually makes it a superier overall experience. F.L.Y is also part of the rookburgh experience. I had the opportunity to stay at the Charles Lindbergh Hotel which I can absolutely recommend. Views are phenomenal and you can really get up close with the coaster. The whole themed area deliveres such a complete experience which at the time of the review it is probably the best in the world. Also big thumbs up for their locker system. It just works well and makes riding fly without geting smacked by flying phones effortless.

Theming
I love tripsdrill and they nailed the theming with this one (as always). Unfortunately it suffers from the same problem as all family boomerangs I rode: More rattle than it should have, Forwards part feels slightly too fast and the backwards part feels slightly too slow. Vekoma has proven that they can build great coasters (like the ride intertwined with this one) but this ain't one of them unfortunately.

Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!
If you find the spinning mouse coasters boring I recommend you try this one. Its like the zamperla version but with an SBFVisa twist to it (Spoiler alert: OTS restraints). In my opinion its absolutely horrible. The pain is real and even worse than that on an SLC

For some reason the family boomerang model always feels cheap. Unlike vekomas other new rides which are fantastic and feel high quality. Unfortunately this ride is no exception.

Little girl in the row behind me probably caused irrepairable damage to my eardrums while riding this. The times when collecting credits is just not fun

Discomfort Tear it down!
I wasn't expecting it but this might be one of the worst thing to have ever come out of SBF's factory (not the worst since that goes to another ride at this park). The side to side slaming is unbelievable.

This is the proof that you can't build a good SLC. (R.I.P shoulders)

Airtimes Intensity Launch
Another great vekoma layout on this space warp model with a great balance of positive and negative forces. Unfortunately the restraints were quite restrictive and totally different from other vekoma vests like lech coaster. My main complaint however is the launch. I think that a forceless launch can ruin a ride quite badly and I would rather see more coasters with lifthills and decent drops being constructed so I do think that I would probably like the lifthill version of this more.
