First Drop Intensity Layout
I dunno man, I like it! There's a guaranteed greyout on the helix and I find those old school forceless hyper drops charming. The washed out paint only adds to the appeal. Sue me!

Rock'n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith - Walt Disney World - Disney's Hollywood Studios
John d. 2 months agoAerosmith is indeed starred. nothing really happens here

Launch Pace Fun Too short
Only been on it with the backward launch. almost seems pointless without it
-
Inversions Fun Too short Dead spots
Truth be told I haven't been on this guy in over a decade I just think the "jojo roll" is the funniest element ever
-
Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity Too short Discomfort
Did I hallucinate doing this with VR goggles? Did it come to me in a fever dream? Surprisingly fun and forceful old dinosaur regardless. That it looks moments away from collapsing into a dust cloud adds to the thrill
-
Nice surprise! Fun Discomfort
I like the flying coaster gimmick so much I'm willing to overlook the fact that this is objectively a bad one
-
Capacity Smoothness Pointless Layout
The go-to "Toro and Nitro have hour long lines because it's a June weekend" ride. filler
-
Smoothness Duration Harness Disappointing! Dead spots
Seat hurts your balls, harness hurts your shoulders. Mostly forceless with some tiny airtime pockets and a cool water section (when the water is on). Usually the longest line in the park because of dreadfully slow ops. The inversion almost has hangtime when the ride is running sluggishly, which is kinda cool
-
Airtimes Fun Dead spots
Adore the logo. Every coaster should have a little cloaked figure on its trains. Cool airtime hills that sometimes have actual airtime
-
Inversions Launch Too short
Didn't know it was possible for a coaster to have cringeworthy theming. They're lucky the ride is fun
-
First Drop Intensity Layout
Where's the first helix? Why does the midcourse brake run completely stop you? Titan clears 🥱
-
Intensity Headbanging Discomfort
Too disorienting for you to comprehend the forces you're feeling. Not terribly comfortable. Pretty bad operations. None of this matters because it's one of the only genuinely frightening coasters in existence

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure - Universal Islands of Adventure
John d. 2 months agoTheming Layout Duration Dead spots
Has no right to be as forceful as it is. Lovely theming and queue, fantastic layout for the most part. Terribly slow ops but I don't think there's much they can really do about that given the nature of the ride
-
Inversions Fun Layout
Genuinely frightening at times. Flying coasters are easily one of my favorite gimmicks, and the views from this thing are stunning
-
Too short Tear it down! Pointless
What are we even doing here? The launch isn't even that great! "415 feet tall" but it feels like 150. A deafeningly loud waste of space. The attached drop tower is fun
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity
The pain is real and it makes the ride better. Wouldn't be the same without it. They somehow made a 76 degree drop feel like 91
-
Headbanging Harness Discomfort
The haters are all right, the defenders are all deluded. Somehow hurt your legs (?) in addition to the headbanging. Uninspired layout, lame queue, usually managed to rack up a decently long line in spite of everything. RIP bozo
-
Launch Intensity Tear it down!
There'll never be an element as nerve-wracking as this launch. I don't care if it rattled a little bit, that added to the intimidation. The "airtime hill" with zero airtime adds half a star for humor. The view from the tophat sucked but I don't care
-
First Drop Intensity Too short Dead spots
Drops are fun but there are a couple wide turns where nothing really happens. A teeny bit rattly. Definitely wouldn't ride over Montu or Gwazi
-
Fun Intensity Smoothness Reliability
Crazy forceful for an invert. Ride near the back so you can't see which element is coming next. Usually one of the shorter lines in the park, but it's broken down a few times this week.
-
Pace Intensity Ejectors
Probably not the best RMC, but the best one I've done. Some of the moments (death roll, stall) don't hit super hard unless you're near the back on the left side. Otherwise it's got a wicked pace, sick lateral g's, and some solid ejector spots all throughout the train. Solid operations, especially for a pretty poorly-run park
