Wicked Cyclone was a solid ride and what struck me the most was how much it was trying to eject me out of my seat. It just doesn’t feel anywhere near as good as other RMCs I’ve been on. I much prefer Wildcat’s Revenge, Iron Gwazi, Arie Force One, Lightning Rod, and Hakugei to this. It sort of felt a bit too forced or crazy but lacked something in terms of timing.

    Airtimes Pace Intensity Capacity

Great ride that really whips you around and maintains its intensity throughout. Operations are quite inefficient since it is such a new coaster.

    Intensity Discomfort

This surprised me both positively and negatively. The positive surprise: This Ride was really high and intense, i didn't expect that, because this ride was made for kids. The negative surprise: It was rough as fuck and gave me backpain

First Drop Inversions Location Headbanging Theming

Yes, there is some headbanging and yes, the ride does look bland visually, but i actually really enjoyed the drop, the loopings and especially the corkscrews. The location above the lake is pretty dope too.

First Drop Layout Hangtime Harness Discomfort

Adore the layout, theme, and overall presentation, but for some reason the harnesses on this one in particular REALLY started to dig into my collarbone, which was a shame. Replace the vests and it'd be my favourite wing!

First Drop Nice surprise! Fun Too short

New favourite dive! It's still short but every element hits hard so it feels much more complete than others. Biggest surprise was the airtime hill, much stronger than expected!

First Drop Hangtime Headbanging Too short

A fun little Eurofighter which seems to fit well in this small seaside amusement park. The first drop is actually really fun delivering quite a decent amount of airtime. The inversions give nice hangtime too especially the big slow loop after the drop. The ride is a bit too short but it does keep its pace going throughout and is quite intense due to its compact layout, unfortunately it has become quite rough over time and I did get off with a headache, not to say I didn’t enjoy it though!

    Pace Intensity Layout

Maverick is a coaster with supreme personality. I've always loved this ride, but in recent years you realize how unique Maverick is. Cedar Point and Intamin really showed off how intense you can make a ride that is barely over 100 ft tall. From beginning to end, Maverick is a beast, but one that makes you laugh in awe of how crazy it all is. The turns and banking are snappier than any other coaster I've ridden and the new restraints are honestly really nice in my opinion. Some of the ejector on the speed hills is so powerful that you are genuinely shocked during and after. Maverick may not "look" like a lot from the pathway, but the current #13 spot in the world is much deserved. By far the best theming at Cedar Point too (not saying a lot because there's barely theming anywhere, but the sound effects and lights of a "train crossing" before the launch really adds to the intensity and excitement of it. Would love to see them lean more into that kind of thing for future rides.

    Lap Bar Launch Intensity

The original dragster was by far the most intense physical feeling I've ever experienced. Imagine the top acceleration of a tesla times three. Your heart and stomach were literally left at the station. I am so sad to see Top Thrill 2 struggling right now, but hope that I get to ride it someday. Still, nothing will compare to the original hydraulic launch. It was SO powerful. I'll be chasing that crazy feeling forever!
