Discomfort Tear it down! Dead spots

holy shit this thing is a horrible mistake. If I could add more than 3 main cons I would. The roughness on this ride is so bad that even a mine train being that rough would be a horrible ride. It feels like you're driving on grand boulevard at 100 miles per hour. Easily the roughest thing I've ever seen in person, let alone ridden. But one thing that fellow boss haters rarely mention is how god awful the layout and pacing is. This has to be the weakest layout in Missouri. The first half of the ride is just several airtimeless drops back to back with brutal turns between them. If this thing was smoother it would be the tamest ride in the park, the pacing is genuinely that bad. I would mention specific dead spots but the entire ride is a dead spot. Overall, this crime against humanity sucks so much ass that it rides like they were intentionally trying to make it bad for shits and giggles. I'm sure I sound like such an entitled thoosie saying this lol. if it's your favorite ride, no one can take that away from you, but I'm willing to call it trash only because I can't tell what it's trying to do as a ride

    Airtimes Masterpiece Ejectors

there's nothing to say about this masterpiece that hasn't been said already, yes it is the best coaster ever built and yes it lives up to the hype

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Masterpiece Intensity

yeah this ride is good, it definitely deserves the praise it got. the lateral forces are the best part in my opinion but it's also one of the best drops out there

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Inversions Smoothness

I generally like wing coasters, and this is no exception, it pulls some serious forces and the hangtime and airtime is really good. Fun ride

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Fun

This isn't particularly intense or a masterpiece, but it's a good transitioning roller coaster with fun drops and airtime and whatnot, just pretty solid

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Inversions Harness

I don't have much of an issue with the vest restraint, but the titty mauler seems to be designed to hurt tall people and people with large boobs. Vest restraints press against my chest and I'm not even tall. That said, the ride itself has some good floater airtime and good inversions

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Intensity Headbanging

It's a very intense B&M invert and having OTSRs naturally it has headbanging, but the headbanging isn't that bad

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Lap Bar Fun

This ride is definitely cracked. It has some phenomenal sustained floater airtime and the first drop is one of the best first drops I've experienced. I think it deserves the praise it's gotten, even though it's not the world's greatest.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Fun Duration

Solid family coaster. That's it, it's a solid family coaster.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Intensity Layout Headbanging

pretty good ride, pretty intense, but the headbanging is cringe asf

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Lap Bar Intensity Too short

This ride is really intense and really fun, but it's like 25% of a ride. Length is its main issue.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Inversions Fun Intensity

This ride is really, really good. Everything about it is great. I wish a clone of this would be installed at my home park, because this was an excellent choice of a ride to clone even if it was a terrain coaster.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Comfort Smoothness Layout

This is the only B&M hyper I've ridden so far, but it appears to be the worst of them all due to its twister layout. I don't really care about the twister layout, but it is worse than if they did an out and back layout or outer-banked every large turn so it gives airtime. Oh yeah, something that doesn't affect the ride experience: hot damn this thing is ugly

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Inversions Intensity

This was my first wing coaster, and damn what a great introduction to this model. wing coasters pull some great forces. It's not as good as gatekeeper but I loved this ride when I got on.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Launch Capacity

standard impulse coaster, one thing I would add if I could would be repetition. the concept of an impulse coaster is pretty repetitive. but the 2 spikes on this ride are pretty good so I don't care that it's repetitive

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Inversions Too short

This ride is really damn good during its short layout, but that short layout is the main problem with it. This would probably get a lot more praise if it just did 1 more lap around the ride. That zero-g stall and dive loop were both wicked elements and it's a shame they're on something so short.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Fun

This is the tamest ride I've been on and it's a pretty solid kiddie coaster. It's not exactly designed for me, but for these lower intensity rides, I'm rating them based on how well they serve less seasoned riders.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Intensity Headbanging Harness

This ride with lap bars would be good, but for now, it's low mediocre. It's a pretty intense ride, nothing on the level of I305 or even Mr. Freeze and Batman, but it does pull some good forces at least. The cobra rolls headbang hard though

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Headbanging Tear it down! Intensity

I can't wrap my head around the fact that this was once the hottest thrill ride in the park. It crawls through its layout and slams your head through every Planet Coaster transition like it was designed to be trash. This thing absolutely deserves its reputation as one of the worst coasters on earth. It doesn't belong in Six Flags St. Louis, it belongs in the scrapyard. I would love to see this ride torn down and replaced with a raptor of the same name and color scheme.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Inversions Pace Intensity

Batman was an excellent choice for a ride to clone and put at most six flags parks. The intensity, sequencing and pacing are on-point and it results in a truly cracked ride. So glad we got this instead of an SLC.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Inversions Pace Intensity Too short

This may not be a long ride, but it's a great one, easily the best in the park. It has great intensity and hangtime in the top hat. The vertical spike is the best part of the ride, providing what feels like hangtime and floater airtime mixed together. Overall, this is a really great ride.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Airtimes Discomfort

This isn't as bad as other rides even at the park, but it's very rough, almost unbearable during high vertical G-force and laterals. The airtime is pretty good but the roughness between each airtime hill makes this ride a lot worse than it needs to be. I guess I can cut it some slack for being 40 years old, and I don't want to see this go anytime soon, but man it's not good

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Fun Smoothness Layout

Unlike RKMT, this is a great family coaster that can please both timid and seasoned park guests. It's butter smooth and not too intense, but it pulls some good forces and this is also a good coaster to ride to get used to roller coasters.

  • BLITZN00DLE

    Fun

I have a whole lot of nothing to say about this ride. It's not bad and not steel vengeance amazing. The airtime is good, it's a solid GCI overall but nothing more than that. This, to me, is a great transition coaster between RKMT, Pandemonium and the larger roller coasters.

  • BLITZN00DLE

Theming Location Harness Dead spots Layout

This thing is alright as a family coaster, but unlike good modern family coasters, it's the only coaster I've ridden that I would say I'm bored of. It's pretty bumpy, the transitions are a complete meme because this is an arrow, there are many dead zones and the lap bar leaves so much room that you end up slamming around your whole body on the more intense sections. I grew up with this coaster and have fond memories of it, but it doesn't hold up today.
