    Launch Pace Intensity

Best B&M Wing by far. The launch surprisingly has a great punch to it and the ride absolutely hauls for a B&M wing. The inversions and banked turns at the beginning deliver sustained crushing positives that had me grey out once and the final 2 inversions give great float and hang time. This ride is also just plain fun too and has an amazing setting that makes night rides great.

Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity Dead spots

My favorite B&M invert as of now. Definitely was not expecting this ride to be as good as it was. The cobra roll is one of the greatest inversions I’ve experienced and carries this ride, I was bracing for a rattly transition and was absolutely shocked when I got crushing positives followed by ejector airtime while inverted and violent whip, followed by even more mental positives and another moment of insane whip, ur feet feel like they are literally gonna fall off after this element. I just wanted to keep riding and I was waiting just for this element to hit. It’s hard to put this cobra roll into words you just have to hop in that back right seat and let the ride work it’s magic on you. As for the rest of the ride the first half is full on great positives and impeccable pacing, there is also a very whippy transition into the MCBR. Sadly the mid course does kill the rides pacing, the zero g roll, corkscrew and helix do have some nice forces and whip but the ride just doesn’t carry the same speed and intensity. This ride does have a little rattle but it’s nothing much especially if you are in the back row right seat which is the best seat, and there is no head banging at all. Overall it’s a solid B&M invert and would rank pretty good but the cobra roll propels it over the top for me.

    Pace Fun Intensity Too short

Very short ride but what it has with the amazing pacing and swinging is enough for me to really enjoy the ride. Quite intense too surprisingly.

First Drop Theming Hangtime Headbanging Harness Discomfort

Solid ride but definitely my least favorite euro fighter. It has 2 good drops and the last inversion gives good hangtime, but a lot of the ride is pointless and just hurts so to the head banging and bad track profiling. However the theming is cool but I can’t really save the ride. I still like the ride but it’s nothing special and the pain makes me move it down a few spots.

    Inversions Location Fun Dead spots

Solid arrow looper overall. The straight first drop was pretty good and the inversions were fun however ride really didn’t give that many forces and it had a lot of dead spots. The ride also had some bad transitions and the seat mold is terrible which is a weird complaint I have but the pain was manageable. Overall it’s just a solid mid tier arrow looper for me and I’m just glad I got to ride it before it went defunct.

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Too short

Very underrated ride, has a few bad transitions but overall not enough to detract from the ride and that speed hill is amazing. It’s 5 seconds of sustained flojector and while the rest of the ride doesn’t do anything that one moment is good enough to make the ride

  • Carter Eckhart

First Drop Pace Intensity Harness Disappointing! Discomfort

The first drop is insane and the ride is very intense. The ride also hauls the entire time too. However the restraints are terrible and there is little you can do to fix the pain. The ride also has many overrated elements such as the first 2 airtime hills and especially the Stengel dive. Overall I find the ride pretty overrated but there is still some amazing things this coaster has to offer.

  • Carter Eckhart

Airtimes Fun Duration Rattle Dead spots

Solid ride to me. The drop is good and the non inverting loop is an amazing moment, definitely the best on the ride by far. There is also a lot of fun elements during the ride including this one twisted bunny hop that I really like. However the pacing is pretty terrible, there is a lot of dead spots and it has a rattle. Overall its a very fun ride but nothing special.

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun

I don't remember this ride too much but I remember being smooth and having a fun layout with some nice airtime moments including this one very strong one that sent me flying with the amount of room I had in the restraints. Solid classic woodie.

    Inversions Launch Intensity Too short

My favorite out of the 3 accelerators I've ridden. While the launch can't match the insanity of dragster's or ka's, It still is absolutely amazing. However this one has the extended layout which is why I prefer it. The drop is great sustained ejector and the flying snake dive gives great airtime going in and whip exiting it. The ride is short but I just love what it has to offer.

Location Intensity Duration Dead spots Layout

I got a back row night ride on the beast and it was actually very intense, I couldn't feel the trims that much, and the laterals were really good, especially in that final helix, and I love just how long this ride is. The location is beautiful, you don't even feel like your in an amusement park, you feel like your in the middle of nowhere lost in the woods, a deer even walked right up to the track when I was riding, unfortunately this coaster just has so many dead spots though.

Airtimes Nice surprise! Fun Capacity Dead spots

I rode this about 2 weeks before it closed for good so I had to wait over 4 hours for it but it blew my expectations out of the water, it was actually very comfortable, and there is this weird sensation you get as you pull out in the flying position, its like positives but cuz your in the flying position it feels like airtime its so crazy and weird, the vertical loop also had some nice forces as well, unfortunately the pacing was the single worst I've ever seen and there was some dead spots during the ride, however this ride was surprisingly amazing and it really sucks that its gone.

    Inversions Intensity Smoothness Dead spots

Solid floorless. Lots of decently forceful inversions and the zero g roll is very snappy.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Pace Fun Duration

This coaster is non stop the entire ride, very rapid fire and just amazing pacing overall. The airtime really isn’t that strong but there is plenty of it, with those 2 sustained hills standing out in particular. The ride also feels very long and isn’t even that rough. Overall the ride is relentless and a topi tier woodie.

    Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity

This was a big shock when I returned to Cedar Point. I remembered it being fun but not very intense. However this time it ran really fast and had some surprising moments. The first half was really intense especially that inclined loop. There was also some very snappy transitions like the one before the MCBR which is my favorite element on the ride. There is also some great floater on the first drop and drop off the MCBR. The ride also does have a few jerky transitions and sometimes a little rattle but it doesn’t bother me at all. Overall this is a very underrated coaster, my favorite B&M at the park and my favorite floorless coaster.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Location Pace Fun

This ride is just pure fun. The pacing is ridiculous, it non stop flies for the entire ride, and it’s a long ride too. All of the elements are very rapid fire combined with the constant switching of directions creates an insanely aggressive ride. The forces aren’t too strong but it has plenty of nice airtime and lateral moments. The location of the ride looks cool as well and makes night rides a must. Overall this is some of GCI’s finest work and one of the best wooden coasters I’ve ridden.

  • Carter Eckhart

Comfort Fun Intensity Dead spots Layout

Yeah the ride meanders around for a lot of the layout but I still love this ride. Pretzel loops are always crazy intense and being in the flying position is just always fun to me now matter how slow or dull the elements are.

  • Carter Eckhart

First Drop Intensity Smoothness Too short

Nice drop, fun beginning and the final 2 inversions are really intense. It definitely is short but that doesn't ruin the ride for me. Overall the ride has nice and fun elements and is just a very enjoyable ride.

  • Carter Eckhart

Airtimes Lap Bar Smoothness Dead spots

The double down is an insane standing ejector moment. The rest of the ride doesn't really do anything but its still fun and smooth, however the double down is why I rank it as high as I do.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Airtimes First Drop Fun

This ride surprised me so much. The restraints make such a big difference. The airtime is so good especially on the speed hills at the end.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Launch Intensity Too short Reliability

I didn't find it to be that rough and the restraints didn't bother me at all, and I don't care about the trim cuz I never got airtime on TTD anyway, I prefer this over TTD cuz the launch is significantly better, that's the only thing good about this ride but I love myself a nice intense launch.

  • Carter Eckhart

Inversions Nice surprise! Fun Dead spots

A nice fun ride. Nothing too crazy but the inversions are just very floaty and fun. The final helix also made me grey out once somehow which was a nice surprise. Overall not too forceful but its just pure fun.

  • Carter Eckhart

First Drop Lap Bar Duration Dead spots Layout Reliability

This ride used to be amazing. However now it runs very slow and gives barely any airtime. Luckily the first drop is still great and so is the camelback after the straightaway on most days. A lot of the ride does nothing through and the layout is just plain bad. The ride also is down way too much. If it ever runs like it used to I will definitely rate it higher but for now its really just mediocre.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Pace Intensity Smoothness

Its kinda overrated but its still very intense and whippy, especially that final helix

  • Carter Eckhart

    Inversions Pace Intensity

Awesome B&M invert. After my first ride it was my least favorite but when it warmed up it became one of my favorite inverts. This ride does have a few decently snappy moments and even a surprise pop of airtime. but positive g's is really where this ride shines. The exit of the vertical loop is a guarantee grey out and I'm not one to grey out much. The 2 helixes are also have very sustained positive g's throw in a bunch of other moments with good forces. Not to mention the pacing on this ride is excellent, no dead spots and the ride hauls and feels like it just keeps getting faster which is weird but I like it. Overall this ride is extremely intense and should not be overlooked because its a top tier B&M invert for me.

  • Carter Eckhart

    First Drop Inversions Intensity

Very underrated coaster. Sit in the back and you will get insane ejector on the first drop. The vertical loop gives great positives and the batwing gives great whip going into it followed by crushing positives. The corkscrews can either give amazing hang time if running slow or they give some positives and this very weird sensation that’s hard to describe if running fast. The final helix also gives some solid positives. If the ride is running really fast you can even get airtime coming into the MCBR and final brake run. The ride is also butter smooth with only 1 or 2 awkward transitions. This ride is an absolute hidden gem.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Airtimes Pace Intensity

The definition of Intamin death. The pacing is insane since you stay low to the ground the whole ride and even the trim can’t kill the pacing. If the pacing isn’t enough then you have the crushing positives, I don’t grey out much but that first turn had me every time and even made me blackout once. And don’t sleep on the rest of this ride there were like 3 or 4 other moments I was greying out, I’m pretty sure I greyed out more on this one coaster than every other coaster I’ve ridden combined, I was literally seeing grey for half of the ride. The airtime was actually really good as well, the first drop and first hill are sustained strong ejector, the transition after the first hill somehow gives powerful ejector, and even the trimmed hill and the hill following manage to give flojector on a good ride. Also the s bends and pop into the brake run somehow give airtime ranging from strong floater to weaker ejector. So even though the ride doesn’t focus on airtime it still surprisingly excels in that category. And don’t even get me started on the whip. Those s bends and turn into the brake run whip u so ridiculously hard it feels like you break your neck, you can’t even see yourself turning you whip that hard it’s like you teleport. And also because this ride is just that insane you get airtime on these s bends. The ride doesn’t have the longest duration but it still feels long due to the amount of elite elements packed in and how physically draining the ride is, I rode it 3 times in a row once and after that I was just completely out of it. Also I don’t have any problems with the restraints either, yeah t bars would be nice but I don’t mind the ones it has. Overall this coaster has everything I look for in love in a coaster which is why its one of the best on the planet.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Smoothness Layout Ejectors Capacity

Solid RMC overall. Not my favorite of the small RMC's but still packs a punch. the barrel roll down drop has great hangtime mixed with whip in the back row. The first ejector hill is RMC at its finest and my favorite element on the ride. The next 3 sustained ejector hills are also great too. The trick track double up is very overrated, barely providing ejector but the ride makes up for it with the excellent double down following. Overall Storm Chaser doesn't have a large quantity of airtime moments, but what it does have more than makes up, especially those 4 sustained hills in the beginning.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Inversions Intensity Duration

Definitely a top tier invert. The ride hauls and keeps getting better as the ride progresses. The first drop is excellent for an invert. All of the inversions are very intense, with that pretzel knot, 2nd loop and ending helix packing in the most g's. You even get a unique hangtime with that final inversion. the ride also is very long and has a nice and sort of unique layout for an invert. The vests and rattle also don't bother me at all. Really the only thing stopping me from ranking this higher is that it doesn't have the snap of the older inverts, but for what it is it is an amazing ride.

  • Carter Eckhart

Lap Bar Location Ejectors Too short Dead spots

Phantom does pretty much nothing for the first half of the ride, but after you rise out of that ravine you get some of the wildest airtime on the planet, and that lap bar makes it feel even stronger as you are yanked completely out of your seat.
