Coaster reviews

Theming Fun Discomfort
Ride is a bit bumpy, but surprisingly forceful and has some great theming. Solid mine train.
-
Fun Too short
Weird restraints, nothing too crazy ride wise as it is a family coaster.
-
Disappointing!
Not much to say about this one. Wasn’t anything special.
-
Fun
Fun ride for what it is. Was surprisingly smooth as well.
-
Airtimes First Drop Ejectors
Incredible RMC. Barrel roll first drop is fun. Each airtime hill delivers sharp ejector airtime. It really does feel like you’re chasing a storm with how out of control it feels.
-
Inversions Launch Fun
Such a great wing coaster. The launch is punchy, the inversions are great (especially the slow roll at the end). Love the near miss elements with the barns.
-
Pace Duration
This ride really caught me off guard with how good it was. Incredible pacing and a very long duration. Love all the tunnels and the bell tower as well.
-
First Drop Location Duration
What an incredible ride. One of the best first drops on a wooden coaster. The whole ride feels so out of control while also having a great setting throughout the woods. Feels like it never ends too. Unforgettable experience.
-
Inversions Intensity Rattle
This ride has a great, long, layout and I especially love the slow roll at the end. It also made my head feel like it was in a blender the whole time. One of the shakiest steel coasters I’ve ever ridden. Really detracted from a great ride.
-
Location Smoothness Dead spots
There really wasn’t too much exciting about this ride. Has a cool setting and was surprisingly smooth but pretty lackluster.
-
Inversions Pace Ejectors
Really solid RMC. The inversions are fun, there’s plenty of airtimes and the pacing is outstanding. I saw everyone who came off of this ride for the first time absolutely loved it, myself included.
-
Fun
Solid wood coaster. I somehow manage to lose every time I ride lightning racer though.
-
Location Discomfort
Pretty janky ride. Tougher than I expected it to be. Had a nice setting but was a little to bumpy for me.
-
Location Fun Dead spots
This was my favorite coaster at cedar point when I was a kid. It’s pretty tame but definitely has its moments. The setting over the water is awesome and this coaster always makes me smile because of the nostalgia.
-
Discomfort
Probably one of the worst coasters at cedar point. I would’ve said it was too short but I’m glad it was honestly. Looks amazing when you’re walking right under the corkscrews but riding it is not very fun.
-
First Drop Location Pace
Incredible setting by the lake. Amazing first drop. Blistering speed and pacing. A little lackluster in the airtime department but still such an iconic roller coaster.
-
Fun Capacity
Fun ride. Probably the best wild mouse I’ve ridden but I don’t really care for the model. Spins a good amount which I’m also not the biggest fan of.
-
First Drop Location Fun
This was my first B&M wing coaster and it did not disappoint. The first drop is awesome and the view you get of the lake is incredible. The key hole elements are cool and I love how this ride interacts with the main gate at cedar point.
-
Fun
This was the first coaster I ever rode at cedar point and it is a classic. Nothing stands out too much. Fun woodie that still runs decently smooth despite its age.
-
First Drop Harness
Great first drop, harness is a bit uncomfortable. Nothing stands out too much but still a very fun ride.
-
Airtimes Discomfort
Definitely was rougher than I was expecting but also has some crazy airtimes. I wish it weren’t so rough so that I could enjoy the aggressive airtime more. Solid ride but definitely could be better.
-
Inversions Intensity
Pretty intense invert, especially the final helix. Made my foot numb. A little rougher than other inverts but not unbearable.
-
Airtimes First Drop Inversions
Such an incredible roller coaster. If you love airtime, this one is for you. You’re out of your seat for a lot of this really long coaster. The inversions that go through the structure are really cool. Fun throughout the entire ride.
-
Inversions Launch Pace
What a ride. Maverick is amazing from start to finish. First drop is great, the tunnel launch in punchy, and the rest of it is nuts. Quick transitions and great inversions as well as airtime moments. One of the most well rounded coasters I’ve ever ridden.
-
Fun Too short
It’s over in like 30 seconds but it’s extremely fun through all of it. There’s some jungle music playing on the way up and we got some flips every time we rode it, some of which were so forceful they caught me off guard.
-
Fun
Reptilian is a very unique coaster. Unique that you can have two riders in the same seat and unique that it’s a bob sled style ride. Ride itself was nothing special but was definitely great to try something new.
-
Fun Disappointing! Discomfort
This was not duelIng when I went to KD which is a little disappointing. The layout isn’t that rough but definitely has a few moments that are. The layout didn’t impress me but it wasn’t horrible either.
-
Theming Launch Fun Capacity
Solid ride with some good theming. The launch and the helix that follows is pretty forceful. The rest is ok.
-
First Drop Discomfort
Solid first drop for a wild mouse, but when this ride hit the final breaks it hit them so hard and abruptly that my stomach was thrown into the restraint. Definitely killed the vibe on an otherwise decent wild mouse.
-
Location Headbanging Disappointing!
The setting is really cool on this one as most of it is over a body of water. It’s pretty rough and the mid course break run straight up brings it to a crawl so that was really disappointing. Probably one of the worst coasters at kings dominion.
